Because I have changed my mind (again) and I am going to start loading tomorrow!! My vacation is just with my mother and my son and it is going to be really low key, not really eating out or anything. No one really has the $ to spend eating out the whole time anyway. So I spoke with my mom about it to make sure she understood if I start this before we go how strict I'm going to have to be so not to be disappointed if I don't go to dinner or don't want to eat certain things. I have a week to plan and cook what I need to take with me so that is what I am going to do. I just really hate the post-vacation bloat and don't want to come home with 5+ more pounds to lose. Plus, ever since I realized we have these loading days at the beginning, I've been somewhat "loading" everyday, lol. I can't seem to get my diet back to where it was before, which I know is just mental. So I don't want to spend the next two weeks "loading" and have even more weight to take off. So that's where I'm at with this. I've firmly made up my mind to start tomorrow and not stray one bit. I'm taking my scales with me too! One for the kitchen and one for me so I can stay on track. I feel good about my decision and I'm excited to get started!!

I think you've made a sound decision.I was going to wait until after our State Fair to start. We have always been fair=food people and it is one of the highlights of the summer.I got to thinking about it and there is always something.Granddaughters Birthday in August,Labor Day weekend,My Birthday October,Holiday Season right after...geesh at that rate I'd never start.I decided if My priority was to lose weight I'd have to hang the other stuff...I also found a way to make my load days Labor Day Weekend and My BdayI'll be in P3 for granddaughters birthday so lots of good food/choices on that.
I have LOVED this plan so far16.5lbs in 13 days.I was hungry, cranky, achy, fatigued, the 1st 2-3 days so know it is normal if that happens to you. Some have little to no detox but I did.I feel GREAT now, better than ever.Lots of good people here to support you.Looking forward to seeing you on the Hcg threads. Kim

Thanks so much! I was worried everyone would just be so about me. Don't really know why I was worried about that, I guess I just want everyone's support-not negativity-about deciding to go on to do this now instead of waiting. So thanks again!

I don't blame you one bit! Go for it! Your reasoning makes perfect sense.

Thanks so much Kim!!! And I totally agree with you about the fact that there is ALWAYS SOMETHING!! The vacation was the only thing holding me back, but if I had to do a vacation while on this diet the one I'm about to go on is the best one I could do. Staying in a condo, and hanging out on a beach. I'll be able to cook my own meals and being on the beach will keep me occupied during the day to not think about eating. Thanks again for your support. I'll be posting my progress for sure!!

Everyone is really supportive here, don't worry about that!

You have to do what you think is best for your situation. You weighed your options and I think I would have come to the same conclusion as you. Therefore, I think you made the right decision.

I switched to Dial.

I wanted to ask you if you are going to do this. I have the same cortisol and insulin resistance that you have and this is working really well for me. Also, I feel awesome on this diet.

Re: the cortisol - my doc told me to do non-stressing workouts like yoga and very light cardio. Nothing really strenuous because my body will just produce more cortisol if I do.

Thank you for the info! OMG I feel bad now for dissing yoga all these years. I was always like wth how does that even remotely affect weight loss???? LOL. I get it now. It makes sense now - i was at my highest body fat when I was swimming semi-competatively and training 6 days a week.

Yeah I was gonna do this a month ago but I thought I had a thyroid issue, so I stopped the drops after 2 days. I didn't really 'load" well or anything, but seriously when I took the drops the thought of food just wasn't even remotely appealing. It reminded me of when I took Adderall. I don't doubt the appetite suppression is amazing I'm just lazy and this seems like so much prep work.

But, like I've been telling myself, for the past 2 or 3 years I've been eating the most mundane ridiculous boring crap because I'm too lazy to cook anyway, so the food limitations really in theory don't bother me. lol.

I'm still so skeptical after my past year tho. I feel like nothing at all ever is going to work and I'm just stuck here. I can't believe I gained SO MUCH working with a trainer.
