oh and Atkins flu like detox symptoms is one a lot have the first week if they do a higher carb load or have some candidia issues after that i don't remember many and i didn't have the detox symptoms very much

let me see if i can find more

most you find on the web are for the usage of HCG in fertility treatments which are at dosages WAY higher than what we do on hcg

so how do i get started. i know netrition sells the platinum drops. is that ok to start with. is that one bottle gonna take me through the 26 days and the 3 weeks of the p3 you talked about. i want to stop talking about it and do it. like you said, if i dont like it, i can just stop. 26 days is really not that long when it comes to the scheme of things. i have done plenty of stuff that did not work. one size does not fit all, but at least we can try it on for size. at leat i wont have to say, what if. what should i do. i am not too bright, so please tell me the easiest and best way to get moving. thanks.

Congrats. I have been on some of the same diet threads as you but didn't post very often. Did a bunch of reading though. Also, I have tried every darn thing there is to loose wieght and I give up in frustration most of the time. I did loose quite a bit of weight going to a diet center about 6-7 years ago. Worked as long as I went to the center and ate very low cal and low carb and drank their supplements. It took about three years to gain most of the weight back but here I am again and want this to work for me. I start the VLC tomorrow and am so excited. I was not hungry this morning but will eat since it's a loading day.

Again, congrats.

Mary. This definitely works. I have lost a lot on Atkins and maintained, but have a ways to go to get to a normal weight for my height/frame and was essentially "stuck". This is working!

When they say load...they mean it!! Eat full fat and lots of it. Good luck!

I can not wait to get there!!! I still have such a long way to go!!!

I am just now getting into 16's nicely. I have been wearing a hodge podge of sizes from 14 - 18. No wonder the 14's and 16's were so tight I had to lay on the bed to button and zip them, then pray I didn't have to go to the bathroom very much.........

I am wearing 14's in dresses and 16's in pants.

you must be taller than I am 5'3" and depending on the brand
either a 18 that fits in the waist but is baggy in the butt
or a 16 that is "allmost" just right

No, actually I am 5'3" also.............

Due to the high testosterone levels, I have like 130 pounds of muscle. So, unless I lose some muscle mass, i will never be the 135 pounds I want to be ever again..........Probably about 150 is going to be my lowest, which sucks.

The good news is, I will probably look like I weigh about 130.

I weighed 224.0 this morning and several people at work say I don't look over 190.

So, for that I am thankful for the added muscle mass.

I am losing all over, but this AM I measured my bust, waist and hips and in the 12 days of VLC eating I have lost 3, 3, 3.5 inches. I have also lost 3 inches in my upper abdomen where I could NOT lose before. When I tell you I am NOT hungry...I am not. I follow the protocol as closely as I can and have even given up my diet coke. This is working. I do know about commitment to a plan as I followed Atkins (which I love btw) very faithfully for a year and then hit a stall for over 8 months where I could not lose....even gained no matter how hard I tried. If this gets me going again. I am sold. I feel wonderful! Trust me...I know how I felt eating Low cal before (1000 cals)...it sucked.
Wow, Peggy. I'm very impressed. (Just starting the HCG drops yesterday. today is Day 2 of loading and then I begin!)

Thanks to all of you great people, especially Grace, for all the helpful tips and inspiration!

Youza rocking, baby!

How I WISH I had known about this "protocol" before. I lost 100 lbs.by rotating lc woes, and then began to bounce right back up (no cheating). Never found a solution to those bounces....but I am definitely giving the HCG my best shot!

Good Luck! Are you doing hHCG or the RX?

Tomorrow is my last injection day for this round...then 72 hours of VLC and on to P3! I am very happy with my results so far.

Hi again, Peggy:
I'm doing the drops. I also hope I understand the protocol correctly! Have the Dr.'s book, and 2 others from a lady named Linda P, and so I keep reading them.

I've also collected 'notes' from this thread that answered some of my questions. I DO wish those books were clearer on some points, writing them in an outline form.

Congratulations on entering P3! (I have to keep these "Phases" straight...I keep thinking Phase I is load days, Phase 2 is VLC, and Phase 3 is the 6 weeks' maintenance. Personally, thinking of it that way helps a person's mind "mentally" progress....as in, "Shoot, I'm already in Phase 2, gotta stick to it.") But that's just me.

Hello, Walking Woman!

No, today is my 2nd "load" day. I read somewhere (probably this thread) that if I am using the H-HCG (homeopathic drops), then I can start the VLC on Day 3. However, right now I am running a slight temp. It figures...I hope I am not getting sick! My youngest son had a fever earlier this week.

Anyway, I just posted on another HCG thread...I hope that is the one to which you were referring.

Thanks for the invite, too! I honestly appreciate it.

After the 26 days you need to commit to 21 days of no sugars and no starches after that you can start adding back in sugars and starches just make sure your weight doesn't start jumping back up. And there are no side effects.

Happy Monday everyone! Trying to keep up and read and re-educate myself on this woe! I'm not a newbie, well, I guess I sort of am. I have learned so much from the people that have done several rounds. My first round was perfect...actually great, my second round..not so much. I am eating p4 foods, now, just trying to keep stabilizing. Started 3/16 and went from a size 18 to a 12, which I am still comfortable in, even tho P2 was almost a nightmare....I didn't stay "strong" at all and had all kinds of cravings. I will probably start my R3 by the end of the month...waiting for it to come in. I did the rx injections before, trying spray this time because of my immunity issues..have a great day everyone!

Susan, you might try adding in potassium. It is suppose to be good for hunger and craving issues. HTH!
