It's interesting, about the inches. At the end of my stall, I measured and I had not lost inches, but oddly enough my belly felt tighter, ... inside. it felt like I had done sit ups or something, so I wonder if I really am losing inches just around the inside, the visceral fat?

That would be nice! I read that organ fat increases your odds of health issues like diabetes and heart trouble. That would be good to have gone.

I would let myself off the program for whatever reason and restart at a later date. I had lost 20 pounds. I then gained some back, now I am at a total of 15 pounds. I am determined to do this this time! I think April is a good month for me to do this as is May. I don't have alot going on, except this weekend. It is mom's weekend at my daughters college and I am trying to get myself ready for the weekend of challenges. I am not staying there I will be staying at home and going to visit everyday and evening, so that will help alot! I just have to focus on the prize!
Great job! I think this diet does take some planning..you probably would not want to do it when you have a lot of social activities planned or during holidays and birthdays. I am not saying you wouldn't be able to but the temptations are much greater! I specifically planned mine out that way. I knew I was not doing anything for easter and I will definitely be into P3 for me and my boyfriends 2 year anniversary on May 2nd. Planning the 2nd round might be more difficult as we go camping so much in the summer!

I feel like I've lost a ton around my middle, butt, thighs, etc. I can definitely see my baby pouch going away! I wish we could spot reduce because I've always been self-conscious about my arms!

I just finished the "chili"....I can't believe that's totally legal on Dr. S? It is so good and filling...can we put it over lettuce to make a taco like salad like Wendy's does, or is that too much veggies with the tomatoes? I used 1/2 can tomatoes for a serving..hope that is right...so yummy! Thanks girls for the recipe!

I always put it over a nice bed of romaine lettuce. I just use the tomato as my fruit for that meal. It is sooooooooooooooooooo good !!!!!

boil 4 eggs(boil mor if you are making some for your family too)
discard 3 of the yolks (or put them in your families part)

put 1 yolk and 1 whole white in a small bowl chop fine add your favorite mustard and spices stevia if you like and mix well stuff remaining 3 whites (6 halves) with your mixture sprinkle with paprika

Dr. S said we could have 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites so that works out!
if you have the walden farms mayo you could add a small spoonful of that to your mix HTH

Finally got a new scale so disregard any previous posts containing weight number. Old scale was waaaaay off. I have 10 more lbs to lose than I thought.

Daily weights:
Wed - 153.9
Thursday - 152.2
Friday - 151.4

It's picking up! Taking a nap now because I'm working tonight.

I didn't know WF had a mayo, or maybe my store doesnt' carry it. I just saw Krafts Fat Free mayo the other day but it is mostly HFCS, and I wasn't sure that would be a fair trade. I guess I could use the blue cheese WF dressing.

I wonder I could make Egg Salad and have it with my Salad Lettuce. Thanks for that idea!

ETA: has anyone tried the Bacon Flavored Seasoning? I bought it but it just smells like barbeque. I'm a fraid to try it If I make the egg salad I'll sprinkle some on and let you know.

I have the Walden's Farms bacon dressing and it's not bad. It would probably be good in that egg salad or the deviled eggs. I think I'll try it tomorrow!

Happy Saturday ladies! Today I am down -1.0 # for a total of -11.2# in 5 vlcd's! I ate chicken for both meals yesterday because I didn't have time due to DS's activities. I keep the chicken in the fridge ready to go - didn't seem to hurt my progress. I have a 3.5 ounce filet mignon in the fridge for lunch today - YUMMMMMMMM!!!! Everyone have a great Saturday and hopefully some great releases.

Good Morning Everyone! I had a perfect day yesterday, and the scale moved down only such a tiny bit...not even sure what it is (I have one of those doctors scales where you move the lever on top)..had the scale for about 25 years as when I was a medical assistant the doctor I worked for gave everyone in the office one, so that's what I use. I suppose the newer digital ones would be better, but I am about 203.9 this morning. I think I got spoiled dropping almost a pound a day for so many days, but I'm finding out, that Gracie is absolutely right about this...sometimes you do nothing wrong and you have eaten the same way, used the same products since you began, and be patient because it could take a few days for another drop...probably getting rid of my stubborn bad fat is harder work for my body as its' been there for so long..don't know.

Gracie...You are unbelievable...look at you go! Thanks for posting your food, that always helps me when people do that...kind of helps confirm what I'm doing. I have been treating myself to the filet also..yumm! Question...Dr. S. said not to have the same meal twice in one day, but like you, I sometimes do also. Can you have the same veggie for lunch and dinner, but switch the meat?

Deb...Yeah!!!! That is such great news...

My food today is, always coffee in the morning, mid morning yerba matte, lunch today fish on the grill with cabbage, and tonight the chili...probably 2 apples today cause that's what I have. Do you think it hurts to eat 2 apples everyday?

What do you think about having a filet or steak every night and then just switch the lunch from chicken, or a fish a few times a week? I am so busy, and I'm staying on this 3 more weeks, so I need to be well prepared in advance, or I'm in trouble. Also, I'm finding out, I'm not liking chicken right now...so weird..I wonder why. I could hardly eat it yesterday.

Have a great and wonderful Saturday!

I think two apples a day is fine. If that's what you want go for it. You can have two of any of the fruit in any combination, just not all at once.

Your menu sounds just fine. Especially if it is easy and will make sure you don't stress or miss meals or end up hungry or unsatisfied. My last round I could not make myself eat fish, but ate chicken and beef alot, this round I'm all about fish and could eat it exclusively. YOu are eating so little, eat what you want, listen to your body and give it fish and steak it wants. You don't have to eat chicken at all.

Morning everyone!

Today is R1P2VLCD20 and was down .8 this morning for a total loss of 15.8 pounds. Also did measurements today and was down 4 inches which totally confirms that I was still losing fat throughout that stall for the past week! So total inches lost now is 15! It's amazing for me to see that I've lost just about as many inches as pounds.

Well if I wanted to do a short round, I could do last injection tomorrow..but I really want to lose 20 pounds this round so I am gonna stay on at least till the 21st since I just remixed yesterday and don't want to waste anything.

Susan - I don't think having just apples as your fruit is going to hurt you and the steak may not either as long as beef doesn't stall you which it doesn't look like it does.

I'm actually loving chicken which is weird because normally I like it but only would eat it once in awhile because it never was that tasty to me. same goes for fish..but I find I am really liking my tilapia. Weird..

Wow Gracies! You are just having an awesome start to round 3! Keep it up!!

Good morning, everyone !

Today is VLCD5 and I have released .8 pounds and am now at 218.4. Tomorrow I will check my measurements but honestly my clothes are not any loser. I had a myomectomy at the end of February and my belly area is still swollen. My doctor said it will be six months before my uterus is normal size. I would just like to fit comfortably in my jeans soon.

Susan ~ I eat two apples a day often. It doesn't say not to eat the same foods - I think that came about from experiments from other hcg'ers. I've never had any problem losing eating the same things. I seriously eat steak or the chili or meatloaf for dinner every night and chicken for lunch. I love fish but I can't eat it without butter! I will occasionally have shrimp but I don't find it as filling. I know that Dawn would make enough chili in the morning for the entire day and just split it up for her two meals. Oh, try the boiled radishes - they are actually pretty good. Boil them until all of the color is gone and then add your spices. I pretended they were potatoes with my meatloaf! LOL I'm predicting you're going to reach ONEDERLAND this week!

Great job! Once you get in 21 injections you can go as long as you want. I always love when I make it to my 21st vlcd because then I know I can take an interruption if I need to. You should reach your 20 pounds within a week.

Congrats on the loss! Did you measure or are you guessing? I'd bet dollars to donuts you've lost some inches.

Preheat oven to 425. Mix together all the above ingredients. Mold into a loaf. Place into shallow baking dish. Bake for 30 min. (4 servings)
i did not have the walden farms sauce and just used this recipe

Quote:
Smoky BBQ Sauce

# 2 T sugar free tomato sauce
# 2-3 T water
# 1/2 t dehydrated minced onion
# 1/2 t red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
# 1/4 t sugar free liquid smoke
# 1/4 t paprika
# 1/4 t chili powder
# 1/8 t cinnamon
# 1/8 t cloves
# 1/4-1/2 t sugar substitute (if needed)
# salt/pepper (to taste)

1. In small non-stick saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer 20 mins.

NOTE: I will often omit and add different seasonings. I sometimes add mustard, chili paste, or jalapeno juice. BBQ sauce is often a very personal thing, so experiment and see what works for you. This is just a starting point.

This makes enough for 1-2 servings.
i left out the liquid smoke i thought it was yuck!!! YMMV

Thanks, Deb ! I feel 100 times better now that I had the surgery - I feel like even a cloud has been lifted off my brain. And for the first time in my life, I may get a flat tummy !

That recipe sounds yummy ! I am going out to the farmer's market and will definitely try it - I have been wanting meatloaf for a while now. Did you like your recipe better than Walden's ?

Anyone tried the hcg or hhcg with the 500 calories being low carb high fat food choices? The idea of low fat low calorie scares me as I get gallbladder attacks when I eat that way.

Hi everyone! Great job on all the losses! Gracie, you amaze me! Good job girl! This is R1P2VLCD8 and although I stalled for 2 days, I was down a pound this morning! YIPPEE! Total, 9 pounds!. I went to a bridal shower today and thought I wasn't going to eat, but the waiter asked me how I wanted my chicken and vegetables prepared! So, I told him and it was GREAT! YAY! My friends who saw me just last week were like WHOA! I actually think when you are on HCG you lose a different kind of fat than you do when you just diet. It's a more noticeable fat. Am I just crazy? LOL

I have yet another bridal shower tomorrow and then a wedding tomorrow night! CRAZY!

To make the chili, can I use half a can of whole tomatoes? Thanks, everyone! I sooo love this site!

i used a whole can of tomaotes to a whole pound of hamburger and divided it into 4 equal portions when it all cooked you go over a tad on the meat but sure was easier that way!

I do something similar but with ground chicken breast. I either use 2 14 oz.cans or 1 28 oz. cans and divide it into 4 portions. I figure going over a wee bit on the protein isn't going to kill me and it still comes out to about 185 calories per serving since I'm using chicken breast instead of beef.
