Excited and a little nervous to see what the scale says tomorrow morning after today's .5 pound gain. But you know what I realized? I worked out yesterday, and instead of just doing cardio (which is what I usually do) I added several weight machines. I'm totally sore today. Maybe the .5 was from the muscle tissue repairing itself?

hcground1 - yep, an injury or hard muscle workout brings on water retention.
How did you know about cocoa crack? And how come you never made me some before?? Stabilizing was going JUST FINE until Sunday's crack and Monday's cream cheese incident. Not to mention I was eating chicken salad yesterday and thought 'boy this is extra good!' and realized it was because there was sweet relish in it. Grrrr. It went downhill from there.... Are you keeping your middle number current? (140/134.5/120) I'm always curious as to where you're at! Excited for you! |

Hi guys I've new to this thread, have got Linda Prinsters weight loss guide and read Dr. S. protocal. I have a couple of questions that I am not getting answered by reading the book. I am on birth control pill. anyone else have any experience with HCG and being on the pill? any interactions, between the two. I'm suppose to start my TOM tomorrow or Thursday so I was going to wait till after to start the program, but I hate just waiting to begin. Could I start my loading days and HCG with TOM or should I wait to start? I'm due to resume my active birth control pills on sunday, should I start both HCG loading and birth control on the same day??

Birth Control has no counter indications with HCG. in P&I he said you can still use it, in fact I would say you SHOULD since HCG is known to increase fertility. I don't think starting your BC should change anything or it would be mentioned in P&I ETA: unless your BC is known to cause Rapid Weight gain. If you aren't used to it. I've been on my BC for years so I'm sure my body is used to the hormones now, Sounds like you've been on it and are just restarting a new batch, Probably okay.

Whoohoo, WTG Belle!
![]() ![]() I'm down 3 lbs. from yesterday, for a total so far of 4.4! Boy, that feels great! I know the losses will slow down, but wow, as everyone has said, that scale is great motivation! I didn't follow my menu yesterday; the family had tacos so I made my ground beef separately and sauteed some shredded cabbage in lemon juice and sea salt. Very yummy! I had my 1/2 grapefruit as a dessert, since I didn't need to eat it in the afternoon. My hunger yesterday was mostly gone... I ate my apple mid-morning and pushed back lunch until 12:30, then didn't eat dinner until 6:45. I've been spraying at 6am/pm, but cooking dinner kept me occupied for the time before and after the spray so I wasn't watching the clock waiting to shove food in my mouth like the day before. LOL Menu: 1/2 grapefruit 3.5 oz ground beef 1 c cooked cabbage --- 3.5 oz sole 1 c steamed asparagus 1/2 grapefruit |

Awesome gwyn!!!! I feel much better today and yesterday was better than Monday. The hunger and headaches on Monday were killer but all clear after that (so far at least). I know there will be good days and bad days but I'll take the bad days with the losses! Your menu looks great!

And HUGE CONGRATS to all the amazing successes reported in the last page or so, you ladies are inspirational and so helpful. Personally I'm happy to report that I set a ****** weight goal when I started Round 1 of 10% of my starting weight (since that's supposedly a good expectation). As of this morning I have passed that by .8 pound! And I still have exactly 1 week to go. I have lost a total of 27.8 pounds so far. I am in awe....and I need new jeans! I can't tell you how grateful I am to have you all to come check in on every day even if I don't talk that much. Thank you thank you thank you!

Hello all!
I have been lurking in this thread for information...You guy all have lots of valuable advice for a newbie like me! I began loading on Sat (didn't dose) and on Sun (w/dosing). On Monday I had gained 8 pounds. On Tuesday 7 of those 8 were gone and this morning I woke up to another 3.5 gone which is amazing! What foods or recipes are you finding sustain you in between meals? I was not that hungry yesterday. Hopefully the hunger is even better today. I would just like to not have these issues because its so easy to grab more than one melba toast! Thanks in advance! Congrats to us all!
