I saw a friend the other day that I hadn't seen since I started hcg and she didn't recognize me. She thought I was someone else. I was wondering why she wasn't talking to me!
She kept saying how remarkable it was and how muscular I looked. (I knew there was muscle hiding under all that fat!) She was speechless. She was looking at me like I was a ghost! I don't think I look that different, but I got a kick out of her reaction! Quote:

Fantastic results! Keep up the good work. If/When you are tempted by the smores (I LOVE smores) just think of how good you feel having lost 11 lbs and how will you feel if you step on the scale and have to re lose them all! Hang tough! I know you can do it!!Quote:

CTG,
Along the line of not being recognizable, my neighbor stopped by the other night. Now this is a neighbor that has asked me about how I have lost the weight, has asked if he could do it (meaning is it for males as well!), and I have given all the info I have to get him and his wife started. Once they heard about the calories they stopped right there!! But maybe one day!! I keep hoping because his wife is a dear friend and she really needs to lose her weight. Anyhow, he (along with his DW) stopped by the other night and keeps telling me how I am unrecognizable!! He looks at me from behind as he comes home from work and is driving past while I am walking and IF he sees me with DH he thinks I am my 9 yr old DD!! Then if I am alone and walking, he confuses me with the umpteen teenagers we have in the neighborhood. Nothing like hearing that to boost ones ego!!!!

I find the people who need this the most don't do it. It boils down to hard work, they don't want to have anything to do with it, if it takes effort. It comes down to my favorite quote...."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten." |

I've decided to return to P2 on Tuesday regardless of what the scale does this weekend. I just can't wrap my head around P3 yet so I'll go back to P2, get my act together and then head back to P3 at a lower weight. I'm thinking 127 or so. I think I went a little nuts on P3 trying stuff I normally never would have
I don't know what came over me but I feel like I need to regroup. I'd go back tomorrow but I've already got plans for the game tomorrow night (Go Devils!) and that's gonna be tough with the seats we have and food included and Sunday I have a dinner invite at a neighbors and Monday spending the day with a pal of my dh's cooking at my house. He's just really gotten into healthy cooking and stuff so we decided to make some stuff together and make my dd's meals for next week too. It will be fun but it won't be P2 fare. P3? probably but definitely not P2. I may make my meals up at the same time I make my dd's. I'm looking forward to returning![]() |

R1P2VLCD20 down another pound!
WW, sorry P3 hit you like a ton of bricks. I think, just like P2, your head has to be in the game for P3. You'll get there. You just need to prepare and add things back slowly. It's easy to start adding everything back in because we missed our old 'friends'. ![]() |

WW, it really sounds like you have a good plan in place. I'm really worried about moving on to P3 (even though I still have a while to go on P2 ), and I'm really hoping that I can learn from everything you guys are posting. I appreciate you sharing what works and what doesn't. How long are you planning to stay on P2 this round?
Sounds like everyone is still doing great!! I'm down 11.8 pounds, from preload weight, after VLCD5! I'm really excited that this working so well and so quickly!!! |

Yeah, I decided to share my struggles because it is helping me to figure things out by getting advice and I figure it is helpful to read that P3 isn't a walk in the park it sounds like while you're on P2. Today seems to be going well so far and I'm figuring out what I'll eat the rest of my P3 days so that I use up the things I've purchased and they won't be talking to me when i get back on P2 on Tuesday and get my head in the right place. I'd do a little longer but I have a dinner to go to that is 2 weeks from today and I want to be in P3 then, so by my estimations I go to P2 on Tuesday 9-7 dosing until 9-14, 2 days No dosing, then P3 9-17. |

Thrilled to report...R1P2VLCD15 down 11 lbs. and get this...14.25 inches!! Woo-hoo. And 10 of those inches is from waist, abdomen, hips, and butt!! Love this protocol!! I tried on a pair of capris that last week depressed me that they still didn't fit. I am wearing them this week!!

163 and stalled for the 3rd day.
I must admit that I am a little discouraged. I am drinking plenty of water and staying on protocal. The only change I have made is going from Kosher salt to sea salt. I certainly do not feel that I am overdoing the salt, but the sea salt does tastes much saltier. Could that be it?? Any thoughts on this? |
