Trying not to be disheartened today. Still at 158.0. TOM still not really here. Just spotting, and who knows how long that can continue. I am sticking to the plan like glue and it really sucks not to see any results day after day
![]() You would think that after not having TOM since April that the damn thing would just start already. It is still a little hard to believe, as I am only 44. sigh..... What hormone is it that gets TOM started? Is there some kind of topical cream that can jump start it? I am really getting impatient. And I am deathly afraid to wear any light colored pants for fear that when it does finally start it will be a flood. |

Good morning gang. I had a 2lb release this morning putting me back to my all time low
![]() I'm going to play around with the mustard/splenda idea and see if I can come up with a mix I like enough for salads. That's all I'm really missing is a salad dressing. I don't need the choc etc for strawberries since I love them plain and I'm afraid that would just trigger a sweet tooth for me. Tomorrow we are headed to the lake. I have some beef cooked that I'll eat with a dill pickle and an apple. I am taking a Diet 7up with me

I have actually not been eating the fruit really, I am not much of a fruit eater. Maybe over the weekend. I am concerned that without any protein I might not function well at work, but if it is on the weekend I could probably swing it OK. We have to go out to dinner for DD's b-day tomorrow night -- of course she picked somewhere that is not going to be easy, but if I have to pay $15 for them to bring me a plain chicken breast and some plain sliced tomatoes or lettuce leaves, that is what I will do. So perhaps I can do an apple day on Sunday. If I still haven't broken this stall, that is probably what I will do. |

LOL..believe it or not, I go to the market each day just to get a lovely coffee and walk around the store for an hour or so to get a little exercise out of the heat and feel like I got out of my house
It's fantastic. I love coffee but have no skills in making it. I can bake, cook and entertain but make coffee? never! Doesn't matter what maker I get or what beans I buy so this is my daily indulgence. It's fantastic on this plan. |

Course today I thought I should skip a day, since I'm going longer than 23, and I can really detect much more hunger. I think it takes awhile to build up in your system. |

Our bodies are so much alike and we have like the same issues!!! I am losing better eating more beef. Maybe due to eating grass fed beef. Chicken, fish and shrimp leaves me feeling hungry too fast............. |

Down .2 today. I little dissappointed but I know of 2 things that went wrong. I didn't eat until 8:45 last night and my daughter had me put some A&D ointment on her sunburn. I am not sure I should have touched that stuff.

Thanks for the info! I will be so tired of chicken, but I am set on doing chicken only until I can start losing constantly again. The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that eating 93% may be my problem. Before I discovered the chili (and became hooked), I ate eye of round, trimmed of all visible fat, and was losing just fine and dandy. I have made the chili with chopped beef and lost the next day. Beef is my meat of choice - I like my meat to be herbivorous.

I decided to skip the grissini when I ran out because it was the one food in my house that was always 'calling my name'. Knowing myself, I was/am afraid that one day I'd have a bad scale day and dive in and eat them up
So, decided to remove the temptation. I'm getting plenty of carbs from my apples ![]() |

So Greek dinner is off tonight - a bit disappointing but something of a relief as well. I could have done it, but prefer to stay away from the temptation kthnxbai.
I'm feeling particularly ravenous now and I know why: I'm thirsty. I've been drinking 20oz of water during lunch but it's been interfering with my job (too many potty breaks) so today I cut it out until last break. I also Could Not stomach my spinach today - ate the other half of my protein and all my apples for lunch. I need to figure out a veggie beside spinach and (expensive!) asparagus - I think I need to come up with some additional cucumber uses. Slider perhaps? *ponders the possibilities*

I like diced celery stir fried in some seasonings. Liquid aminos is good for this because it tastes like soy sauce. Add some fresh garlic and pepper. Delish.

Wow, I completely forgot about celery! Hmm... anyone know the recipe to a "Dizzy Salad" (or something to that effect)? I think that's the apple and celery one...

Sassy, I don't know what your budget is for your veggies but at Safeway they have frozen asparagus spears 8 oz. bags in steamable bags for 1.49 when you buy 4 bags. I divide them into 4 oz portions, so .75 for my veggie portion per meal. Since they are already trimmed, in a steamer bag, etc. I think that's a fair price.
