Simeons HCG protocol--June 2010

Though we know everyone wants to help support people through the Simeon's Protocol (HCG) diet, we recommend you consult a physician before starting any diet plan. Since no one can possibly know the medical history of the members here, dispensing medical advice is not allowed. This is for the protection of both the member giving the advice as well as the member receiving the advice. LCF wants to keep everyone safe. We would also like to point out that hCG is a controlled substance and requires a doctor's written prescription. Online sales of hCG may be illegal in some states. Therefore, we must request that you not post where or how you are obtaining your hCG products. Our ToS state "any material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, result in civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law is prohibited." We recommend you re-read our ToS to familiarize yourself with the LCF rules.

I just started taking HCG on the 8th of May. I'm doing the injections and so far, so good, I lost 18 pounds in the month of May and I'd love to lose 6 more by the end of this cycle (Jun 15)

Deb - good luck with the laptop!

I am winding down here on vlcd1 - I made it. I ate an apple AND an orange today - something I never would have done on lc. Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow's weigh in will show. Drank lots of water and coffee. So far so good!

Wow, I didn't even bother checking the label - just picked up the organic one. I thought if we were subbing cottage cheese for a protein portion that it had to be fat free?

I suppose it's not a problem I'll have again - if I eat cottage cheese during P3/P4 it will be full fat ONLY!

this morning was 211.5. I think I'm doing ok on P3. I have been in the leeway for 99.99% of the time (except for that little 1/2 pound blooper). But that got taken care of immediately.
I plan on doing at least 24 days of P3. That would mean loading on June 9 & 10. The 10th is dh's birthday....so this will work out just fine.

Have a GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Morning everyone! Just marking my spot in the June thread.

Today is VLCD 27 and I'm down 26.8 pounds. I tried on a bathing suit that I bought for vacation later this month and it actually looked decent. My legs are still way too big for my liking, but my sides actually curve in and my stomach looked flat in my one piece. It was an incredible feeling! I have 12 more days of hcg and I'm hoping to lose another 10 pounds before this round is over. I know that's a long shot, but I like to set really high goals to motivate myself. Wish me luck! I could never have gotten this far if I hadn't found the HCG threads! I'm so grateful to all of you!

Have a great day of losses everyone!

FF - wtg! I have dreams of getting remotely close to that.
Deb - my DS just turned 15 on 05/15. God bless you girl!

TOM comes around whenever it pleases these days. Here I am on VLCD2 and I woke up this morning with cramps and sore boobs. There's no predicting it these days or I wouldn't have started this when I did. But I was down 2# this morning. Just 1/2# to get the rest of the load weight off.

As much as I loved the orange last night, those are going to have to be moved earlier in the day. I felt like it really spiked my blood sugar although I did have it within an hour of having protein. Making notes to look for a pattern of what works and doesn't work.

Oh, that stinks!!! But, the 2 pounds is awesome!!! Some people eat oranges on protocol but I choose not to. I'll let you in on a secret - eat ruby red grapefruit with some splenda/stevia on as your fruit and you'll have really nice losses. At least I did! I would actually eat one whole one right before lunch and then skip my second fruit. I had really great losses when I did that. Or you can eat 1/2 at lunch and 1/2 at dinner. I just liked not eating the sugar after lunch.

Oh Victrola!!! That stuff is NASTAY!!! I think the one I buy is either 1% or 2% fat and it's good. I mix it with splenda and Hershey's sugar-free cocoa and it tastes like chocolate ice cream - YUMMMM!!!

Hello all, I'm new here. I am on r1 d7 (day 5 of vlcd). I'm using hhcg spray, my friend and her husband have had great results on it so I know it works. I was losing great, but yesterday and today's weigh in's were the same! I am due to start TOM in 2-3 days, but do people usually stall BEFORE TOM? If that's the case, should I expect this stall to last untill TOM is over (6 additional days)? Yikes! I would appreciate any input/personal experiences.

I'm not good at being patient.

Oh, and I've been sticking to Simeon's original protocol exactly, eating only 100g (weighed raw) of chicken or mahi mahi, romaine, spinach, cucumber, asparagus, apple and strawberries. Only one fruit at a time, only one meat at a meal, and the only veggies I've mixed are the romaine and spinach.

Thanks a bunch!

I have a tough time with TOM. Not only do I stall but I usually gain 3 pounds during - but that's just me.

Gracie - I love grapefruit but when I was shopping the other day the ones in the store weren't very good looking. I think I'm going to be able to run by a different grocery this afternoon and will see what they have. Am I the only weird one who doesn't like anything sweet on them? I peel the skin off and eat them like an orange.

What's the opinion on balsamic vinegar? I've read so much the past few weeks and trying to locate sources right now is escaping me. TIA!
