netrition has them and they have a web site but i believe they are more expensive there than at netrition

dipping your apples in that chocolate dip is YUMMY! and a little of that peanut butter spread on your melba really seems like cheating!

in our food city they are in a special diet section and the only other place i have seen them besides online has been a heath food store and it was around the stevia and almond flour and stuff i don't think they had their stuff organized by category!

WOW Look at everyone go.... Great Losses Ladies!

I am excited that today on VCLD5 I am down 10.5!!! This is with camping over the weekend, I am amazed. I have to admit it was hard not to cheat seeing all the yummy foods my family ate, but I am so glad I stuck to Protocol! Most the hunger feeling was in my head. I feel much better today.

One question.... If I do not eat an apple at a meal, can I have more of the veggies with my meal?

So far everything is going smoothly and I am very happy with this plan.

speaking of wf products...
last night i mde dh some kohlrabi cakes...kinda like a potato pancake. he asked what he should put on it. I put ketchup and butter on the table, thinking he'd go for the ketchup. he did the butter, and than said...."this would be really good with syrup"....so, i whipped out the wf pancake syrup and nuked some up. IT WAS A HIT!!! Now, why have I not used that to dip my chicken in??
all of the wf salad dressings....i just cannot gag down. but the things I do like are..

the ketchup (i mix with horseradish for shrimp sauce)

the pancake syrup (really good when used in the oopsie recipee...makes an awesome breakfast bun)

the chocolate syrup

the caramel spread (i have only used in egg creams tho)

the peanut spread (i used in a low carb fudge recipee to really knock the carbs down...it was excellent!!)

back in "kimkins" days....i used the fruit spreads..sauted chicken in the peach one. it was just...ok. maybe if it was tweaked a little more it would be better.

Question--how many of you go back to using splenda products like davincis when you are out of P2? I ask because I have TONS of sf davinci flavors and do not want to pitch them because splenda isn't allowed on P2...thoughts?

I do!! I work at Starbucks and I have not stopped using our coffee flavoring syrups during P2!! They are what have kept me out of the more damaging drinks we make!!! I would not have made it through P2 without them. I also make my raspberry lemonade on P2 with the Davinci's SF raspberry syrup. It is awesome--just take a whole lemon (I like to keep the pulp--not the outer rind that you peel away (that I save for my garbage disposal), but the outer layer of the lemon pulp for the fiber) put it with some ice, water and a bit of the raspberry syrup and blend it all. Nice and refreshing!!! So to answer your question---I use them in P2 and once I get out I also use them. So go ahead and use them. Do not throw away all that cash!!!!

Where are you losing?

Hello Everyone,

I'm enjoying the thread so much I just wanted to say thank you all for sharing your experiences with the rest of us.

I'm not able to start my first round till middle of August due to vacation and TOM so I'm impatient to say the least..lol But I am doing a lot of reading and trying to educate myself so I'll be ready.

I'm currently on lc and I'm doing ok with that...though I am jealous...I lose 1.4 in a week and some of you are doing that in a day..lol

Anyway....my question is this. Where do you notice the weight loss the most? Is it an all over loss or is there a specific area that you are noticing it more?

Thanks!
Colleen

That is fantastic!!! Way to go!!!!! That is an amazing start!!! As for your question--I have never personally skipped my fruit. I am a sweets girl and would rather forgo my veggies!! But as long as you don't go over the 500 calorie limit you should be fine.

I just got the summer coffee but I was really looking for a cold brew coffee that doesn't have sugar in it since my coffee pot is so small. I like the summer coffee !

That raspberry lemonade sounds good - I am going to try it for sure.

YAY!!! That lemonade sounds AMAZING!!! I think I will make some later! Too bad I went ahead and ordered some of the flavored stevias but I can still use those in stuff where I don't want to add as much liquid as you do with the davincis. Thanks Dawn!!

Ugggh I can't wait to start this diet already! TOM is kicking my rear, cramps from hell, and we've had a lot going on the past couple days and in the coming week or so.

So, if TOM started yesterday, today is the cramps from hell day.....and tomorrow it should be better and much better by Wed. When should I start my 2 loading days?

The more I think about it, the more I want to start my loading days tomorrow. Is it too soon considering TOM just started yesterday morning? (TOM is usually about 5 days, just the first 2 or 3 heavy)

Opinions??

I only had a about 20 pounds or so to lose when I started, and I got rid of a solid 16 of those. I lost everywhere, pretty evenly. My back fat is gone, my belly is much thinner, waist is almost gone. I'd say the last 4-5 pounds are hanging out in my love handles, thighs, tummy. I lost inches in my arms, chest (but that was back fat, lol), waist, hips, butt, thighs, everywhere! The girls didn't shrink, but I think they evened out (not so lopsided anymore). I'm in my first week of P3 and holding strong at 124. I am enjoying the break from vlcd but plan on doing one more round to lose the last few pounds and reshape at the end of August. It's a great protocol!
