Thank you so much for the P3 info!!! One thing I'm keeping in mind this time is that it's not 'all you can eat' - with all the creams, fats, etc, it's easy to go over our daily caloric needs REAL quick.
Strangely enough, I was down 2.0 from yesterday - weird - especially since I ate a second dinner at 9:30pm. Didn't have a clue what the scale was going to say and this morning I stood there on the scale rubbing my eyes and leaning down to make sure. That's the thing with P3, you just never know... Got back on w/ ****** to keep track of my foods too... Have a great day ya'll! |

HELP!
I need some help here troubleshooting for DH.
Today is VLCD12. He has no hunger issues, no cheats and typically drinks 2-3 liters of water per day. I've checked every label of every spice and everything he's consumed. He's only down 7.6 pounds overall and more importantly he's hovering at 245 for almost a week. He's hasn't been measuring all along but I know he got in to a smaller size t-shirt this week. I forced him to measure yesterday and today. He's down 10.38 inches overall. He's down 3/4 inch since yesterday. He's very discouraged about the scale not moving and about what seems to be a small loss for two weeks (especially compared to me.) Two things come to mind for me. He's serious coffee drinker. He uses SF liquid creamer that is 15 cal (10 from fat). I did notice however that despite claiming to be SF the second ingredient is corn syrup (huh?) He also uses 3-4 shots daily of SF flavored syrups. The labels state no calories or fat. Secondly, same day he started his program he was diagnosed with skin cancer. He was given a medicinal cream to use for two weeks. The cream contains isopropyl miristate (some kind of oil) and mineral oil. This is day 2 without cream. So, he wants to know what he can and can't have in his coffee, should he do an apple day and any other suggestions you all might have. The med cream seems like the obvious culprit but if he doesn't drop tomorrow or the next day he's gonna freak. We know the HCG is working because we share it and I'm doing great and he's not hungry either. Please, any thoughts? Last edited by UTDramaQueen; 06-11-2010 at 12:10 PM.. |

I am guessing the creamer with corn syrup is the worst offender. Second would be the SF syrup. He can have 1 tablespoon of milk every 24 hours, so that's a good item for the coffee.
Skin creams can be problematic, but if he's been off of it for a couple of days already, if it WAS the culprit, it should resolve itself soon. Also remember, there's lots of stuff going on "under the hood" even if there's no drop on the scale, so hang in there and wait for that "whoosh" !!! ![]() |

Just wanted to thank everyone for all the support while I did the HCG. I have done 21 days and have decided to stabilize. The drops don't agree with me (feel much better off them and have far more energy even while still doing the diet). I wish the rest of you the best of luck with your rounds. I lost 12 pounds and will stabilize that for a few weeks before losing more.

Oh, I never had hunger issues, just weakness/fatigue/shortness of breath type stuff. Today is my last full day of the 500 cals and I've been to the zoo walking for 3 hours with no problems. The diet doesn't bother me one bit but something in those drops certainly was...started feeling better after being off them for even 24 hours. |

If you want to check the values, Use the raw labels for the meat and look at USDA National Nutrient Database Secondly, comparing fit day or the USDA database to packaging may give you conflicting values because for the majority of plain food items, ****** uses the USDA Nutritional Values. If you were to go to that site you'd see that ****** would match values for many of the same foods. OTOH food packaging is allowed to fudge the numbers by rounding up and down. Most food packages don't assume you are going to measure down to the gram and weigh down to the decimal of oz so they just make the nutirent values easy. 0 cal or 5 cal when it's actually 2 calories and 7 calories, but 5's and 10's are easy to understand and add up. Check this Out

I used ground turkey all the time and had no problems and now I see why - they are pretty close to one another.

Beginning my loading day at 211.
I think I started "loading" last night. It was late when we got home and I still made pizza for supper. AND had 2 pcs of dh's birthday cake.SO........Question..... Do I consider this DAY 1 of my R2P2 phase? or do you not count the loading as actual days?. JAN |

I went off plan last night and it was worth it. On a scale of 1-10 my off was about a 7. I didn't completely binge out and I was moderate in the things I ate and drank. Up 2# today and if my swollen little fingers are any indication, it's certainly a ton of water. It was an outside concert and hideously humid. I think I'm going to do an apple day to get back on track. Wonderful weekend wishes to all!

I have done my apple day yesterday and it was rough. My DH decided to take the kids out to eat last night at Chick-Fil-A. I toted my 2 cut up apples and ate them while they ate chicken sandwiches and milkshakes right in front of me
How downright mean!!! Anyhow, I stuck to no water and 5 big apples and released........2.4 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wowza!!! That is all I can say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am thrilled beyond belief!!! I am now at 114.2. Now I can end my round on my terms. Breaking through 116!!! Yeah!!!!

I lost...drumroll please.....NOTHING! Not one ounce! lol I was a little shocked this morning when I stepped on the scale. However, tomorrow is my last day of dosing, and up until this past Wednesday I had been losing every single day, so I think maybe my body is just ready to level off at this weight right now. I don't want to be greedy or ungrateful because I've lost so much weight already. So I'm not going to worry too much about it. Today I'm doing a regular P2 day. I'm debating whether or not I should try an apple day tomorrow again since it's my last day...or if I should just end it on regular P2. |
