Good loading Victrola! I read P&I again last night and Dr. S. said to gorge! He said those that do transition smoothly into vlcd's and lose it right away so no worries.

I'm going to try and make some crustless cheesecake with stevia now that I'm on P3
I actually had a stevia plant and I could taste the bitter even from eating a tiny bit of the plant. the bitterness effect affects some much more than others it seems. The Kal Brand Stevia I bought for example is super clean extract of stevia and once I blew a whole bunch of it on my face when opening the safety seal and even then it did not taste bitter though it was way too much. Different brands process it differently and some better than others. But using too much is a bitterness disaster normally. I like to use it for tea also, as a blend with stevia, sucrolose, and xylitol.

Hope your cheesecakes come out great.

R1P2vlcd6 -7.5 lbs. I'm happy and a little mad at myself for my grissini pigfest Friday. I stayed totally OP yesterday though. I probably won't get to onederland until Tuesday now. I of course will get there and that's what I'm going to think about! Live and learn. No more pigfests! I see my naturopath on Thursday so he should be jazzed too.

I read P&I again last night. The more I read it the more it all makes sense. It's quite the fascinating discovery. Re-reading P&I was the only benefit of my insomnia.

Is anyone else not sleeping well? I'm taking my usual melatonin and a little magnesium but I am not staying asleep. Any suggestions?

After much lurkin...and many failed attempts at many MANY diets, i started HCG and today is my 2nd day of loading. it isn't as much fun as i thought it would be....i'm not hungry :-( i keep telling myself today is my last day to EAT but i have no desire. I'm doing the drops (6 drops - 6x a day) and they seem to be working because they are taking all the fun out of loading :-) i really feel like this is going to work - after reading all of your posts and positive re-inforcements with eachother.

wish me luck! i'll be here alot more often!

have any of you tried the detox baths? and if so, do they work?

Chris! Eat, eat, eat my friend! We all get sick of it but you will be much happier and successful once you start vlcd's if you do. I ate GOBS of peanutbutter and hwc in coffee even when I wasn't hungry. Eat what you'll miss. Fatty creamy foods because they will be "gone johnson" for at least 3 weeks.

Everyone is doing great. I couldn't wait until tomorrow. Because of Gracie I have been eating 1/2 a grapefruit the last 2 days and I have lost 2.2 lbs in those 2 days. The grapefrit thing is working wonders for me.

I never heard of Earth's Fare but that is an outstanding offer. I'm going to search for it...

Penny, all of a sudden I am having the same problem. I didn't get to sleep until 3 am and I take the melatonin, too. The magnesium doesn't seem to really help me with bernice and I take two.

Quick question:
I am not a fruit fan. Do I have to eat it? I much prefer veggies so wondered if I got hungry if I could just have more of those?
Today is loading day #3. Just ate for the first time at 1pm (not hungry AT ALL~and at church so no chance to eat) Hope the drops continue to do their thing!

Y'all losers keep up the GREAT work! Can't wait to join the losing side

You don't like any fruit? Apples of any kind or sort? Applesauce maybe? You don't like strawberries? Even made into a frozen slushy?

I'm not sure, and I tweak all the time, but I doubt leaving out fruit totally and adding veggies would be without consequences. Guess you can try it and see what happens!

Yep, according to Dr. Simeons you need the fruit. The way that protocol is designed is very specific. Read Pounds and Inches and he explains the improtance of the selected foods. There are a lot of veterns here that will surely have some good advice on how to get your fruit in for the day!!! Good luck and keep on loadin'.

I just got back from the farmer's market and got a ton of strawberries. I will make myself like them! (they are my favorite out of the list, so I will start with that) could I do premade natural applesauce w/o anything added? Is that allowed? I do need to read P&I more thoroughly tonight! I am excited to start tomorrow!
Thanks girls!

Well, I'm not at all hungry and yup, I'm definitely a walker. I'm certainly fine with not eating till I get home and have my chicken. I've just had an apple today and lots of water.

Does anyone use the Walden's salad dressings? Is a salad with a little lean protein and cucumbers or cauliflower ok? Or if you pick lettuce is that the only veggie that you get at that meal?

Yeah, premade applesauce with no added stuff should be great. I made my own by just chopping up about four apples, adding sweetener and letting it slow cook in a pan for a few hours. It is EXCELLENT! Besides eating fresh strawberries, I cut them and froze them and blended them with some sweetener and ate it as a strawberry slushy! YUM. Nice to have variety!

I'm not a big fruit eater either but when it's time to eat, that apple tastes GREAT! You can also have oranges, grapefruit, or strawberries.

I tried the Walden dressings & the BBQ sauce in the beginning of R1 but quickly disguarded them as they began to repulse me. I tried tweaking them to make them more tasty but without much success. You may like them tho.

The times I did eat a green salad I did add some onions, cukes & tomatoes which is NOT protocol but plain greens just wasn't going to work for me. No, cauliflower isn't on the approved list. I didn't do that often because I never did find a good salad dressing I liked without mayo or oil. I hope I can come up with one before Round 2!

Your applesauce sounds delicious! I may give that a try Let me know if you find a good salad dressing too. I'm a creamy, fatty dressing kinda gal so Walden Farms doesn't appeal to me either. I've tried it but don't love it
