Simeons HCG protocol--July 2010

Though we know everyone wants to help support people through the Simeon's Protocol (HCG) diet, we recommend you consult a physician before starting any diet plan. Since no one can possibly know the medical history of the members here, dispensing medical advice is not allowed. This is for the protection of both the member giving the advice as well as the member receiving the advice. LCF wants to keep everyone safe. We would also like to point out that hCG is a controlled substance and requires a doctor's written prescription. Online sales of hCG may be illegal in some states. Therefore, we must request that you not post where or how you are obtaining your hCG products. Our ToS state "any material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, result in civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law is prohibited." We recommend you re-read our ToS to familiarize yourself with the LCF rules.

Someone said something about walden farms on the June thread.... I bought the honey dijon last weekend and I gagged when trying to eat it on my spinach. Could have just been the flavor I got but I won't be wasting my money on it again. I couldn't even get down one bite for some reason. It had a pretty foul taste. I would love to have used it on my chicken as dipping sauce too but oh well! Boring stuff for me but only for 3 more weeks !!!

Yeah, I think I'm going to skip the Walden Farms stuff, maybe just use lemon and mustard?

good morning ladies!

well, its my first official vlcd day. i only did one official day of loading since i've been eating lc/high fat for a month.
with the loading and my pms weight (tom should come any day ) i was at 145 this a.m., up about 3-4 pounds from a few days ago. hopefully this comes off fast, that's a hard number to see considering i saw 138 just last week. i'm having faith in this though. i'm going to do 39 days of the vlcd i believe, i would be happy to get down to 130, thrilled to get to 125. we shall see.

i expected to be ravenous this morning, but i'm just not. i was going to bring a fruit for breakfast, but i don't want to waste it when i'm not even hungry...i'd rather save it for later when i probably will be. so just water with lots of lemons for me this morning.

I cannot eat the Walden Farms products because none of them taste good to me. I have unopened bottles in the fridge and I just cannot stand to try anymore.

I do like salsa on my salads. It is easy to make from scratch.

I am down 37 pounds.

Down to 180.6 this morning. 4 pounds gone this week...whoohooo! Happy July everyone. Today is sister's birthday who is 5'9 and weighs a whopping 125 soaking wet. She got her first modeling job yesterday so I am very happy for her. It's hard to believe that we are sisters because our bodies are so different. I am 5'7 and I can smell something and gain weight practically. She eats like a horse and complains she can not gain weight...what happened LOL.

alright so R1P2D3

weight remained the same as yesterday so i'm at .6 above LDW. I haven't seen Bernice which is unheard of for me! LOL. I'm going out of town this weekend for the holiday weekend. We are grilling burgers, sausage, chicken and a brisket, so i'm not particularly worried. i'm going to pack my own scale because the scale at my mom's house is not digital and i will just make it say what i want it to say lol.

Hi, girls! I have been following you (i.e. stalking) the last week or so on last month's thread. I have my hhcg and will start just as soon as TOM comes and goes (anytime now!). I have learned a lot by reading your last thread. I have read and re-read P&I several times and see a couple more reads of the key parts in the coming days.

thin - are you using regular mustard or mustard seasoning? Just curious to know if we can use regular mustard. I don't remember reading that anywhere but I am doing my first round and do not have everything memorized yet. It would be great if I could use regular mustard!!! That would help with the chicken since I feel like I'm going to turn into one....

There are lots of yummy recipes here and on other sites that include dips, dressings, sauces, etc. No reason to be bored or eat crap.

This is one is good:

Sweet and Spicy Mustard Dressing
2 tablespoons sf mustard
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Bragg’s liquid aminos
Pinch of turmeric
1 clove garlic finely minced
1 tablespoon minced onion
Stevia to taste
Water to desired consistency

Dissolve spices in liquid ingredients.

Mix thoroughly and heat slightly in a saucepan.

Add a little water or extra vinegar to create desired consistency.

Makes 1-2 servings

I use both mustards also (but I check the ingredients for sugars). My co-workers look at me like I am crazy when I use brown mustard on salads.

OKAY DRUM ROLL PLEEEEZE!!!!!!

After Day1 of VLCD I released...................................4.5 freakin pounds

Now 2.5 were from the load days, but it took 2 more with it!!!!

Now I'm a happy girl, and the headache yesterday was well worth it.

So I am going camping in a few hours, and I will not have my scale with me, so I'm expecting a big woosh by Tuesday morning!

Correction day.....
SHARON, here's Gracie's shake day post:

When I want to do a shake day, I eliminate all foods except for 3 shakes.

I blend 1 scoop of protein powder, 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk and two eggs.
For the last shake of the day, I eliminate the eggs, and just have the protein powder and unsweetened almond milk.

It is very satisfying because of the protein/fat ratio. I also like to buy a good quality of whey protein powder......I use either Champion Whey Banana Scream or Isopure Cookies and Cream. Right now am using Isopure.

I've also done modified days which includes two shakes and then dinner will be protein, veggies and salad......that works for me when I want to just watch my eating a bit more carefully.

I've been using protein powder for years, but never really had them for the entire day, and thought I'd try it and see how they would work......and, they do, at least for me.........they're also good if your hunger is lacking but you need your nutrient
