Dawn ~ I think you're right on the eggs for breakfast but I think you are supposed to double your P2 proteins for the day, i.e. 200 grams for lunch and dinner as well as your normal veggies and fruits???

It's a good idea to transition slowly, but I should take my own advice! I'm always so excited to eat P3 that I usually have scrambled eggs with HWC, cheddar cheese, and sour cream - OMG YUM!!!!

Off to the dentist for my little one after getting my kids off to a late start day due to the snow we had last night. Yes, it snowed again here in SC!!! It must be a new record!! Twice in one winter!!!!
Holy cow you've done awesome this round! Those are numbers that my 11 year old son is close to Good for you Dawn!! How did your body reshape this time? Mine seems to do MAJOR reshaping in P3 for some reason.

I have not done a transition day so I don't know for sure how it works!!! I just jump right in too!!! I am too excited not to!!!!

As for rshaping, I am in much smaller jeans and my arms are no longer huge!!! I am thrilled. I called this a reshaping round and just should have called it a round. I just needed to lose more weight. My 13 year old (who will be 14 on Sat) is amazed that my jeans size is what some of the girls at his school wear. He told me this morning as he hugged me (when I told him I weighed in at 112!!!!) that "it feels like I am hugging one of my friends!!" You are so tiny!! I cannot believe my teenager called me tiny!! Never ever thought that would happen!!! I am telling you he is a charmer. I don't find myself changing shape as I move to P3 or P4. Or at least have not noticed it the last 2 rounds. I don't know why. But all my reshaping has happened while in P2. I think I will remeasure my waist and hips this weekend to see what inches I have shaved off. Thanks for asking!!

A question

At the end of phase 2, is my "final weight" what I weighed on the last day I took the HCG or the last day I did VLCD? I had based my weight loss stats on my last VLCD weight, and I ask because I just read this in P&I:
"As long as their weight stays within two pounds of the weight reached on the day of the last injection, patients should take no notice of any increase but the moment the scale goes beyond two pounds, even if this is only a few ounces, they must on that same day entirely skip breakfast and lunch but take plenty to drink. In the evening they must eat a huge steak with only an apple or a raw tomato."
Thanks.

Hello Everyone ~ Even though you all may not have heard from me in a long time, I am still plugging along on HCG! My first round was 40 days and I lost 27.6 pounds; Gained some back during P3 and now this round I am on P2 Day 23 and I've lost 18.8 pounds so far and hit TOM in the second week ~ so I'm pretty happy about that loss. I am going to go until 3 days before my birthday (March 20) and see how much more I can get off! People are starting to call me skinny ~ Go figure! Congratulations on all of your losses!

One quick question....what did y'all put on your salad for dressing? I've read somewhere (can't remember if it was here) where some folks are using Walden Farms but those contain Splenda...isn't Splenda a no-no?

You can find some recipes for P2 protocol friendly dressings. But I have used the Walden Farms dressings and really had to choke down the lettuce. When I started not liking the "salad" I gave up on lettuce in my rounds. I prefer to have other veggies that don't have to be so doctored up to taste good!

I use Walden Farms Honey Dijon and also their Bacon something... can't remember. I don't have any problem with them - they are no sugar/carbs/calories. I think the honey dijon is just vinegar and mustard??

I'll tell you what always saves me in P2 - the chili! Take your 100 grams of lean beef and brown it in skillet - add 1/2 can of no salt added tomatoes (just plain - be careful of ingredients) - chili powder, salt-n-pepper. Then I pour it over a bed of romaine lettuce for an instant taco salad with my melba toast - yummy! I use the tomato as my fruit and the lettuce as the veggie for the meal. TO DIE FOR!

As for splenda, some people use it with no problems and others stall on it - just a personal thing! I don't like splenda very much so I use sweet-n-low or stevia.

Hmmmmm, maybe measure now and then after P3 to see if there is any difference. I seem to lose mad inches in P3 and totally reshape. I think it's something about our fat that we still have redistributes throughout our body and kind of "evens" things back out. I'm sure your whole family is proud of your accomplishments!

Great Job!!! Seriously, someone called me "tiny" last week - I almost died laughing! I'm 190 pounds at 5'-7" tall but I guess the hcg is taking the fat from my worst body parts!

Thanks! I'm going by the store on my way home tonight to grab the last 2-3 things I need to be ready for P2 tomorrow. I don't plan to eat salad every day but when I have to be on the road traveling I thought it would be much easier to have that option. That taco salad recipe sounds delicious....I'll definitely be giving that a try!

Hello everyone!

I used to post here a while back on the original HCG thread. I started HCG in November 2008. My highest weight was 225 pounds. I lost a little doing low carb and then started HCG. After my first loading, I was 217 pounds. I did the protocol in phases up to May of 2009 and I lost over 60 pounds. I have been maintaining between 149(LDW) and 156 since last year. I am now starting a new round with the hubby. I am currently loading and will start VLCD #1 either tomorrow or Friday. My goal is to reach somewhere in the 130s which I have never been in my whole adult life. I would like this to be officially my last round and not have to do two short rounds, but I'll see how things progress.

If any newbies to HCG have any questions, I will happy to help out if I can. I did sublingual for the 60 pounds that I lost, but I decided to do HHCG for this round with the hubs. I'm not that familiar with HHCG, but I decided to try it because of all the success stories.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. The old thread was a great motivator and I'm happy that this thread(topic) is still going strong!

Thanks!!

I'm a little nervous because of the times that I will be taking the drops. I will have to dose about 8:30am, take the second dose at about 5:30pm, and the last dose before bedtime. The time frame between the first and second dose is going to be long, but that is the only way I can do it because I can't take the bottle to work. I'm just worried because of the hunger factor, but I've felt hunger before so this is not new.

I'm glad you all did so well! HCG is the best!

You could consider putting your dose in a small container and keeping it cool in a small cooler or thermos. I do shots, and you can get insulated diabetic travel kits that have a place for you to keep liquid meds cool. You might be able to figure out something similar for your drops if you think about it.

On the plus side, I remembered to take my first shot today. Here we go.

I work in the service industry and we don't have lockers. Just aprons with no pockets. We do have a refrigerator and I will be bringing my lunch everyday. Can you keep HHCG in the fridge? I don't want to leave it in the car due to the heat. If I can keep it in the fridge, than the dosing times won't be an issue.

Hello guys n gals.

I've been doing Atkins since Jan. 18 will minimal results [this is my second go round with Atkins] and lately everywhere I turn it seems I'm reading about the HCG program. I decided to research this and have been reading the book POUNDS AND INCHES [about half way through it, dang it is LONG!], reading all the posts I can find here and reading articles and watching youtube vids about it!

I'm about 99% sure I'm gonna go for it and have tentatively decided on April 8 to start. Seems it takes a lot of planning and preparation and I still haven't found where I want to purchase the drops or spray. What's the diff, anyone know? Would a 'kit' be best since I've never done this before? It program seems quite detailed and exact and I don't want to screw it up.

I've got over 100lbs to lose which will be a long journey and many 'rounds'. If anyone has lost or is losing that amount of weight, I'd love to hear about it.

So, just lurking and learning for now and saying HELLO!

Marci

I just ordered my first hhcg order...the drops. I'm excited to give this a try! It looks sooooo promising.

Does anyone know if there's a thread or post listing info for people who are just getting started?

Thanks so much! I look forward to the journey!!

Marci
Hey Marci!! Good to see you over here. We cannot tell you where to get hcg, but I can tell you that I have done well with the homeopathic formula. I gave you that info earlier. Do you still have it? No kit to buy, unless you want to get the Rx. Welcome aboard and you will have a great time here!! Oh, and the best part of the diet is the loading--what a way to say good bye to some of your favorite foods!!!! Oh, and I love the youtube vids too. So great they are around!!!

to Hcg!!! I am so glad you have decided to give this a try!! I have seen you post elsewhere and want to shout to everyone who is "stuck" to give this a try! I decided to give it 2 weeks (just like Atkins asks for his plan) and after I lost my loading weight on the very first day I was hooked. Now, 40 pounds later I am psyched with my tiny new body and results I have gotten. No sagging skin and my son is amazed with my arm physique!!! You can actually see my muscles--and this was all done without exercise!!! This is the only thread on LCFs for Hcg so no threads for those who are just starting. Just post here and your questions will get answered (eventually!!). Good luck and hope your wait for your Hhcg is a short one. Once I ordered I could NOT wait to start!! I wanted to start sooner than NOW!!!

I don't wear makeup so I am not sure but as long as your makeup is NOT oil based you can still use it. I switched my facial soap and moisturizer to a non-oil based one while on P2. I had to switch from my beloved (Much beloved) coconut oil to Neutrogena oil free formulas.

Daily check-in

Good morning All . Today is R3P4D8, and my weight is 179.8 lbs., a .6 lb. loss from yesterday. Today is OATMEAL day. Just had my oatmeal, and boy it was good. Yesterday I ate 2598 calories and still lost weight. I got back to my walking so I believe that's helping. Don't think I'll be losing today, because I got those oatmeal carbs going today. I'll be happy to just maintain. I'll probably cut out some fruit, and add a few boiled eggs just to keep the fats up. Gotta go, tonight I'll try and catch up, thanks again for all your support.

Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day

should be just fine in your lunch box!! i don't see where keeping it in the fridge would be a problem and sure would help you not having to go so long between times!
