I was told 6 months opened (longer if stored in the fridge) or 5 year unopened.

I'm up 2.2 today. I don't know what went wrong. I had charcoal-grilled chicken and cucumbers for both meals, my grissini, an orange at lunch and an apple at dinner. Nothing was different, and I consumed nothing else.

Is this a sign that I should end this round?

My drops came yesterday!!! I am so excited, wish I could start today, but realistically I have 3 BIG events that would make it so difficult that I decided to wait (impatiently) until Aug. 20

My drops say 6 drops, 6x/day. I thought some of you tried doing 12 drops 3x/day? Anyone do that? It would be so much easier for me to remember 3x/day rather than 6x/day What do you think?

LOL!!! I see you got the same drops I did then! I've been following those instructions but today I was going to try doing them like other bottles say with 7-10 drops 3x a day. My bottle of HCG is 2oz and shows the same ingredients as the others so I'm figuring, what the hey? I'd stick with the bottle's instructions at first though; after my 3-day loading I've had very little hunger and am only changing my dosing pattern out of a tightwad-y mindset, not because I should.

In other news, my waist is down almost half an inch from yesterday!! :geeks out:

1/2 an inch is huge!! Must feel great! I guess what I will do is while I am still at home and it's easier to remember (teacher, start school after Labor Day) 6x/day I will just stick to a time schedule. Then when school starts I will try 3x/day. I am a bit afraid to do anything not protocol

Alright, so this morning the scale showed only .4 loss, down to 213.0lbs which I'll take. I drank a lot of water yesterday, much of that green tea with Truvia; I think I'm retaining water, plus Bernice hasn't shown up yet. Bought myself some Smooth Move but I'm holding off on it until I get multiple days of no BM.

Perhaps we should start a new thread? Happy August!!!

3x a day with a higher dose is still protocol. The hhcg is made by many different companies..some have you dose 3,some 5,or 6.Some say 5 drops, some as much as 20.It is ok to play around and find what works best for you.I dose 3x a day.Morning, noon, and night.I do 12 drops at a time.

Thanks!

P&I says MINIMUM 2 says some people need a week
Quote:
Gain before Loss (Loading)

Patients whose general condition is low, owing to excessive previous dieting, must eat to capacity for about one week before starting treatment, regardless of how much weight they may gain in the process. One cannot keep a patient comfortably on 500 Calories unless his normal fat reserves are reasonably well stocked. It is for this reason also that every case, even those that are actually gaining must eat to capacity of the most fattening food they can get down until they have had the third injection. It is a fundamental mistake to put a patient on 500 Calories as soon as the injections are started, as it seems to take about three injections before abnormally deposited fat begins to circulate and thus become available.

We distinguish between the first three injections, which we call “non-effective” as far as the loss of weight is concerned, and the subsequent injections given while the patient is dieting, which we call “effective”. The average loss of weight is calculated on the number of effective injections and from the weight reached on the day of the third injection which may be well above what it was two days earlier when the first injection was given.

Most patients who have been struggling with diets for years and know how rapidly they gain if they let themselves go are very hard to convince of the absolute necessity of gorging for at least two days, and yet this must he insisted upon categorically if the further course of treatment is to run smoothly. Those patients who have to be put on forced feeding for a week usually gain weight rapidly - four to six pounds in 24 hours is not unusual - but after a day or two this rapid gain generally levels off. In any case, the whole gain is usually lost in the first 48 hours of dieting. It is necessary to proceed in this manner because the gain re-stocks the depleted normal reserves, whereas the subsequent loss is from the abnormal deposits only.

Patients in a satisfactory general condition and those who have not just previously restricted their diet start forced feeding on the day of the first injection. Some patents say that they can no longer overeat because their stomach has shrunk after years of restrictions. While we know that no stomach ever shrinks, we compromise by insisting that they eat frequently of highly concentrated foods such as milk chocolate, pastries with whipped cream sugar, fried meats (particularly pork), eggs and bacon, mayonnaise, bread with thick butter and jam, etc. The time and trouble spent on pressing this point upon incredulous or reluctant patients is always amply rewarded afterwards by the complete absence of those difficulties which patients who have disregarded these instructions are liable to experience.

During the two days of forced feeding from the first to the third injection - many patients are surprised that contrary to their previous experience they do not gain weight and some even lose. The explanation is that in these cases there is a compensatory flow of urine, which drains excessive water from the body. To some extent this seems to be a direct action of HCG, but it may also be due to a higher protein intake, as we know that a protein-deficient diet makes the body retain water.

mine are 15 drops 3x a day worked very well for 3 of us in my family and for several of my friends 15 drops equaled out to half a dropperful so i didn't count after i found that out

So I was idly massaging my upper arms and it occurred to me: I don't have as "much" to massage as I used to. I'm holding off on measuring until at least a week into Protocol but it's AWESOME to feel the difference even 6 days into it!

(except measuring my waist apparently as I've done that a couple times this week lol)

I only lost .2 as of this morning.. but a loss is a loss. After almost a week of no less than 1 pound it is kinda discouraging but I know it goes w/ the territory. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!!

I'm right there with you Kandi, mine today was only .4 and that was after the scale kept bouncing around. I figured this day would come so it doesn't surprise me, but continuing to lose 1lb/day (or more!) would have been so nice.

I don't know if you have trouble when you have the same proteins but maybe that's the problem. How long have you been on the protocol? I have read that small gains are normal, too.
