Today is day 15 and I have lost 13 pounds. I also have a trip on the 25th, but I would like to lose about 10 pounds before that.
You need to have at least 21 vlcds plus 48-72 hrs vlcd/no hcg before taking an interruption. Sorry, but I don't think you'll have enough time. But congrats on your 13 pounds! That's awesome!

Thank you for the information I was tempted to also take a break for Super Bowl but I don't have enough time. I am on day 17 diet but day 15 vlcd. Oh well, I am sure it was for the best. I would have probably go out of control.

good night everyone

Cleoland have you tried the P2 meatballs with some of the marinara sauce?/ you could have that for super bowl

Quote:
Mmm Mmm Meatballs

# 100g steak (ground into hamburger)
# 1 grissini (ground into powder)
# 1 T milk
# parsley
# onion powder
# basil
# oregano
# garlic
# salt
# pepper

1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. In bowl, combine all ingredients.
3. Form into 1" meatballs (makes about 6-7).
4. Place in baking dish or non-stick baking sheet and cook 10 minutes turning halfway through cooking time.

TIP: I usually use a glass baking dish to make these as they seem to want to stick less. Also, if you want to brown them more after cooking, you can broil them for 1-2 mins each side.

These also can be frozen in a freezer bag and then warmed up before serving. Makes a great quick meal!
Quote:
Marinara Sauce

# tomato
# water
# basil
# parsley
# onion powder
# garlic (fresh minced)
# salt
# pepper

1. Fill small saucepan with a few cups of water & bring to boil.
2. Score skin of tomato in a few places with serrated knife.
3. Blanch tomato in the boiling water for 1-2 mins.
4. Immediately transfer tomato to ice water to cool and discard boiling water.
5. Remove skin of tomato and discard skin.
6. Preheat small non-stick saucepan over MED-HI heat.
7. If want chunky sauce, crush tomato with your hands in saucepan (discard stem). If you prefer smoother sauce, puree tomato in blender or food processor then add to pan.
8. Add garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper.
9. Bring to low boil, then immediately reduce heat to low, cover & simmer for 15 mins, stirring often to keep tomato from sticking.
10. Turn heat up to MED.
11. Add parsley, more garlic, and basil.
12. Cook 5-10 more minutes, stirring constantly. While cooking, start adding water 1T at a time until it reaches your desired consistency. I usually end up adding 3-4T of water.

NOTE: Add any spices that you prefer to this. I don't really measure them, I just toss in a bit of each.
with a few celery sticks on the side i think it could make for some good snacking!! HTH

Yay...down .2lbs. Not much, but I'll take it!!!
I know that I have REALLY messed up my metabolism. That is why it is taking soooo long to release this weight. I hope I am down to 140 by the weekend. That is my LIW from November.
Not sure how long this round will be for me. I may take an interruption. Not sur yet. I am gonna take this journey day by day.

So glad to see all the sucess here!!!
KUTGW!!!

Daily check-in

Good morning All. Today is VLCD 2 w/o hCG of R3, and my weight is 179.5 lbs., a .5 lb. loss from yesterday. 24 hrs. left of the "dreaded 72 hrs" and I'll be on P3. I'm happy to see that 179.5, I never thought that I would ever, ever see that number again in my life. The last time I seen that weight, I was probably in my early twenties. Only with hCG was this possible. My LIW is 180.5 lbs. and I'm happy with that. Gotta go now, see you all later. Won't be on much later, I'll be looking for furniture for Mom again.
Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day.

Bob, Congratulations!!! Is such a great feeling, right. Please send me your step by step P3 when you are there, I will be checking your msgs every day cause I am going to need a lot of help. This is my R3 and I didn't stabilized the last 2 P3. I even gained more weight that when I started the first time I did this diet. Good luck with your 72hrs. By the way you are so lucky you will be in P3 for Super Bowl, you did plan it well

Update from me: After a rough week (traveling, being sick) and only netting a one pound loss, I am down 2 pounds overnight. My LDW will be on Sunday. I'm down 30.6 pounds on VLCD day 34.

Hey Jay Jay 3lbs over on P2? Are you sure Tom doesn't have anything to do with that. Are you cutting the apple but replacing it with another fruit? I don't think you should cut on food at all just drink pleanty of water (I drink 3 litters every day) and maybe go for a walk. You can do the apple a day. Good Luck!!

Fit, it must be the point of this diet we are at - dreaded week 3. I also only lost .2 today, that is after having two previous days with no loss. I dreamed I cheated last night... I was so happy when I woke up this morning and realized it was a dream!!! But darn, I can't remember what I ate to cheat and I at least want to know if it was good. LOL!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!

YAY! We are in the same boat!
After a slowwwww week and a big cheat and a three-day stall and generally feeling blah about this, I lost 2 lbs overnight! AND I got my period this morning which was no huge shock at all. I didn't realize until after my first drops, so I'm going to take hcg today, and then go off it until the menstrual monster of hunger returns (which is what I did last round and spent I think two days off drops).
SO glad I had a big WHOOSH (thank you Dawn!), especially considering this is week 3 and I may have some period stalls. This is quite good motivation! I'm also right back where I was before my cheat gain, so I'm completely back on track!

Also, more motivation: I'm going to MEXICO with my sister in 5 weeks as it turns out, so as if the play i'm in in April (which is using costumes promoting "heightened sexuality," - grrrrr) isn't enough reason to never reach for the reese's again, now I have four days in a bikini to get super pumped about! (And believe me, I am super mega excited!) But I'll be on p3 by then which will be great and i've already looked at the menus of the place we're staying and I should be just fine

SUCH A GOOD MOOD! Have great losses and maintains and shrinkages today everyone! <3!!!

Woke up this morning with a massive headache, ick. Down 3 pounds, though.

Last night I accidentally ruined my supper, (ground beef/cabbage) by oversalting it horribly. I started to eat and it was simply inedible. It was late, and I was practically weeping with hunger and frustration! I ended up making a whey protein shake with an egg and an egg white....acceptable in terms of calories if not protocol. I was literally shaking with hunger.

I have to get some food pre-prepared, last night was not pleasant. And of course I was cooking a mushroom cheeseburger with roasted potatoes for my hubby as all this was happening....argghhhh.

I'm going to try to rescue the 'salty' hamburger/cabbage mixure, it was 400 grams of hamburger! Possibly a soup that I can portion out and freeze...we'll see.
