End of P2 Update
Yesterday was VLCD #22 and officially my last day. Took my last drops at 9pm last night so this morning my LDW was 110 - exactly my goal (or should I say revised goal).
This is my first HHCG round so I just want to confirm on the 48hrs without drops. If I took my last drops at 9pm last night, that means I could theoretically have my first P3 meals on Thursday at 9pm - right? Since I don't usually eat after 7pm at night I guess my first P3 meal will be breakfast on Friday. First day without drops has been fine. No real hunger at all - hope tomorrow is the same. Now let's hope my body is happy to stabilize at 110-112. I am excited and nervous about P3 but I have printed out the ****** records of what I ate each day during my last successful P3 and plan to follow those. I have seen Dawn and others say every P3 is different but hopefully it works again. Someone posted about TOM being early ... my last one arrived after just 18 days!!! TOM is all over the place for me when on HHCG. Once it was 45 days. -C

okay, just have to share a P2 dessert recipe that i found from another board and tried out. it is like dancing with delicious and completely satisfying for the sweet tooth/chocolate craving!
this is not my recipe, just my tweaks and i'm makin' it again when the sweet monster comes to attack! 2T Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate cocoa powder (total 10 calories) 2t davinci sugar-free white chocolate syrup a respectable speck of stevia a dab of water combine all ingredients and mix well. Should be the consistency of frosting. The original recipe said to freeze the concoction so that it resembles 'bark.' I, on the other hand, could not resist gobbling it down immediately. This tastes like chocolate frosting and is SOOOOOO good; and the best part is that it's P2 friendly - YIPPEEEE!

Daily check-in
Good morning All. Today is R3P3D1, and my weight is 179 lbs., a loss of .5 lbs. from yesterday. And now the fun begins, maintaining. P3 can a little tricky for me, so I'll have to be careful. I'm looking forward to my P3 foods. I need to be INTENTIONAL, because this should be my last P3.
I'll try and get back today not promising anything. Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day, keep losing Pounds and Inches. Quote:

I an issue to figure out. Yesterday my only bottle of HHCG leapt from my kitchen counter of its own free will and crashed to the floor. Of course it shattered and spilled all over the floor. I am only 11 days on VLCD. I am reordering but that will take a few days to arrive. What do I do in the meantime?? When my new bottle arrives do I continue as if there has been no interruption or do I need to reload and start all over?
This upsets me so much because I am down a net of 10 lbs and I don't want to mess this up.

mrscapiii- wow that is to bad & I to like you would be VERY frustrated as well
maybe some of the experts on here can give you some info on what to do- I'm only on vlcd#18 so by no means an expert.... hope you get some answers and I'm sure you will. Also I have a question for the pros- I saw on another website they had a recipe for Protein pancakes.... it was using an egg, spices, and low carb (2-3 carbs) protein powder to make a pancake and they said it was acceptable for Ph2? Wondering how this would be compared to meat- I am already sooo sick of meat so this really caught my eye... has anyone here used a low carb no sugar protein powder instead of the usual fish or meat allowed? tks for any advice all |

In the meantime I would STAY VERY P2 with a few added fats (butter, cream in your coffee, sour cream on your veggies). I'm not sure about whether or not you'll have to reload...if you're eating some fats hopefully you wouldn't have to. This is all just my opinion and what *I* would do. Hopefully you'll get more opinions. So sorry this happened! I know it's so frustrating when you're off to a good start and something comes along that could derail you if you let it. Be grateful that you're starting over with 10 pounds already gone![]() Quote:

Hi everyone,
I'm on vlcd-16 of my first round of sublingual HCG and I continue to lose well. I'm 18 pounds lighter than my start day. Dropped a full pound yesterday which is double my recent daily average. The HCG definitely is mobilizing my stubborn abnormal fat deposits. My thighs are noticably thinner. What I'm doing: I get all my calories in two meals (no snacks) and stick to Simeons food lists and quantities (except that I've added green beans to my list of veggies). For tasty "treats" I use no-caffeine herbal tea, especially Celestrial Seasons, with Sweet and Low. Although some of the HCG recipes look awfully good, they'll have to wait because right now I'm only interested in losing the Pounds and Inches. Hope everyone is doing great!!!! ![]() |

Unforeseen Interruptions of Treatment If an interruption of treatment lasting more than four days is necessary, the patient must increase his diet to at least 800 Calories by adding meat, eggs, cheese, and milk to his diet after the third day, as otherwise he will find himself so hungry and weak that he is unable to go about his usual occupation. If the interval lasts less than two weeks the patient can directly resume injections and the 500-Calorie diet, but if the interruption lasts longer he must again eat normally until he has had his third injection. When a patient knows beforehand that he will have to travel and be absent for more than four days, it is always better to stop injections three days before he is due to leave so that he can have the three days of strict dieting which are necessary after the last injection at home. This saves him from the almost impossible task of having to arrange the 500 Calorie diet while en route, and he can thus enjoy a much greater dietary freedom from the day of his departure. Interruptions occurring before 20 effective injections have been given are most undesirable, because with less than that number of injections some weight is liable to be regained. After the 20th injection an unavoidable interruption is merely a loss of time. |

Post-HHCG 48HR Day 2 Update
Today is day #2 of 48hrs - still no real hunger! Dropped 0.6 this morning to 109.4. If anyone had told me that I would ever weigh under 110 lbs I would have laughed at them! I know I probably won't stay here once I start eating P3 but seeing that number on the scale - even for a day - is a real trip!
Happy shedding or maintaining everyone! -C |

Everyone is doing so well! Down a 1lb after no loss yesterday.
I'm sorry Cleoland. It's sounds like you can pick up in a couple of days, so all is not lost. I love the fast loss on this diet and I don't feel dizzy as I did on the K....r diet. Hope its okay to mention the K name...lol. |

Funny how that works out to be All you do in P2 is dream of all the cheese and eggs you can have in P3 and then once you get there, you don't want it!! Enjoy!!! |

Sorry, when I did protocol I did it Simeon's way with the meat allowed. I totally am a "by the book" person and hope that everyone who comes across hcg realizes that that is the best way to do it! The way it was originally written. That includes using meat as your protein. 100 grams of protein is not a whole heck of a lot!!!! He even states that using some of the non-meat protein choices could cause your weight loss to slow. I hope you can find an answer to your question though!
