VLCD4 -1. When I woke up this morning I was really thirsty, shaky and a little weak. I ate some chicken and an orange and now I feel fine. Does that sound like something is wrong with my dosage? I take the rx sublingual every 12 hours and I was about a 1/2 hour late taking it this morning.

Hi CLM,
I don't do the sublingual so I can't say on that. Maybe you did not have enough fluids or sodium yesterday? I hope you are feeling better now! How much have you lost so far? I have only ONE More pound to reach my goal... so excited!!! I'm going to stay on the drops for the whole program like the Dr. recommends. I am looking forward to going back to regular low carb eating! Sally |

That is great Sally !!!
Did I see somewhere you run? I usually run 3 mi/3x a week but am not planning to do it till my cycle is over. I have two 5K's schedules for Sept so that was another reason I really wanted to do my cycle this month and not next month |

CaTriGirl- No not that I know of. Is it possible to have it and not be aware?
Sally- Yes I feel fine now. I'm down 6lbs as of today. I'm at the weight I easily get to by eating cleaner. So for me the test is what I lose after today. Congrats on being 1lb from your goal! |

I was running last year. I do love it, but it didn't help me lose the weight. I'm not working out regularly during the HCG, but I will probably pick up a little running when I go on maintenance.

![]() ![]() I can't believe that I've lost 6.4 lbs in 12 days (or about 5 lbs from my preload)... I mean that's a pretty good rate even for someone who has 50 lbs total to lose. With normal dieting (even LC) once you are down to the last 5-10 the loss slows. This HCG is amazing! ![]() ![]() |

I was just asking because I have it. Before this diet, if I didn't eat every three hours, I would feel that way. Amazingly, I haven't on this diet!
It will get better once the hcg gets in your system, until then, you may want to break up your food throughout the day. You may think about slightly increasing your dose if it doesn't get better. |

It's 3:45pm and I'm pretty hungry... more than usual. I chopped up a little bit of cucumber I have at work and eating it with salt & pepper.
I'm afraid my body is messing with me! I hope I can stay strong for a little while longer.... ![]() |

VLCD5 -.04
I had tomatos for the 1st time yesterday and also got a little sunburn. Not sure if thats why I lost less or it could be cause I have less to lose. Not really worried about it. Sally, If your still hungry today maybe you have already lost all your abnormal fat and its time to up your calories. How have you done in losing inches? |

That's fantastic you have a flat tummy. If this diet doesn't help me with that, I'm getting a tummy tuck! I loved the eggs too. |

VLCD6 -1lb. My mom is coming this weekend for my birthday. We will be going out to dinner Saturday night. I'm going to have a filet. I have been wanting some beef for days now! If it doesn't stall me I'm adding it in a couple days a week.
Sally, Has that final pound left yet? Have a great weekend everyone! |

WOOT is right! Are you calling goal?
Now, you have to stay on protocol for the remaining days. Do you think your losses will stop? I guess they would have to if you don't have any more abnormal fat, right? I read P&I and it says that once your abnormal fat stores are gone, you may feel weak because you aren't releasing the calories, but how can you stay on VLCD if you are out of fat stores, but still remain on the protocol for the specified period? /confused |

Hi catzrule (totally love and agree with your name
)My goal is 100, so I'm basically there but I want to see that EXACT # on the scale (silly, I know). Yes, I will stay on the drops per the protocol. In the book, he says to raise your calories to 800-1000. Unfortunately, he doesn't give a guideline of HOW to do that, and I haven't came across anyone who has done this. What I plan to do is : 1. increase protein- 1 oz each meal for a couple days 2. More veggies, and mix two different ones for the next couple days 3. Introduce a TINY bit (1 tsp) of fat (oil/vinegar salad dressing, butter, heavy cream) a day. Hopefully I will increase gradually enough to maintain, and by then it will be time for P3 ![]() |

Woo hooo! Sally you are there!
Let out a big breath when you are on the scale and I'm sure it will be 100.00 ![]() From what I've read, you are right on target for how you plan to increase calories. Increasing lean protein is very important. Way to go!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

My family just left so time to get everything back to normal around the house!
I lost 1lb yesterday VLCD7 and today I was down .4. We did go out to dinner last night and I had a filet and probably a little more than 3.5oz. I did pass on the birthday cake they brought me. It looked so good. I really didn't miss it though. The filet more than made up for the cake. I was feeling slightly hungry all day but after dinner I felt great and still do today. I may up my protein a little and add beef. |

Hi Friends!
Kandi, great job!! ![]() In spite of having some popcorn at the movies last night, I am down .2 lb! I'm soooo close! I am so thrilled about HCG and how well it works for so many!I'm looking toward P3 and a little worried. What I am doing is to make at least 5 days of a food plan, so I make sure I'm reintroducing food in a cautious manner and I can watch for any intolerances. |
