How do you go from working at Pullman PD to owning your own coffee shop in MN? That seems far fetched! LOL

I bought the P90X back in August but couldn't do it because I my shoulder. I had rotator kuff surgery on September and I haven't been clear to work out until now. Actually I was clear to work out my abs and lower body not my arms yet. Well, funny I decided to try the Cardio and Abs Riper DVD from P90X yesterday. Needless to say I couldn't do everything. So basically you need to be in some kind of shape to do the system, is not for beginners. I don't think I will try it again until P3. |

Good Morning everyone. I decided to go to the gym on Saturday and yesterday only lost .3 and yesterday I did a couple of the P90X videos and today only lost .1. I drank 4 litters of water besides doing everything per protocol exept yesterday I didn't eat one fruit. Today for the first time in all my rounds I skipped the shot. I haven't done it before but this is my 3rd round and I am not sure if my body is getting immune. Any suggestions/advise??? I was a bit scare about not injecting, I really don't want to mess this round. I still have 20 pounds to go.
Last week I was prescribed an antibiotic but I took just one and felt so sick I didn't take anymore. But antibiotics always messed up my system so even tho it was only one I took probiotics right away so I am not sure if the probiotics are the cause of not much loss. I won't take them today. |

By the way I should have Tom coming up soon but the first time I did this diet and my doctor told me I could go all the way to 53 days (without skipping any injections) I didn't get my period. I guess the HCG got my hormones all mess up. So it will be interesting to know what happens now, I am late by a week already.

Daily check-in
Good morning All. Today is R3P3D5, and my weight is 180.5 lbs., a 1 lb. gain from yesterday. Not bad considering I ate about 3500 calories yesterday. Still alot of moving around yesterday, so I couldn't eat as well as I should have. At least for the next few days I can eat P3, Thursday is my 26th wedding anniversary, which I informed DW that dinner will be a anniversary/valentine dinner, because I'm getting tried of looking at desserts in the menu's, and not eating them. DW understands, she's doing a interruption until the 14th, then back on the juice for about another 10 days. I'll try and catch up with you guys later.
Everyone have a great and INTENTIOAL day |

Oh, Em I love tilapia. That was the fish I chose while on P2 also. I have some in the freezer from last P2 that is just waiting to be cooked again tomorrow while I am on my VLCD #1 for my 3rd and final round!! Cannot wait to get to losing again!! Congrats on getting below your LDW. I hope to not get too high over my LDW this last loading day. But I do know it will come back off!!!! Now I have to stuff my face with yummy goodness. Don't know how I will do it though---I am so not hungry!! Ugh!!!

Good Morning everyone!! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I had a .2 loss Saturday, a .9 loss Sunday, but then a .7 gain today. That is the most that I have gained in P2. The only thing I can think is that I had some Divinci's sugar free white chocolate syrup over my strawberries and in a glass of seltzer water. I guess I will lay off that for now. Hopefully with lots of water today, I will lose that .7 by tomorrow.

Hi all,
I've been taking HCG for exactly three weeks today (including load days) on my first round of sublingual HCG, and I'm down 20.8 pounds. Praise to God and Dr. Simeons!!!! ![]() ![]() That was a great superbowl game yesterday. Loved it. Hope everyone is having a great day! |

I'm following the diet listed in Dr. Simeons' book, Pounds and Inches except I'm doing sublingual instead of injected HCG. My protein in 3.5 oz. skinless chicken breast. To this I add one Melba toast, either an apple or orange, and either steamed fresh broccoli or frozen spinach, frozen broccoli, or frozen green beans.
Hope that helps!!!! Edited to add:

Thank you Winks for the info. I might try doing just chicken for my protein. I eat p2 chili, as it makes a quick and easy lunch while at work. But maybe I need to cut that out. Usually the P2 chili is the only beef I have, otherwise I eat mostly chicken. I have had cottage cheese occasionally when I just can't stand the thought of more chicken. LOL!! Broccoli sounds good!!! I didn't realize we could have that in P2, I might have to try it!!
I wonder if I might be fighting a set point too. I am just about the same weight that I was when I got pregnant with my son, I'm not sure to the exact lb, but I know I was in the low 250's. I also don't know how long I was at that weight, but probably for awhile. (Scales weren't my friend then, so we rarely visited eachother). Thank you for the sample menu!! |

Question for the pros- I am starting week 4 today on P2 and for some reason I have totally no energy or get go today.... did any of you notice that all all after a couple 2,3 weeks? I am taking a sublingual B12 supplement once a day and that is the only vitamin I have taken since starting the protocol... I feel like I've run a marathon and am totally drained and I really haven't done diddly squat? any ideas or thoughts ??

Hello everyone! It has been a long time. I am under 150lbs and trying to get lower each day.
For those who don't know me - I lost around 35lbs on a 40 day cycle and a 21 day cycle. I maintained for 5 months and now losing again on my own. I am here to see if any of you heard about the Government banning hCG? My friends (who have done it as well) said that is what they have been hearing. I guess the government isn't getting paid from it and wants it banned. I hope this is a rumor. Anyone hear about this?

In defense of broccoli, lol
Quote:
You are absolutely right, neither broccoli nor green beans is on Dr. Simeons' list. (I'd actually forgotten that.) He wrote, "One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage." A friend of mine is going to one of those expensive HCG diet doctors, and his food list is much longer than Dr. S's. Since I do love broccoli (it's rich in calcium!) and green beans, and since both of these veggies are on this diet doctor's list of accepted veggies, I decided to see how I did at HCG weight loss while eating them. Everything has been going extremely well, so I've continued enjoying them. |

I know Coconut Oil is not on P2 but have read other places that people have used a small amount with good results. I was just wondering if any of you use it and how it has affected your weight loss.

Hello all! Stalled at 171.2 this morning, but not surprised; I had trouble sleeping last night and ate my meals on kind of a wonky schedule. Plus I went back on drops yesterday thinking my period was done (but cheeky TOM came right back with a vengeance today to remind me he's not through yet), so I figured it might be throwing a little blip at my body. Plus this is right around my lowest set point for the past few years, so I won't be surprised if it takes a couple of days to break through. Tons of water and intentionality today, so hoping it's gone by tomorrow morning, otherwise my impatient self has plenty of apples to speed things along

Perhaps the homoepathic HCG isn't mobilizing your body's stored fat. If that's the case, it would mean you're basically doing a very low calorie, very low fat diet. I know that whenever I'm on a lowfat diet, after a couple weeks, I feel quite weak and unhealthy. Perhaps you'd have better results if you change to non-homeopathic HCG. Best wishes to you. |

Plus all this cold and snowy weather that alone starts to drain me by Feb. and believe me it has been one long miserable winter here in ND..... sooooo looking forward to the hot temps of summer again @ the lakes ~~ I can only dream of it about now under all this snow....teehee anyhow we'll see how I feel tomorrow.... I think my problem is I am due for a nice vacation somewhere WARM.....

Hi, anybody with experience with interruption? Today is day 23 and I didn't inject this morning, just skipping for immune purposes. Well, I went to see my doctor and she prescribed me again antibiotics and a fungal medication. She said both are very strong and I need to eat a lot before taking them 3 times a day. I can't do the VLCD diet and take this medication because I normally don't eat breakfast and I have to. So I thought I will take a 10 day break. I already didn't do well today because at the time I finished with the doctor and bought the medication it was 5PM. So I ate my dinner about 530P so I can take the antibiotic. Then I have to take the other medication about 9P but I didn't think a fruit or grissini will be enough and it was all I have left to eat so I made a 3 egg omelet (1 full egg and 2 eggs white) with onions. So I already messed up the diet for today. Should I do the VLCD diet tomorrow except I need to add eggs for breakfast to take the med. Or should I eat Atkins induction for the next 10 days or go to P3 no sugar no starch. This medication got me all confused. I was prescribed an antibiotic last week and I just took one with lunch and felt so sick I didn't take anymore. I thought I could go without it but my infection got worse and now I needed additional medication so I made myself worse in a way. Got different antibiotic and so far I haven't feel sick. Doctor told me to take probiotics at least 3 times a day. Help!! This is R3 and I have never done an interruption before.
