She cant sleep at night. And she is sleeping everyday until my little brother gets home from school. I wonder if this would help her?

I think it would help her fall asleep for sure. You don't feel groggy the following day either. I think I bought mine at Wal-mart - it has melatonin and B-6. I'm usually asleep 20 minutes after I take it.

Oh wow! My doc told me 1.5-3 mg and the pills are exactly 3 mg. I believe that the more we age, the less melatonin we produce so maybe the increase is because of our age difference? I'm 37 (soon to be 38 ) and probably still produce enough melatonin but this little bit helps me fall asleep.

Oh my you're just a youngin!!! Yeah, I've heard doses from less than 3mg up to 30mg! I read in Suzanne Sommers' book BREAKTHROUGH that she takes 20mg a night! That's when I increased my dose to 12mg. Some nights I still have to take a pm pill tho. I'm still trying to get balanced from menopause 8 years ago! All you young women out there are smart for trying to get healthy while you're young! Menopause just makes whatever is messed up MORE messed up! UGH!

Absolutely stayed on plan!!!! After catching up on all the posts...I may have accidently ate the wrong tomato. I saw in one of the posts to avoid grape tomatoes...and of course, I had some scaled some of those to take with me. I only ate 1 portion though. I looked at the container in the frig and the darn thing says....Cherry Berries. And then under it, it says grape tomatoes. I would have never thought that there was a big differance.

I can't wait to get on the scale in the morning...I hope that the tomato fiasco doesn't end up hurting me.

Oh, that was me - but that is ENTIRELY MY OPINION. It may be just fine for you. It's just that I can taste how much sweeter than normal the grape tomatoes are and with so much of our fruits and vegetables having been modified over the years, I just bet that Italian tomatoes in Dr. Simeon's day didn't have nearly the sugar content these must.

I know that since we are ingesting so few calories that most of this gets used up by our bodies but I really thought with the romaine for lunch and baby spinach for dinner for the past three days that something would happen!! Oh well, lucky I love my tea!! And Deb, tomorrow I promise not to be so greedy...well maybe. Lets see how tomorrows weigh in goes!!!! Thanks for all your support!!

Deb ~ The only thing I'm surprised about is the BANANA!!! I didn't even try one of those in P4 My guide from Linda Prinster says no bananas until P4. It's funny though because my 11 month old eats 1/2 banana every day and I'm always salivating over it There's lots of nuts in those menus too - I have to be very careful with the nuts.

I think I got it at Amazon- It's called "HCG Weight Loss Cure Guide". It's pretty good. It has about 15 pages of a food chart that shows what phases the foods are allowed to be eaten in. I can't remember what I paid for it - maybe $10????

They are not on protocol per se, but I believe they can be used without a problem. Just make sure you keep your water intake high throughout the whole day.

I added to them hamburger and canned sf tomatoes and boy was it GOOD. You could also add your chicken and some poultry seasonings. They have no taste of their own so they are very versatile!
Marci, Did you order them online or can I find them at the grocery store ? I am going to check the international food aisles today. Is it the same as the shirataki noodles ?

Did you see where Deb and myself gave our input on your menu? You are mixing too many vegetables in one meal. The protocol calls for one veggie at each meal. And like I said before, those chicken thighs may cost you a couple days because of all the extra fat releasing in your system. Just ride it out and you'll be fine!

I gained 4 pounds on the pig out days which put me up to 131, and I'm at 128 today and it is my 7th day of dieting. Here is my menue from yesterday:
10:00 - apple
12:00 - chicken, lettuce, 1tbs salsa
3:30 - apple
5:30: hamburger and cabbage

and for the first time I had my liquid vitamins because I read that we are supposed to be having a vitamin, but I'm thinking that might have caused me not to lose! So no more vitamins!

Just wanted to check in. Did an experiment thanks to Gracie and tried eating 1/2 a grapefruit as 1 of my fruits. Did very well...lost 1.4 the 1st day, 0.8 the 2nd day, 0 the 3rd day, and 1lb the 4th day. Needless to say I don't know if its the grapefruit, but I am not switching things around.

Susan, I have not been doing 3 weeks of P3. I did an initial 23 days and then I have been taking P3 breaks (10 days, 2 weeks) and then going right back to P2.

Quick poll: Whose P&I version lists scallops?

I remember the grapefruit trick from when I was a kid and my mom and aunt decided to do the Scarsdale diet! That's why I've been making it one of my fruit choices every day!!

Yes they are shirataki noodles. If you google 'miracle noodles' or 'shirataki noodles' you will find many online stores that carry them, but they are often out of stock! So when I order, I order plenty! They last like 4 months. Don't pay extra for anyone wanting to add faster shipping because of 'refrigeration' ... it's not needed!

I believe Safeway carries them, too, in the fresh salad/tofu section. No Safeways here in Indiana. DRATS. Whole Foods carries them too, I believe. In the stores they will be in the 'cooler' sections.

Some stores/online stores carry a tofu version which we can't have till P4, but I've already ordered mine and can't wait to see how they taste too. There is also a shiritaki noodle with seaweed which they call 'black' miracle noodles, although they're really brown. Had some for lunch. YUM.
