Released 1.8 pounds this morning for a total for 2.5 since my higher loading day!!!

Hoping for less hunger today and may take my second dose 9-10 hours after my first rather than 12 if I am getting hungry. Yesterday I was also able to still do my 2 mile walk with my dog without feeling faint or anything so that was awesome!

HAY - AWESOME release! 3 lb is AMAZING! You're going to reach your goal in no time!

3rd Time is the Charm?

Hi again, everyone:
I'm so embarrassed to be posting this, but I am back again. I lost 13 pounds last August/September - got frustrated with P3, gave up and regained it all. Then April/May I lost 16 pounds, was doing well on P3, and my dad had a stroke and during his time in the hospital it was discovered he has a thoracic aortic aneurysm and they won't operate because he is 80 and very frail. He had a long period in a convalescent facility and I didn't handle the stress well. SO, I am hoping this 3rd time will be the time I find success. I wasn't going to post anymore because I keep failing, but the support here is so wonderful and helpful that I don't want to be without it. Loading today and tomorrow; looking forward to VLCD1 on Monday. Instead of the usual three week round I'm going to try for 40 days, as there is a big family wedding in August. Thanks for all the great advice you all post - it really helps!

Just checking in... waiting impatiently for my drops to arrive. I'm still excited about this, but kinda nervous as I'm a Paula Deen type cook.

Mork.. I was the same way re. the drops. You got good advice above. Google.

Congrats to the losers.

Deb... did you get my facebook msg?

Doxie... I'm sorry about your dad. Nothing worse than having a sick loved one.

Also, I did read the entire protocal but WOW! A lot of info. Now, is Kevin Trudeaus book a little easier to understand? Should I be getting that book too?

Go for it, looks fine! Apple cider vinegar is good for sunburns too if you don't mind smelling like a salad!

I'm supposed to be on my second day of P4, and yet there isn't a single carb I want to eat. I had a low carb pita for breakfast and that's as far as I've gotten. I want to eat some carbs, SOMETHING, just cause I want to be able to have the choice!

And, in the future, I want to have an option of lowering carbs to drop a pound or two.

But, I think of potatoes, and my stomach tightens up. Same with bread, pasta, chips. I don't want anything sweet.

I'm going to a barbecue tomorrow and will try to nibble at some things. Hopefully not overly processed things.

The host asked me to bring "something starchy" as a side, but I refused! (We're very good friends; I can be like that!) I'm bringing a sugar free homemade coleslaw and a tomato/onion salad.

I am also bringing a sweet that I can't eat - grilled peaches (with butter, vanilla, brown sugar, sea salt) served with amaretto whipped cream.

I thought of it as a dessert I'd like to try till I got "the bloat" earlier this week from peaches. But, I'd already said that was what I was bringing, so maybe I'll just try a tiny nibble??

WOE: VSG 75 lbs. down and expecting baby 6/2013! :)
My spray arrived yesterday, but they were pretty warm from being in the mailbox for a couple hrs. I hope they're still good!

I bought some raw chicken breasts, some tenders, and a couple packs of frozen halibut. Can someone please tell me if 113 grams per serving of the fish would be OK? The nutrition label says each piece is approx. 113 grams. I don't want to go cuttin' up the fish fillets y'all! Also, anybody know of frozen raw meat weighs the same as fresh??

Oh, I also found some light Wasa crackers that are just 20 cals for a whole cracker! They also have seven grains so I thought that would be the perfect starch to use for P2, so my body would be used to eating all those different grains and not become too sensitive to one.

Victrola, have you tried Ezekiel bread? The seseme flavor is wonderful toasted with real butter, (especially Kerrygold, YUM). It's really good for you too since it's no flour and all sprouted grains.

Something strange is going on with me. When I made up my mind to start HHCG, from what I read I would be most successful if I wait to start until after my TOM. So I've been very relaxed about my food choices, just trying to maintain until I can start the diet. I have found it so freeing! I can't even remember the last time I was just eating what I wanted in moderation. I am always either strict low carb or all out binging on junk foods. I am really enjoying this time right now, getting my mind ready to start.

ETA... Sorry for all the posts!

that feeling is very freeing. that is the main reason i just want to get back down to my fightin' weight - once i'm there, i'm pretty easily able to maintain and eat in moderation with intuitive eating principles. but once i got back from my european trip last summer, i moved, ended school, started a full time job, broke up with a boyfriend, etc - ALL AT ONCE. i just spiraled out of control with eating, putting me up 20 lbs. i know once i lose this excess weight, i'll be able to maintain relatively easily...its just a matter of losing it.

HONESTLY I THINK THE FROZEN ONES MAY BE HEAVIER BECAUSE OF THE ICE SO TRY IT ONCE OR TWICE IF YOU HAVE A STALL OR GAIN THEN TRIM THEM

Are you sure about the wasa calorie count?? I ate wasa also and had to eat only half the cracker because a whole cracker was 40 calories.

Wasa or melba crackers can vary in size, depending on brand/type. Because of that, the calorie counts will vary also. I recall the melba toast from my childhood being rectangular crackers that were 2-3 times the size of the melba round snacks that most people find in stores today.

This is a different kind of Wasa, it's called 'crisp n light' and says 60 cals for 3 crackers. They are the same size as all the other kinds of Wasa cracker, so just 20 cals each!

Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a long, LONG time, but I have been lurking! I am currently on Day 17 R3P2. I can't say enough good things about this protocol! I love it and I have never had such great results with any other diet or WOE. I weighed-in at 178.8 this morning, and realized that I am only 18.8 lbs away from my goal weight of 160! I know that I won't make it there this round, because I only have a week left...but at least I can (hopefully) get closer to 170 by the time I start P3! I will do 3 weeks of P3, then maybe cycle back into a 4th and final round of P2. I am scared to do P4, because I am leery of allowing carbs and sugar to pass my lips and settle on my hips! Although, I know that I'm going to have to risk it someday...
It looks like everyone is doing great, and I love the support that is offered here!
BTW-does anyone know what happened to AshliMartini? Not sure if I spelled that correctly...

ac cup of half coffee half HWC plus a giant slice of brownie cheesecake made a good start
EXACTLY at LDW to start my 5th round! 291.2
i am just blown away by that hope to stabilize that well this round too

Hi Debbie I am wanting you and your family to know I am sorry for your lost of your fur baby, our animals become so much a part of our family I feel your pain Deb

You are starting out great at your LDW and brownie cheesecake can't get much better than that 15 pounds sounds like a reasonable goal you will make . I am happy for your success Deb !

I hope I can start to stabilize better like you this round without doing a correction every few days. I am trying too making my potions smaller,.6 over my LDW today which I am very pleased with ,dropped 3 pounds keeping my calories down( I don't usually do that ) with potion control .

Blessing to you and yours

KT was jailed this year for contempt of court. In 2004, he was banned from making any new books or other media FOR LIFE. He has been convicted of fraud many times. Please don't give him any more money !

If you found his book at Goodwill or a yard sale for a couple of bucks I'd say pick it up. I did and found it to be helpful.

But The Protocol is entirely doable without his book...especially when you have this forum!

He stands up for what he believes in and I admire that. He takes a stand against the powers that be, the powers that take away our health rights and options. I have read his books, watched his infommercials and think he is RIGHT ON and I hope he continues to fight the fight!! If you don't want to buy his books, then I'm sure your local library has them.
