Dang it! I"m at 123 today but I think its because of TOM - tomorrow phase 3 begins, hoping I'm back down so I don't have to do a steak day right away in phase 3! Big weekend planned

You and I are running about the same. I'm down 16.8 on Day 17. Ive noticed that if I dont see BERNICE in 4 days the loss will drop to .6 or so and then when I have the smooth move the next day I release at the least 1.2.

Yeah, I haven't seem very much of Bernice in a few days. She swung by yesterday, but didn't stay long and brought a pretty lousy housewarming gift.

Hey everyone..I know I have been gone about 2 weeks..but my boyfriend was in a very serious car accident 2 weeks ago and it's turned my world upside down. He's still in the ICU and has not woken up yet. He's going to have a very very long recovery. So I probably won't be around much these days. Good luck to everyone who's starting the hcg or continuing with it.

If anyone is interested in seeing how Chad (my boyfriend) is doing, we have a support page on Facebook - Chad Robert Smith Support Group.

I just wish I hadn't gained those 10 pounds right before protocol cause then I would have lost 13 NEW pounds and I'd be at a new low weight that I haven't seen in a LONG time. Learn from my mistake and try to control yourself between now and Saturday. lol

The protocol DEFINITELY works though. I'm a HUGE believer now that I've seen how quickly it has worked on me.

Make sure you load on lots and lots of fats instead of carbs so that you won't feel hungry once you start your VLCD.

Good Luck! I can't wait to see your results!
I wish I had listened to you before I ate fried chicken at lunch today UGH I need to start. I have noticed that when I skip dinner I can get away with more carbs but thats just A BAD BAD mental state to be in.

GRRRrrrr I'm ready to start!

Um yeah, this whole Stevia thing has been pretty interesting. I have no intention of switching from Splenda, I lost 100lbs using it so it can be bad for me. Stevia tastes like feet to me.

Thanks Deb and Gracie... I think I just get nervous when approaching a new WOE... truth of the matter is that people think Atkins doesn't work and that's just as NOT true. I think everyone's crazy losses is what makes people so skeptical. I mean, this stuff sounds so potent it seems like you need an Rx!

Just re-read this... 50lbs say WHAT?!!

I just figured out who you were... I've been reading the old threads and you changed your pic! I think you answered my original question about HCG in someone's journal.

Oh, and ladies, I had my monthly doctor appointment today. My doctor told me that the pharmacist he got my HCG from told him that the price of the injectables is about to jump BUT that there will be a sublingual PILL available! It will be RX but in pill form, once a day only!

He'll have it for me for my next round. Yay! Fingers crossed that it works just as well.

That should be interesting. Do you know what dosage you get in your injections ? I wonder what they are going to do for people who need a smaller or even greater dosage ?

My dosage is 175, but I don't know what percentage of that is the actual HCG.

Good question about the dosage differences! I know that the vast majority of subq injections are 175. My guess is that it will be the equivalent.

Of course, the pharmacy is a compounding pharmacy, so they may end up doing things a little differently.

The thing is, those people who do injections and order theirs overseas are able to change their dosage with their needle. People use between 125iu- 175 iu, whatever is necessary to keep hunger away. If someone took a pill that was 175iu and it didn't work, that would be a huge waste of money. What happens is people start off at high doses and then tweak it so they don't have hunger. I think dosage tweaking is SO VERY important in the protocol. What works for one person may not work for another. I don't believe in one-szie-fits-all healthcare anyways.

Well, if it works for my dosage then that will work for me. And if it works for others at that same dose then it will make for some happy patients!

Good luck with that. It is very fortunate you have done EXCEEDINGLY well on at 175iu.

I worry about everyone else, though. Wonder what kind of fillers they will add to make a pill or if this is something the pharmacist has decided to make on his own. Enough wondering ! I will go ask at the yahoo group if anyone has tried something like it.

girl i hate to say it but that doc sounds like he is trying to milk u.. way cheaper to get your Rx for yourself ........ IDK about the pill sounds like it would be way easier!!

ETA i hadn't thought about the dosage adjustments!! eek we are doing 125 IU and the IU means international units of HCG so you are getting 175 of it

i totally agree that the homeo works - but for me personally (my specific brand asked me to do 6 drops - 6x a day) i found i was forgetting, or in the middle of something, or didn't do it as told - also, i'm a complete diet failure (unfortunately) so not having the accountability to go and answer to someone weekly or whatever it may be....i wasn't taking it as seriously as i should. i know i should have that self control within myself, but i just don't - and i do better when i know i have to answer to someone else and talk thru it - that 2nd set of eyes also helps to read what i've eaten and what i may be doing wrong.

the once a day shot seems better able to fit my lifestyle.

today is my first day of VLCD - i am kind of hungry today i must say but i drank 2 liters of water so i'm hoping that will help

if i can get thru today i can get thru this cycle and once i see those lbs coming off i know it'll be even more of a motivation.

today so far i've had:

coffee w/spoonful of skim milk
10 strawberries
lunch: 3.5 oz grilled chicken breast w 2 cups of lettuce and walden farms ranch dressing
snack: grissini breadstick
dinner: cabbage mixed with 96% ground beef and a little braggs aminos

i'm a caffeine junky so today sucked - going to get some truvia/stevia tomorrow so i can have some tea during the day to help with that - major headache today

girl i hate to say it but that doc sounds like he is trying to milk u.. way cheaper to get your Rx for yourself ........ IDK about the pill sounds like it would be way easier!!

ETA i hadn't thought about the dosage adjustments!! eek we are doing 125 IU and the IU means international units of HCG so you are getting 175 of it
No, he's not trying to milk me. He has nothing to do with the actual product!

In fact, I think I'll call the pharmacy myself to get the details.

I just left a message for the pharmacist to return my call but have also done a bit of research. Apparently it is rx, it is still hcg, but it's just a pretty new form.

The injections are no problem for me, but I'd already been wondering how to continue while traveling (and how to keep the vial cold!) so I am happy to try the pills. Oh, and it looks like they're not something you swallow; they're meant to be held under the tongue till they dissolve.
