Anyone else 5-10 lbs to lose?
I received my drops today and plan to start on Friday. I'm looking for a buddy who has just a little to lose!

I have about 10 pounds to lose too, I've done Atkins for a few years and I keep gaining and losing the same 5 pounds, so I thought I'd give the hcg a try. I started Sunday-I've lost pound wise only about 2 so far but my hips are smaller, I didn't measure but I can tell because by Tuesday I was able to fit into a skirt that was too tight before and call me crazy but it looks like the cellulite on my thighs is disappearing!

Sally,
I have around 5-10 to lose. I will be starting as soon as I get my hcg. I wonder if it will be harder since we don't have as much to lose? Are you using the rx or homeopathic? Sublingual or injections? |

Hi CLM,
That was my worry too... I couldn't find anyone who only had that little to lose on their first/only round. I'm using the drops. Today is VLCD #1. I felt really tired today, but not hungry. Just took my 3rd set of drops and getting ready to fix dinner. I will post my results Sally |

Hi CLM,
I'm starting VLC day 4 and have lost 2.8 lbs!! I think that's a great rate of loss, only about 3-4 more to go! Sally |

walkingwoman,
Thanks and I see you are doing AWESOME from the main thread! Only 5 lbs to go- that's great! I'm still worried that my results are some kind of fluke... in spite of everyone's successes... ![]() |

You're doing a fantastic job! Congrats to you. Just keep going and see where this plan takes you. Are you going to stick with 100 as your goal weight and just up your calories when you get there to be able to stick with the protocol or are you going to do something else? Inquiring minds wanna know

My goal is 100 but that was according to my old, non-digital scale, which I have discovered is about 1 1/2 lbs off from my new scale- so between 100-102 depending on how I feel. If I meet goal before the cycle ends, i will finish out the drops while gradually increasing my calories. The Dr. doesn't specify how to do that though... so that's something for me to think about!

Hi oneoftwo,
We are not allowed to discuss where we got our drops on LCF. I googled and found a seller that had a lot of positive reviews. Netrition also recently started selling HCG but I am not familiar with theirs. If you decide to try it, please keep in touch! ![]() |

Thanks I guess the one thing that I am confused on, how/what do you eat after going through all the phases to maintain?

I think you figure out what you can eat and what makes you gain in phases 3 and 4. That is why you gradually add foods back in. It will differ person to person what they can eat withour gaining.
Well I got my hcg today so I'm going to start loading tomorrow! I'm a little nervous about mixing it myself but how hard can it be? How is it going today Sally? I'll be looking to you alot since your a little ahead of me! |

Sally,
I ordered my drops today. Since you also have a lower amount to loose like myself I have a question. Is it "required" to do the plan for 23 days if you get to you desired weight? |

oneoftwo,
Have you downloaded the book by Dr simeon "pounds and inches"? It's essential to read and will give you all the basics. Just google and there are several websites that have it. To answer your question, the Dr. says that if you reach goal before the 23 days, finish out w/the drops and you can increase your calories up to 800-1000, so that is what I will do hopefully in about a week! something to do with it takes that long to reset the hypothalamus. The book contains information on maintenance after the drops. It involves three weeks of eating low carb (no sugar/starch) and then moving to P4 maintenance. (that is the scary part for me... to figure out how to eat to maintain the loss). CLM, are you doing injections? I'm excited for you to start and hear about how you are doing in a few days! I'm sitting here watching Bethenny Getting Married and SLOWWWLY eating my apple slices, dipping them in SF caramel syrup... ![]() ![]() I'm down 4.2 lbs in 6 days!!! |

Thanks Sally,
Yes I have read it, I was just a bit confused, but I have been under the weather this week so I am not thinking clearly. |

Hi oneoftwo,
Oh no worries... I just wanted to make sure you had the book. I find it a bit difficult to read; not sure if it was the writing style of the 50s or what... I hope you start feeling better soon ![]() Sally |
