Simeon's protocol (HCG Diet) February 2010 THREAD
Though we know everyone wants to help support people through the Simeon's Protocol (HCG) diet, we recommend you consult a physician before starting any diet plan. Since no one can possibly know the medical history of the members here, dispensing medical advice is not allowed. This is for the protection of both the member giving the advice as well as the member receiving the advice. LCF wants to keep everyone safe. We would also like to point out that hCG is a controlled substance and requires a doctor's written prescription. Online sales of hCG may be illegal in some states. Therefore, we must request that you not post where or how you are obtaining your hCG products. Our ToS state "any material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, result in civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law is prohibited." Good Morning everyone!!! My losses this weekend were back and forth. I didn't lose or gain anything on Saturday morning, lost 1.1 Sunday morning and then gained .2 this morning. However, this weekend was crazy busy. My HCG dosing schedule was all messed up and I know I didn't get all my water in yesterday. Also, we had roast for dinner yesterday, and all though I tried to cut all the fat off before I cooked it, it was more fatty that I probably should of had.
So, I'm going to drink a ton of water today, and hope for a good loss tomorrow. This is the beginning of week 3, after reading some of y'all's posts, I'm a little scared. Have a great day everyone. |
Hello, all, I'm new to this thread.
This is day one of low calorie for me, I did loading on Sat and Sun. (I'm doing hhcg.) Off to fix my stats, have a great day, everyone! |

Question - I am doing the HHCG. I know with the injections, you are suppose to do 6 weeks between rounds due to immunity issues. Does anyone know if it is the same for HHCG? I am wondering if I can finish this 40 day round, then do three weeks of P3, load for two days and then do another 40 day round, then another 3 weeks of P3 and another 40 day round? I would like to get in as many rounds a possible before summer - beach vacation. LOL!! I wasn't sure if immunity is an issue with HHCG or not.
|
klittle- I just noticed that you & I started at the same time- I to am starting my 3rd week on P2R1 and have had great results thus far... couple days here & there with no loss or even a slight gain but for the most part the whole journey has been fabulous like everyone said it would be- so to all the newbees just starting on their 1st week hang tough, work the protocol and you WILL see results and great ones to!! Best of luck all!!

I do rx injections, so no help there, but Dawn is our hhcg expert. She'll know. |
question again?!?! teehee I know on protocol every once in awhile you can have 1 whole egg and 3 whites for your protein @ a meal- it says either baked, poached or soemthing else do you think it is ok to eat hardboiled ones also- 1 whole one and 3 whites? It would just make it alot easier for me to eat these @ work this way or do you think hardboiling them changes something??? any advice people? I am already getting sick of eating meat since I'm not much into that and I'm only on week 3...

I'll try to find out the egg answer. |

Anyhow, what you are referring to is cycling...some people do it and some don't. We homeopathic users are to follow the same rules as the Rx do. That includes the breaks in between. It is best to follow the original plan as written by Dr. S. However, if you want to change it, know that it can effect your stabilization later on. I personally have not done it and am not sure of anyone who did. I just don't remember who has done it so maybe someone who did can chime in!! |

(This is from a nutritional standpoint, I'm not a protocol expert by any means, having just started three days ago!) |
SherBel- welcome to the thread- you will love all the help & support here as you start this way of life- it's fabulous and good luck !!

Hi everyone. So glad to have found this site! I started HCG for the first time on 1/8/2010, with two days of loading, so VLCD stated 1/10/10. Since my weight on day 1 of VLCD, I have lost 18.2 pounds! I'm halfway through and after struggling and wanting to eat everything in sight for the first 2 weeks (more out of boredom and a sense of deprivation than hunger), I feel like I can make it through to the end of this round and P3 is going to seem almost unrestricted! (I've also done Atkins Induction before so I assume it will be similar). A few things I'd like to bounce off of you guys...
1. I work a lot, so one of the hardest things for me is having to cook every meal (in small portions so I don't eat too much) and gathering all the raw produce and doing something with it. Have any of you tried making batches of food and then portioning it cooked? Like, 3 oz instead of 3.52 oz? 2. Similarly, does anyone used canned products? I bought some organic tomato puree that lists its only ingredients as "organic tomatoes and sea salt." Would this (or any other canned product) be safe to use? I noticed the label said 1/4 cup has 20 cals and 3g of "sugars." But there is nothing on the label so.... I just feel like I'm working so hard that to mess it up now would be devastating. But I spend all my free time weighing food and cooking mini portions...and all my dishes are always dirty! Any help would be appreciated. Glad to be here! |

and yup i have used canned tomatoes all the way though just read all the ingredients listed i think tomatoes naturally have 3 g of sugar so if it has more per portion don't use it on P2 or P3 |
Hi Everyone. Today is day 16 on diet and have lost 14 pounds. I didn't lose anything Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I guess it was the common stall. I lost .5 today.
I was reading about the P3 Bootcamp and I really wish I can join. My last 2 P3 didn't go well. I gained weight each time and didn't stabilize. I have a question. I only have enough HCG to finish Friday a total of 20 days. I want to go on to 40 days but I placed an order somewhere else and I am not sure I will get it on time to continue without interruption. So I wanted to know can I continue with the 500 calories without shots for about 3 days and then continue with the shots and VLCD as normal or it won't work. I can always go back to the clinic to get an extra 10 days. |
I think pre-measuring and cooking proteins is a great idea; in fact this evening I'm going to do just that.
I've got a non-George Foreman grill that works great....but the grill pans can't be removed and it's hideously annoying and difficult to clean. For those with the "real" George Foreman grills, do you like them? Are they easy to clean? I'm seriously thinking of getting one, although I hate replacing appliances that work. (I could donate my old one, though.) |

Love love my george foreman- I got a pretty big size one and it is wonderful- cooks fast- meat is very juicy and a snap to clean up.... when I am done cooking with mine I unplug it, put a couple wet paper towels on the griddle, close the lid, eat my meal and then when I go back to clean it up use the paper towel to wipe most of it up- super slick and easy....
|
I also love my George Foreman. My faucet have a pull out sprayer so I just bring the GF by the sink with the bottom part mostly inside. I just use a brush while I am spraying water on it. Then I just dry it with paper towel. I think is so easy. I clean it while it still hot, I find it is faster and easier.

Hey everyone...no change today. Still 142.0
Tired, hope everyone wakes to a loss in the morning!! |
