Well for some reason I magically gained 3 lbs overnite. I really don't understand because I ate the same menu that I had eaten on Friday which netted a 2lb loss?!!!? Cutting out the apple today and gonna work on sticking to clean P2 eating with lots of water and hope this blip is gone by tomorrow!!
JayJay, it seems like you do a lot of shifting around of your menus to look for answers to little blips. Maybe you could try just keeping a consistent protocol menu with everything on it and see if , over a few days straight, your body likes it better. Just a thought...hope your blip clears up!

No, no TOM issues now. This is my second round, my body just really resists releasing. Ihad problems last round with apples, so that is why I thought I would try and see how I did with them. I sub in strawberries instead.

I know. I just think that maybe since I only have a little to release (15 lbs) that it may just take longer. That combined with my crazy metabolism!!!

I was literally shaking with hunger.

I have to get some food pre-prepared, last night was not pleasant. And of course I was cooking a mushroom cheeseburger with roasted potatoes for my hubby as all this was happening....argghhhh.

I'm going to try to rescue the 'salty' hamburger/cabbage mixure, it was 400 grams of hamburger! Possibly a soup that I can portion out and freeze...we'll see.
Sorry you don't feel well, but hey congrats on the 3 lb release!!!

Hey there VLCD buddy! Great job on getting to your goal, losing 35 in just 5 AND being a size 3! I too reached my goal and will be joining you in the hard work maintaining. Best wishes for a wonderful ... and stable ... P3!

Thanks for the update. My Linda book arrived last night. Since I've done the protocol three times now there wasn't much in it for me but I think it will be useful as a guideline for P3 and to share with friends who want to do the protocol. I especially liked the section describing the different ways to do HCG and how to choose which one.

Hi and welcome! Great 3lb loss!

Glad to see you here! Welcome and well done on losing 18 lbs so far. You totally can make it through the round. Just come here for support when you need it!

WooHoo on seeing a weight from your early twenties!! I'm joining you today on the VLCD/no-HCG days! Let us know how it goes with bootcamp. I spent a lot of time there during my last P3 and before it became a paid service. One thing to keep in mind ... their focus tends to be high fat and if you have trouble stabilizing they recommend trying raw. Neither of these worked for me. I cannot do high fat ... the cream cheese muffins are a sure fire way for me to gain lbs overnight ... others can eat 6 in a day and be OK. So, I guess what I'm saying is it's great for being accountable, seeing what works for others and getting advice from old pros BUT temper that will being intentional about your own body and your intuition about what is right for you.
Good luck with P3 ... I'll be right along side you as of Friday. Right here is where I am being accountable.

As you've already heard ... eating more can sometimes mean better success as stabilizing - go figure!

Yay for 40winks getting mucho winks last night! HCG does that for me too!

You're doing great with your interruption. I hope my P3 goes as well!

WooHoo - a great loss ... and ... over 80 lbs total! That's amazing! Love hearing about your friends doing so well too!

Hi and well done on your great progress so far! I personally prefer short rounds with interruptions and think they work better in the long run for maximizing the shedding. I am sure others will share their opinions too.

I had a similar experience the last few days. Was eating clean and gaining. Today I lost it all and all I did was skip a grissini at dinner last night. You may find it was just water fluctuation from fat moving. I think water weighs more so when your fat cells empty the fat and then fill with water you weigh more for that day.

Sorry you had a rough week ... here's to a few more days of VLCD and then P3 - some yummy P3 goodies should make you feel better.

Just wanted to say 'Hi' - I've been off for a few days so didn't get to say it before.

A trip to Mexico is soooo great! I absolutely love going to Cabo ... where are you going. You are going to be a skinny minnie in 5 weeks.

Remember the water fluctuations Simeon mentioned. I've found this to definitely be a factor, more so this round than in previous rounds. If you're eating clean then a small blip should correct itself in the next few days.
.........
Will post my LDW etc upate later - just wanted to catch up on my convos with everyone! Hope you're all having a wonderful Wednesday.
I am thinking you may be right. Well I am hoping!!!!
Congrats on your loss!!!!!

Thanks for the input Em. I usually eat the same thing every day. I tried the egg whites this weekend and had really good results (2lb release the next day). That being said, I know there are so many other factors involved in releasing these stubborn lbs.
Have fun planning for Mexico!! We are going skiing next month and I am hoping to be in P4 and hopefully 15 lbs lighter!!!

I'm happy to see that 179.5, I never thought that I would ever, ever see that number again in my life. The last time I seen that weight, I was probably in my early twenties. Only with hCG was this possible. My LIW is 180.5 lbs. and I'm happy with that. Gotta go now, see you all later. Won't be on much later, I'll be looking for furniture for Mom again.

End of P2 Update

Yesterday was VLCD #22 and officially my last day. Took my last drops at 9pm last night so this morning my LDW was 110 - exactly my goal (or should I say revised goal).

This is my first HHCG round so I just want to confirm on the 48hrs without drops. If I took my last drops at 9pm last night, that means I could theoretically have my first P3 meals on Thursday at 9pm - right? Since I don't usually eat after 7pm at night I guess my first P3 meal will be breakfast on Friday.

First day without drops has been fine. No real hunger at all - hope tomorrow is the same.

Now let's hope my body is happy to stabilize at 110-112. I am excited and nervous about P3 but I have printed out the ****** records of what I ate each day during my last successful P3 and plan to follow those. I have seen Dawn and others say every P3 is different but hopefully it works again.

Someone posted about TOM being early ... my last one arrived after just 18 days!!! TOM is all over the place for me when on HHCG. Once it was 45 days.

I didn't realize until after my first drops, so I'm going to take hcg today, and then go off it until the menstrual monster of hunger returns (which is what I did last round and spent I think two days off drops).
SO glad I had a big WHOOSH (thank you Dawn!), especially considering this is week 3 and I may have some period stalls. This is quite good motivation! I'm also right back where I was before my cheat gain, so I'm completely back on track!

Also, more motivation: I'm going to MEXICO with my sister in 5 weeks as it turns out, so as if the play i'm in in April (which is using costumes promoting "heightened sexuality," - grrrrr) isn't enough reason to never reach for the reese's again, now I have four days in a bikini to get super pumped about! (And believe me, I am super mega excited!) But I'll be on p3 by then which will be great and i've already looked at the menus of the place we're staying and I should be just fine

SUCH A GOOD MOOD! Have great losses and maintains and shrinkages today everyone! <3!!!
Em ,your a beautiful girl and seem to loss a lot like your mom which is great !. Your going to look hot in you bikini on the beach Mexico ,I just know, I hear you determination .

I am sure no matter where you go you will be having fun, because you seem to approach life that way , so it couldn't be any other way .

okay, just have to share a P2 dessert recipe that i found from another board and tried out. it is like dancing with delicious and completely satisfying for the sweet tooth/chocolate craving!
this is not my recipe, just my tweaks and i'm makin' it again when the sweet monster comes to attack!

2T Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate cocoa powder (total 10 calories)
2t davinci sugar-free white chocolate syrup
a respectable speck of stevia
a dab of water

combine all ingredients and mix well. Should be the consistency of frosting. The original recipe said to freeze the concoction so that it resembles 'bark.' I, on the other hand, could not resist gobbling it down immediately. This tastes like chocolate frosting and is SOOOOOO good; and the best part is that it's P2 friendly - YIPPEEEE!

Good morning All. Today is R3P3D1, and my weight is 179 lbs., a loss of .5 lbs. from yesterday. And now the fun begins, maintaining. P3 can a little tricky for me, so I'll have to be careful. I'm looking forward to my P3 foods. I need to be INTENTIONAL, because this should be my last P3.
I'll try and get back today not promising anything.
Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day, keep losing Pounds and Inches.

I an issue to figure out. Yesterday my only bottle of HHCG leapt from my kitchen counter of its own free will and crashed to the floor. Of course it shattered and spilled all over the floor. I am only 11 days on VLCD. I am reordering but that will take a few days to arrive. What do I do in the meantime?? When my new bottle arrives do I continue as if there has been no interruption or do I need to reload and start all over?

This upsets me so much because I am down a net of 10 lbs and I don't want to mess this up.

mrscapiii- wow that is to bad & I to like you would be VERY frustrated as well maybe some of the experts on here can give you some info on what to do- I'm only on vlcd#18 so by no means an expert.... hope you get some answers and I'm sure you will. Also I have a question for the pros- I saw on another website they had a recipe for Protein pancakes.... it was using an egg, spices, and low carb (2-3 carbs) protein powder to make a pancake and they said it was acceptable for Ph2? Wondering how this would be compared to meat- I am already sooo sick of meat so this really caught my eye... has anyone here used a low carb no sugar protein powder instead of the usual fish or meat allowed? tks for any advice all

With only 11 days under your belt I'm afraid you have to start over In the meantime I would STAY VERY P2 with a few added fats (butter, cream in your coffee, sour cream on your veggies). I'm not sure about whether or not you'll have to reload...if you're eating some fats hopefully you wouldn't have to. This is all just my opinion and what *I* would do. Hopefully you'll get more opinions. So sorry this happened! I know it's so frustrating when you're off to a good start and something comes along that could derail you if you let it. Be grateful that you're starting over with 10 pounds already gone

This upsets me so much because I am down a net of 10 lbs and I don't want to mess this up.
well the first thing would be you are okay for 48 hours on vlcd(same as if you were interrupting or ending a round) then up your calories, and i don't know maybe do P3 style eating until your hhcg gets there and go right back on it just like an interruption
i am so sorry this happened to you!!

Hi everyone,

I'm on vlcd-16 of my first round of sublingual HCG and I continue to lose well. I'm 18 pounds lighter than my start day. Dropped a full pound yesterday which is double my recent daily average. The HCG definitely is mobilizing my stubborn abnormal fat deposits. My thighs are noticably thinner.

What I'm doing: I get all my calories in two meals (no snacks) and stick to Simeons food lists and quantities (except that I've added green beans to my list of veggies). For tasty "treats" I use no-caffeine herbal tea, especially Celestrial Seasons, with Sweet and Low.

Although some of the HCG recipes look awfully good, they'll have to wait because right now I'm only interested in losing the Pounds and Inches.

Hope everyone is doing great!!!!

Okay this is from Simeon's manuscript:

Unforeseen Interruptions of Treatment
If an interruption of treatment lasting more than four days is necessary, the patient must increase his diet to at least 800 Calories by adding meat, eggs, cheese, and milk to his diet after the third day, as otherwise he will find himself so hungry and weak that he is unable to go about his usual occupation. If the interval lasts less than two weeks the patient can directly resume injections and the 500-Calorie diet, but if the interruption lasts longer he must again eat normally until he has had his third injection.

When a patient knows beforehand that he will have to travel and be absent for more than four days, it is always better to stop injections three days before he is due to leave so that he can have the three days of strict dieting which are necessary after the last injection at home. This saves him from the almost impossible task of having to arrange the 500 Calorie diet while en route, and he can thus enjoy a much greater dietary freedom from the day of his departure. Interruptions occurring before 20 effective injections have been given are most undesirable, because with less than that number of injections some weight is liable to be regained. After the 20th injection an unavoidable interruption is merely a loss of time.

I do that too ... whenever I'm going to travel or a restaurant I check out the menus to see what I can eat. Planning definitely helps but you'll need some strong willpower to resist all the yummy tortilla chips with guac! Just have fun tho'.

WTG on shedding another pound and being sniffing distance from fresh territory!

this is not my recipe, just my tweaks and i'm makin' it again when the sweet monster comes to attack!

YUMMY! Who doesn't love chocolate frosting!

I'm looking forward to my P3 foods. I need to be INTENTIONAL, because this should be my last P3. I'll try and get back today not promising anything.
Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day, keep losing Pounds and Inches.

Candy, thanks for your kind words, and stabilizing is the hardest part for me. Thats why I joined Bootcamp, I see you went through it, I would like you to tell me more about it. When your in the neigborhood drop me a line.
You'll do fine in P3 - you have the right INTENTIONAL attitude! The problem with bootcamp and their recommendation to eat very high fat is that they suggest eating things like avocados and coconut oil and these are both things that I am allergic too so eating them in large quantities was just a recipe for disaster. Their methodology works very well for lots of people so I'm sure it will work for you! Maybe mine was just a specific case of allergy/low tolerance for high fat. I'll be interested in your observations.

Post-HHCG 48HR Day 2 Update

Today is day #2 of 48hrs - still no real hunger! Dropped 0.6 this morning to 109.4. If anyone had told me that I would ever weigh under 110 lbs I would have laughed at them! I know I probably won't stay here once I start eating P3 but seeing that number on the scale - even for a day - is a real trip!

Happy shedding or maintaining everyone!

Everyone is doing so well! Down a 1lb after no loss yesterday.

I'm sorry Cleoland. It's sounds like you can pick up in a couple of days, so all is not lost.

I love the fast loss on this diet and I don't feel dizzy as I did on the K....r diet. Hope its okay to mention the K name...lol.

The fat loss is the best part--it is why we all do it right?? It is OK to say Kimmer here. NO worries. There is a thread dedicated to her!! The reason you don't feel dizzy is because of the hcg. It is the best!!!!

You are just so awesome!!! How wonderful for you to see a number you never thought you would see!! Gives me hope for my next round!!!! After the Hhcg, I had no hunger either during those dreaded 48 hours! Also even at breakfast when I started P3!! Funny how that works out to be All you do in P2 is dream of all the cheese and eggs you can have in P3 and then once you get there, you don't want it!! Enjoy!!!

Sorry, when I did protocol I did it Simeon's way with the meat allowed. I totally am a "by the book" person and hope that everyone who comes across hcg realizes that that is the best way to do it! The way it was originally written. That includes using meat as your protein. 100 grams of protein is not a whole heck of a lot!!!! He even states that using some of the non-meat protein choices could cause your weight loss to slow. I hope you can find an answer to your question though!
