As far as transitioning from P2 into P3, I was advised not to do it too close to TOM. I'm guessing the hormones can cause problems. I was told (not on this site I don't think) to make sure I was eating P3 for at least 5 days before TOM or to wait till TOM had been gone for 3 days before eating P3.

Oh, and I believe you are supposed to do a minimum of 23 days (2 loading days, and 21 of vlcd) before transitioning into P3.
Thank you HCground1 the way you explained it really makes sense!

FYI, still waiting for TOM to come. On the dot at 25 days for 10 months out of 12...but when I'm ready to start something new... it doesn't show it's face!

I guess it's okay if it's slow and I end up loading over the weekend. Then maybe with an active workday, I won't be too hungry.

Down 2.4 pounds today!! That makes up for the 0.4 pounds I was up yesterday. I was nearly jumping in the bathroom this morning when I saw that number on the scale. I'm sure every day won't be like that...but I'll take what I can get now!

i've read a lot that some days you'll have big jumps like this to help average out the not-so-great days. i hear this is more normal than consistently losing .5 everyday.

anybody experience cramping? I'm on VLCD11 and woke up with menstral like cramping, which I don't get normally get with menstration, and my TOM is about a week away? Is this just a possible side effect of HHCG? With that the scale has stayed the same the past couple of days, I am weighing in a couple of hours earlier than usual, so I'll go back an check later too.

Down another 1.9 lbs! 9.1 lbs down, beginning VLCD5. Another couple of pounds, and I will be in uncharted territory for me in the last few years.

Survived a birthday party last night without even looking at the cake - didn't even remotely seem "worth it" to me, which is really a good mind set for me and one I don't often have.

I assume when TOM leaves, my losses will even out (I retain a lot of water during TOM), but I feel so much lighter!

Wow, you all are doing so great!

Today is P2 day #1 for me, eeeek! I'm nervous and the spray must be working because after I took it this morning, (3rd dose), I am nausious, (sp?). Anybody get that on HHCG?

I've got my chicken and fish weighed and thawing in the fridge for later, but I feel like I can't stomach the thought of eating after yesterdays fat gorging. I was up .6 from yesterday, so not too bad. Let the losing begin!

Does anyone have a problem eating Halibut on P2? I bought it because it was the lowest fat of all the frozen fish at the store, (even tilapia!). But now I read that it is not for P2? Why not??

Hay, I know you are an exerciser. Are you doing the same workouts on your vlcd days as you did before you started the protocol? How is that going for you? I'm on week 5 of couch to 5k and I would like to continue with the program.

I'm going to shop today for the fat loading days and buy the melbas and fruits. I have my proteins already portioned (4- 3.5 oz pieces per baggie) and in the freezer so I can defrost a few days' worth at a time.

I plan on starting my loading tomorrow!

CONGRATS ON ONEDERLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had exactly the experience Hay mentioned just below your post...I am on VLCD6 and these have been my losses:

VLCD1: -0.7
VLCD2: -1.8
VLCD3: -0.1
VLCD4: -2.0
VLCD5: -0.3
VLCD6: -1.8

So for me the "clumping" is normal! I have always been a "clumper" and on normal diets that would mean losing nothing for like a month and then losing 10 lb the next month, so on the hCG is looks like my flip-flopping is just going to be closer together! Fine by me as long as I'm going the right direction!!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ONEDERLADY!!!

I definitely have been experiencing cramps! TOM ended the day before I loaded and I am on VLCD6 so not even close to ready for another. I haven't started or anything and the cramps seem to be better today, but I definitely think it's related (I am on rx hCG).

i had full blown morning sickness one morning my DH was cause we are both 42! LOL had to pull the car over on a busy interstate and everything but it was only that one time when we first started

is halibut a white fish?? i have used tilapia mostly because it is convenient and comes already portioned just about perfectly and individually frozen(big box from walmart) i say try it one day and then if no gain for the next 2 days it might be alright

I am a major exerciser and have continued with a portion of my normal routine. I typically walk my day 2 miles a day plus 1-2 hours at the gym split between cardio and resistance training. I think I am going to lay of resistance for now, but I have still been doing the cardio and walking my pup. Just make sure you don't push it too hard if you're feeling kinda wonky in the beginning!
