Just eat your veggies to equal out your 500 calorie days. I never counted my calories - I just followed strictly to the menu. I would eat 1/2 a cucumber, or 8 ounces of asparagus, 2 cups lettuce, as much celery as I could handle , 1/2 can tomatoes, etc. The veggies are so low in calories (except asparagus) that I didn't go all head-crazy trying to figure out my exact calorie level. I know I was at 500 or below each day though. |

Deb ~ I'm so excited for you on Round 5!!!! You have done so well on protocol!!! What is your goal for this round? Are you doing another short one? I always start with the expectation of a short round and then see how I feel. I usually extend it for a week or so if I'm in a good mental state

Hi Deb. I tried to send you a PM but I haven't posted in so long that I've forgotten how.
I changed my username (from mis-informed). Anyway, I wanted to say hi and that I'm going to try the hcg. I ordered last night. I'm excited!!! |

You NEED to stay on your BCPs !
HCG is also used for fertility treatments. In the protocol, Dr. S says to stay on them.I hope so, too, KOO. Don't forget to ask your DO about it. Did you have any luck with the naturopath ? |

What would be an estimation of 100 grams of meat? Would that be like a deck of cards size? I am asuming that is splitting the meat into both lunch and supper. I feel like I don't ever need to eat a lot of meat. My dd,15 and I split an 8 oz filet yesterday eating out and honestly I couldn't finish my 4 oz. and had to bring some home.

TBH, I haven't checked into it yet since I probably couldn't start until I get back from Disney World. We leave on the 9th and come back on the 18th so I wouldn't be starting until I get back. Carb loading will be a problem for me too since I never eat any type of bread, pasta or potatoes anymore.

Honestly any headache i got was from lack of caffeine and sugar. You will see a longer side effect profile for most RX meds - but see a doctor if you're that worried |

Oh overload on fat I can do. Heavy Whipping Cream is my friend. [QUOTE=Tazcat;13652994]I just talked to my old boss. She's lost over 25 lbs, come off her anti-depressant and more.... After spending a week in the hospital with one blood clot in November, I sure don't want to risk another. But the homeopathic drops probably will be better for me than the injections.

i have my tsp of milk in it(allowed amount) and stevia or splenda or da vincis i am thinking of ordering da vincis dulche de leche to see if that would taste more like cream i don't care for coffee but i have been freezing the leftovers from our pot in ice cube trays and cooling a pot for me then having like an iced coffee thing and it has made it much more enjoyable for me especially on hot days

Hi Canandiandina, just popping in to respond..I drink mine with Splenda most mornings. Sometimes when I want to change it up I add a teaspoon of fat-free milk...doesn't hinder loss. HTH. I'm in P3 now.

thanks for the responses guys!! I am so nervous doing this for some reason -- only cause i want to follow the rules and see losses. i am on day 1 after 2 loading days so i just want to make sure i do this right. i just had a black cup of coffee and it wasn't too bad.
For lunch i will have 100 gms of shrimp with cabbage, and for dinner chicken with tomatoes. some where in there i will have a grapefruit too. does this sound okay?? |
