The thing I see wrong with NOT weighing every day is that you will not notice if any foods are stalling you or not good for you. But if you can stay away, all the more power to ya. It is killing me to step on the scale every single day and not know if it will be up or down. It is kinda a bad thing in P3/P4. But again, you have to do it if you want to maintain. I so do know how you feel about that scale. I feel pretty nutso right about now!!! But it is all I have to go by for what and how to eat in P4.

I have lost 20 pounds doing HCG, so I know it works, but I have been fighting myself losing anymore!
So, I told my husband I was not planning our vacation until I lose 20 more pounds! A little more of a motivation for me and now he is helping me more.
I really want to do this and I know I can!

So today I am eating:
Iced coffee....(I love the starbucks summer blend)
L: hamburger and a hcg taco salad seasoning on top of lettuce
strawberries for snack
D: chicken and salad with WF Balsamic dressing (love it)
apple with stevia and cinnamon for snack

And lots of water!
I love the Gazebo coffee too!! Great for the morning! Made some for DH and me just this morning! I just finished my iced coffee from Starbucks too. So glad I can just bring it home, though. If I had to pay.....I might second guess what I was buying!! It can get expensive

So you like the WF balsamic dressing?? Great to know!! I hated every one I tried, but didn't want to shell out a whole lot of money to find one I did eventually liked. Gave up after just a few of them.

I am having trouble getting my veggies in. I just don't feel like eating them. I don't know if I am just sick of them or what.
What day are you on? I got soooo tired of the veggies at the end of my rounds I began to cut them out. The good doctor says you can omit what you wish. They are not mandatory. The only thing I would absolutely not skip is the protein. I have heard that is the most important part of this plan.

When I did my last apple day I got in 16 oz of water---just enough to take my necessary vitamins with. I could not believe that would be the hardest part of the apple day. But it was very difficult to do without water. Esp when you are used to at least 3 32 oz of water daily!!

I am on day 10 and plan to do a long round. I am going to try some of the recipes tonight (like the chili) to see if that makes it better. One day I didn't eat all of my protein, but other than that I make sure I eat it all.

Wow!! Then best to learn to like them!! You have 30 days left. Once I found out how to cook some of them it got to be much better. Never had radishes cooked before but did enjoy them once I tried! And I know I didn't like celery, but when I cooked the celery forever in the chicken broth/water it tasted like nothing and I was able to choke it down. Thank goodness there are recipes to try and see if we can make these foods taste better.

Bigbutt, I'm doing a 40 day round, too. . Love the idea of celery in chicken broth, Dawn. I got some of that Pacific Organic low sodium broth sitting around.

I did an apple day and lost 2.4. I am so glad to get the scale moving again!

Awesome. What day are you on?

I like celery stir fried with liquid aminos, but might try the broth for a different taste.

Awesome loss on your apple day!

I can not believe this. I am on R1VLCD3 and who'd a thunk it????

I fixed my lunch last night.... I was pretty ravenous before lunch..... ate lunch and could not finish everything. I am stuffed to the gills. I can't believe it. I feel like I had to have gained weight by how I feel.

I guess the scale in the morning will tell the tale though.

Question: Beef..... I find it pretty difficult to have BEEF and still stay at the 500 calorie limit. What's the trick?

Lean beef I'll be right back. I found a chart that was helpful to me in my selections.

Dang it. Thought I saved it. Off to search some more. The beef its whats for dinner site has a printable wallet card for lean cuts.

Yes I love the balsamic one! I even dip my meat in the dressing. I have had the chicken bacon ranch and it was okay. I was not crazy about the blue cheese. In fact on my taco salad I don't even put any dressing...just the hcg taco seasoning that I found. My mom was a little worried about it too but she really likes the balsamic dressing.

I am not a big veggie person either. I like salads, the fire roasted tomatoes for the p2 chili, and I like to make the "dizzy salad recipe" with celery, apples and chicken.

I just picked up some of the WF balsamic figuring it was the one they could ruin the least. The ranch was so foul, I couldn't get it down. Made a decent marinade for chicken, though. The honey dijon isn't too horrible. But I have high hopes for the balsamic. Will know better after dinner tonight.

I hope you like it! I do, it is really the only one I buy anymore. I wish I could find the pancake syrup. (my store doesn't carry it)

Ok, go here: http://www.beefitswhatsfordinner.com...rleancuts.aspx

Look to the left and you can print out a wallet card that has the beef info on it from the beef council.

The 'posh' Publix store by where I work has some of the WF stuff at not too bad prices. I saw some of the pancake syrup, but couldn't for the life of me figure out what I'd do with it. Picked up the balsamic dressing and the caramel dip. I KNOW I love the caramel dip, because I finished it off after I quit the hcg last time.

The maple flavored syrup is wonderful in coffee or to sweeten meat marinades

Just a quick note: On P2 I have slipped in a few diet drinks. Shhh..don't tell!!! I tried only having it if I were out and to avoid going off plan. I don't think a Diet 7up will kill ya. Best not to have it every day, just on occasion.
