I've skimmed thru the DR's P&I
I've read the "cliff notes" version
Its written all about the injections
what about us that are going to do drops/sprays?
how many oz is 100 grams?
how long do we wait between phases if we have alot to lose
(I have 64 lbs or more)

100 grams is 3.5 ounces.
Directions are exactly the same for those using homeopathic preparations, except that it only 48 takes hours for homeopathic to clear the system before increasing calories, instead of waiting 72 hours as for injection/sublingual.

After your first 500-calorie round, Dr. S specifies three weeks of no sugar/starch, then three weeks of slowly reintroducing starches before embarking on subsequent rounds.

As explained in P&I, the interval between subsequent rounds gets longer to ensure the body's full response to the HCG round.

Basically, I only take bites of the four meats that I'm supposed to test, and just stick to the program the rest of the time.

Trust me, as much of this stuff as we've cooked, we don't sit around eating it.

The first 3-5 days is the hardest. After that it's just mental.

And you realize more than any diet ever - how social an act eating is. Even if it's just cooking with your significant other - it's quite a change in lifestyle.

I used L-Glutamine powder (if you have a friend close to you it comes in big containers i think - mine did anyway) and put a dab under my tongue when i got hungry.

Do NOT make the mistake I did and drink a lot of fruity tea - it has hidden garbage in it. Drink the water - add some lemon.
:: mutters - i still don't really like water.....but it worked ::

Right now I don't think there are any national places, but the way the clinics are booming in my city, it's just a matter of time. When you do your search online, look for weight loss clinic - most have hcg as an option. You could also try to find a naturopath doctor - they can prescribe hormones. Good luck !
Thank you. I went back in and tried just weight loss clinic to see if anything new popped out but was unsuccessful again. I have medical issues (on blood thinners for past blood clot, was told I can not take any hormone therapy for peri/meno since they think clot came from bc pills, take waterpill for excess fluid retention) so I want to go through a clinic or doctor that deals with this rather than trying to do the drops from a health food store. I go to a D.O. so I am going to see what she thinks the next time I am in there.

If anyone else takes any of the meds I do, and does the HCG, I'd love to hear your experience. I am going to keep following this thread so I can see how everyone does.

If you go to the main thread here, I am sure there are a few people who have similar conditions. I hope your DO is open minded and will help you. Can I ask what city you are in ?

I am in Slidell, outside of New Orleans. I've been doing Atkins for 4 years now. Lost 28 lbs. right off the back and have been sitting at the same weight give or take 5 lbs since then even though I stick with it. Maybe the HCG is what I need to get me moving again. Every time I have been pregnant I have lost weight before gaining, maybe it was the HCG there. I have often joked that maybe I should get pregnant to lose more weight.

I ordered HBO just so I could watch Treme ! Now I have a mini-NOLA addiction ! I weighed less after my son was born than before I got pregnant so I know the hcg works ! I'm going to PM you.

Here are my two questions for all of you:

1)you are not supposed to use any lotions. I am a massage therapist so that would be impossible for me, so basically I would not be able to do it and/or not be as successful?

2)I am trying to figure out why you can't breastfeed while doing it (meaning nursing an older child-not a newborn!- who has table food as nutrition as well). I nursed my son while pregnant with my daughter with no ill-effects. The only thing I can think that would be affected may be supply issues from the low calories.

Nobody may have the answers for me so maybe I'll just get pregnant again, I am one who has lost weight both times I have been pregnant so I guess it works for me!

Thanks, I got the PM. I love Treme also. If you like watching stuff in New Orleans, Real World on MTV started last night and it is set in New Orleans this season.

Hi Katy

1. You could find lotions without oil in them - maybe an unscented baby lotion and then add some perfume to it???

2. I've heard it's because of the very low calorie diet and your milk supply. Also, because you are releasing the stored abnormal fat - you are also releasing built up toxins and you don't want those getting in the milk. How much long are you going to nurse? Is Chloe close to a year now?

I'm thinking your best bet is to just get preggo again But, seriously, Dr. Simeons even states that the best time to lose weight is when you are pregnant!!!

I know we have one example of a loading diet up above somewhere, but can anybody else post what they ate during those days? I'm having trouble imagining just how much I'm supposed to eat (I eat high fat every day, quite low carb). Do you need a bunch of carbs, too, or mainly fat?

In P & I, he mentions bread and butter and pastries, but then mostly fatty things, so I'm a little confused. Do most of you actually eat those on the loading days?

Eat whatever you want basically! Focus on fats but also on anything you know you are going to miss or something you consider a "treat". Here's a sample load day for me.

B: omelet - cheddar cheese, green onions, bacon, sour cream
biscuits w/ sausage gravy
hashbrowns
Snack: chocolate covered macadamia nuts
L: deep dish pizza w/sausage, extra cheese, pepperoni
buffalo wings w/bleu cheese
Snack : ice cream cake
D: avacado
fettucin alfredo
salad w/ranch
Snack: cheesecake

I eat until I can't possibly eat another bite. By the time I'm done I am 100% ready for the 500 calorie days You will learn to look forward to and thoroughly enjoy your loading days!!!

FAT - eat FAT! Whipped cream, avocado, cheese, ribeye, more whip cream. more whip cream.....cheesecake....

I'd concentrate on high fat and not so much on high carb or sugar - it's hard to detox from those - but it's your load - do it however you want.

I had nachos - loaded with sour cream, guac and anything else i could think of

Yes, you need to do AT LEAST two loading days. Don't worry, the weight will come off very quickly. You need to fill-up your fat stores for when you start the vlcd's. Loading is VERY important!!!
