Anyone exercise (more than walking) on P2?

I used to go to the gym 2-3 times per week doing weights (not very heavy wts but it was a fast-paced circuit training). I miss it. I am thinking of going back to it now. Any thoughts? I am on VLCD14 and plan to go a long round.

I think if you started before P2 and continue into the Protocol you can keep exercising but once you start exercising after a lull for the HCG you're not going to notice as high of losses because your exercised muscles will retain water. You'll still lose fat and inches but the scale may not go down. Another problem is that exercise for some makes them hungry. The Protocol doesn't say no exercise, just warns your weight loss may decrease due to water retention and the higher weight of added muscle.

Sassy's right. I cardio box. 3-4 times a week. I continued it and will keep it up. Protocol says not to start anything new.

I stopped 3 weeks ago (one week before I started hcg). I guess I am wondering if that is considered "new" since I took 3 wks off. My OP wasn't clear. I read what he said about it in P&I, I just wanted some real life experiences with exercising on P2.

I'm doing Couch to 5k. I've been doing it since April. I go very slowly (I am so not a runner) by doing each week twice - once on a flat trail, and I repeat it on a hillier trail.

I was up to week 6 but once I started the protocol I could really tell a difference in my energy levels. The 25 minute run nearly killed me, although I did the 20 minute run the week before just fine. Then I got sidetracked by rain, camping, sore legs from climbing while camping, and I haven't run since a week ago Tuesday.

I plan on starting again tomorrow on week 5. I plan on continuing C25k even if I have to stay on week 5 until I'm done with P2!
