My stats would be very different!!

I'm R1P2 VLCD 2 and down 1 pound... or 3.8 lbs, depending which I use!
USE THAT HIGHER WEIGHT you lost it you earned it!! 2 pounds in 1 day!!! i am so happy for you!! remember when we would have been escstatic for 2 pounds in a week or more????

first off you might get headaches for the first few vldcs because of detoxing issues and some carb withdrawal totally normal and you will make it through

FOOD!! CHEESECAKE!!!!!NUTELLA!!!!avocado, sour cream, cheese Anything that is full of fat will work. If you prefer not to have lactose, you can concentrate on cream cheese, sour cream, heavy whipping cream, roasted nuts (macadamias, cashews etc), french fries with lots of ketchup, loaded baked potatoes, fast foods of all kinds, ceasar salad with lots of dressing
most of us don't over do the carbs though BUT if there is something you will miss for the next few weeks go ahead and have it!
For the last load day add a box of donuts/cinnabon's/cake/etc. salmon

I can't stress enough that you need to gorge
a good choice for breakfast might be a big, fluffy three-egg omelet with cheese, bacon and sautéed mushrooms accompanied by buttered toast and hash browns. For lunch, have a big Caesar Salad with full-fat dressing and bacon along with garlic toast and cheese. Supper could be a broiled steak with mushroom gravy, a baked potato slathered in sour cream and buttered peas on the side, topped off with chocolate cream pie for dessert.pizza with the works and Cesar salad for dinner – topped off with pecan pie a la mode.

KFC MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY!!!Make yourself a tuna salad or chicken salad or salmon salad and load it up with mayonnaise CHEESECAKE my very first load day i had 6 big pieces of cheesecake! HTH

something i thought you guys would enjoy that a friend of mine posted in a response to a question about someone's husband joining her on protocol!!

Quote:

First, what you must do is slap him now, cause he is going to lose this weight so fast and furious cause he is a man that his head will spin and he will rub it in so just get it over with and slap him now.

Ok, that over with, now, tell him he needs to act like a man - don't be a mamby pamby telling you that he misses his beer or he misses his chicken wings, tell him that they will be there when he is done, and then SLAP him again cause he will lose double what you will lose in the same amount of time.

So, just to let you know, your not done slapping him yet. Cause you will have to remind him to drink his water. Yet even if he doesn't drink his water he will still lose faster than any of us women that have done this protocol to a "T" and followed all the rules, and when he doesn't drink his water, slap him again.

Oh yeah, and be ready to listen to him whine the first day he stalls, not knowing what the heck went wrong - it's worse than a man being sick when they stall. Just listen and take it in, slap him again because when he starts losing again it will be in the DOUBLE what he thought he could, and then he will rub it in again.

Don't be surprised if he loses this all in 3 weeks, and if so, yup, you guessed it, slap him again.

Ok, you know I am funning with you right?

Happy Friday Morning to Everyone! I keep so busy during the week that I don't often have time to write, but I read what everyone is saying.....and, it's usually a lot to catch up on. I work about 12-14 hourrs in 4 days, and today is my day off, thank goodness. I would like to remark to so many of you, but there is so much to say, so I will go with the latest (I had to catch up with a lot of pages!)

Gracie - you are doing awesome! If I read correctly, you are done with this round and doing P3 now. What you were saying to Doxie...I am soooo afraid of P3. I get my last injection Sat morning (tomorrow), eat p2 on Sunday and Monday, then Tuesday start P3..right? Thanks for the first day menu selection....I'm on r1p2vlcd39 (I did the 6 week version cause I was doing okay), 194 this morning...32 pounds gone. I will weigh Tuesday morning, and get the weight so I know what I am starting at on P3. So SCARED! Don't want to set off any cravings or binging.

The orange discussion....it was listed on the protocol by Dr S that my dr. gave me, so I also have had about one a day and usually an apple or strawberries. I don't believe I ran into anything that really made me stall, cause I even had beef 2 times yesterday, as that is all that I had ready and I was down a pound this morning. I eat lettuce or cabbage every single day. Every body is different. The way I understand this is, if you have a sensitivity to a certain food, it can do that too you. I had many tests done in the past year and my food "allergies" (should stay away from) are all the gluten, wheat, oat, rye, flour, cane sugar, and several others, that's why I stayed away from the grissini. I did buy some yesterday, cause I was hungry, and wondered what it would do adding it in so late in the diet, but I still went down.

Kerri - I keep watching how you are doing too, cause I'm right behind you, so keep up the good work and reporting.

I do the injections IM in my thigh, never had a problem, but then, I'm a med assistant, and really, nothing bothers me haha! I thought my stress would stop this weight loss, but guess not. I was an emotional, binger, carb addict, sugar addict, food was my comfort and I have gained 80 pounds since my husband died...then my dad died, and a week later my little sweetie dog died on my birthday. I would get up in the middle of the night, and eat what ever I could find and I would wake up in the morning and find all the wrappers of food on my nightstand and wondered what the heck I did. Tried every diet there is. Have a daughter in college, a son with cerebral palsy, a foster child, and mentor 4 kids that lost their mom to breast cancer, so I am extremely busy. I put myself at the bottom of the list every single day, as there was "NO Time For ME". This all changed on March 16 when I went to my doctor, and my blood pressure was so high, he mentioned the hcg to me, and I committed myself to changing.

I am telling you my story, as we all have one and I want to encourage someone to give this a try. I need to thank all my good wonderful friends on this thread who helped me so much, because I have no support at all. I was mostly put down because of my weight often. You have helped get me to where I am today. I will be 62 this year (November), and I would love to be at my goal by then.

Have a really great "losing" day today!

Thanks Deb! I CAN'T WAIT! I will be crying tears of joy. I was probably 34 or 35 the last time I saw "1" I remember weighing 190 one morning and calling in sick I was so upset and then I went over 200. I was not in a happy place back then. But I'm here now and that's all that matters. It makes the success that much sweeter. I really appreciate it now. Thank you Lord!

Hi all!

Just stopped by to see how you are all doing. I had a terrific Round 1 overall, 42 full days worth of it, dropping 21 pounds and 7 inches! Starting P3 tomorrow. I am very happy with homeopathic hcg and know that it works! I was 98% compliant with Dr. S's protocol and it still worked like a champ. It was tweak it or ditch for me. Glad I tweaked and stuck with it!

Going to do three full weeks of P3 and three full weeks of P4 to give my body a chance to readjust and reset, then it's on to Round 2. I figure it will take four or five rounds for me to be rid of all my abnormal fat. So be it. I am ready!

Continued success everyone!!

I came across a hcg recipe site and one of the recipes for the buffalo chicken salad uses Franks Hot Sauce?? Has anyone used this successfully? I'm getting ready to cook my chicken for the week and would like to use it but I want to make sure I do this correctly and lose as much as possible.

Also, does anyone have any helpful tips for us newbies on how they handle their droppers and syringes?

I used the frank's hot sauce original during P2 and it was fine..just don't use the wing sauce they have because that has oil in it.

I had my first injection!!! I'll be doing it subq, in my stomach, and it didn't hurt at all. Easy peasy.

I went to the grocery store after to stock up for loading, and wouldn't you know it I didn't particularly have a taste for anything. Lucky I'd written stuff out! I'm eating rice pudding right now and there will be ice cream, cheesecake, nuts, key lime pie, croissants, coconut oil, the Rotel dish topped with cheese, sour cream, and avocados. I realized I will likely be eating $50 worth of food in these two days! At least! Holy crap.

Me too! Just ate a half of a bacon cheeseburger with fries from Chilis.

Could the drops be working that quickly? I had a hard time eating today. I was worried I would not get enough calories (that sounds so weird) so I went to the Cheesecake Factory and got a low-carb cheesecake (I don't eat sugar) I guess I will have some for breakfast. I sure am ready for Monday to be here. I feel bloated and yucky right now~I also sure hope that the weight I am sure to gain over the next couple of days comes off asap.......

anyway, thanks for all of the info and inspiration you all provide!

They do work really fast initially, at least for some people. You'll find it's harder to load than you expected. I think it's actually a good sign and it means that your body is already using your fat stores for fuel, so when you transition to VLCD it should be easier to do.

I love your siggy !

Can someone hold my hair while I barf? kthxbai

I am DONE for the night. I couldn't eat another bite if you paid me. Ugh.

I was wondering if I should do three days (2.5 really) since I didn't get my injection till like 12:30pm, but I don't want to eat like this anymore than I have to.

And, trust me, I am not holier than thou, I have binged myself silly many times - but something about thinking that I have to do it again tomorrow makes it much less appealing!!

I was also going to do 3 days of loading, but at this point the thought of eating anything tomorrow makes me ill. (surely I will feel differently tomorrow?)
anyway, a friend of mine who has had great success on HCG said 3 days is really good if you can manage it. I have dinner plans on Sunday night so I planned on starting vlcd on Monday anyway, but I may have to take it easy and work on my drops and getting my water in.
good luck w/ whatever you decide!

I'll forward your kudos ! she's on cloud nine . She started in Jan. wearing size 18 ( going to be a bridesmaid for a friend ) after a short time on R1 she had a fitting for the bridesmaids dress and the 16 almost fit ,not realizing the full potential of this diet she was afraid to order smaller and figured she would have to have it altered if she did release more inches . Today she had another fitting ,( just ending R2P2) and they are going to order her a size 10 she's just floating , makes a mommy proud .

I am actually doing fabulous myself R3P2 and 70 net pounds released and still P2ing , I want to join the journey to Onederland in R4 so I am working the P2 a little longer to make my dream come true , doing HHCG I feel safe from immunity, all is good !.

That is UNBELIEVABLE! You and your daughter are both doing so great. And to think I've been struggling with the same 10-15 pounds since January. I wish I had found this hcg thread back then. I just hope I have results like your daughter so that in 4 months I can be at goal weight too!
