Good morning! I'm trying to learn all I can before I officially start. Do y'all have a thread somewhere that gives your typical successful menus?

Hi, Pam! I just started so far so good.

I will not cheat ever again. But luckily I did have a 1.5lb loss today.

nice to meet you!! look through all the threads for the other months for lots of good info!

I hope you read my response to obraxton when she cheated with those nuts. You are only wasting time and money. If you want to lose weight you MUST follow protocol to a "T". That is how I lost all my weight with hhcg. If I can do it you can too!! I cannot tell you how many temptations I face all day long, but I can tell you they are many. I have 4 kids and work in Starbucks'!! Now if I can resist all those goodies I have at home and at work then anyone should be able to. I suggest you find a nice tea you like and have that for when you feel temptation coming on. I cannot tell you how many times having just one cup of tea has saved me from myself. Good luck!!

Nope!! But we have a P2 recipe thread where you can get some ideas of what we do eat!! I can tell you what I ate yesterday:

Breakfast: 9:30 1/2 grapefruit with 1 Melba toast
Lunch: 1:00 3.5 oz crab meat
asparagus
Dinner: 6:00 3.5 oz of tilapia fish
bunch of spinach
1 green apple
1 Melba toast

To drink I had: 3 cups of coffee; 2 cups of ice tea; 2 liters of water.

Basically there is no "magic bullet" menu for this protocol. Just follow what the food lists says and you will have success!! Good luck!

Thank you so much. I read your advice and I can't imagine being in your situation. I don't cook for anyone but my sister whose doing this with me and we cheat together which is stupid. We will never do it again and Thank you so much for your advice on drinking tea. I'll do that more. Thank you Dawnyama^^

You will do awesome! I'll bet you get to "twoterville" this round with no problem Don't let regret enter your body - it's a USELESS emotion. Accept what is fact and let it go! I do much better on protocol when I don't let stress factor in.

There is an HCG recipe thread on this forum. Personally, I prefer to keep it simple. I follow the diet Dr. S. describes in Pounds and Inches plus I've added green beans and broccoli to my menu. (Those are from the included foods list of a local HCG weight loss doctor.)

Dawnyama, it happened to me the other day, I cheated w/a handful of nuts. Gracie was great to inform me that my diet is much lower than it should be and since being back on track I am constantly stuffed. Thankfully I still lost this morning but I won't take any more chances. I kept my head down when I past the nut jar at work.

Day 3 of VLCD and for some reason I could eat the wallpaper! Not usually a problem for me at this stage, but wow I'm hungry today. I've had the hot tea... nope, that didn't help. I'm drinking water like a camel. Must just be what today is... In about an hour I can eat dinner and it will be at a lovely salad bar. Really looking forward to that!

Lots to read here... guess I'll read some more and see if I can take my mind off the clock and my tummy!

I did the B's for a couple days then forgot for a couple days. So I haven't yet given B-12 & B-complex a decent try. I'm at a point in Phase 2 where slowdowns and stalls are common, and I've slowed down but not stalled, so I'm satisfied with my progress. I'll be on Phase 3 fairly soon, I think.

Good morning All. Today is R3P4D2, and my weight is ,believe it or not, 179.5 lbs. again. I keep waiting for it to change and it hasn't, it's got me a little freaked out. Yesterday was my 1st day of P4, all I changed was I cut out some nuts and added 1 1/2 bananas. Glad to see how well you guys are doing, KUTGW. Keep Rocking the Protocol.

Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day

OH, yes. I forgot to add this. There even may be some foods on the list that you are not going to lose with, and even (gasp!!) gain on. I think Jan just realized that every time she has asparagus she has a gain the next morning. Some do not do well with beef, or it may be cabbage or tomatoes that stall you. It is best to keep a food journal so you can track your weight along with your foods and you can then spot your trends and weight stallers or gainers. Thankfully, I have not found any foods that I have to cut out!! Good luck!!!

I found that strawberries made me gain on my first round so I don't do strawberries.

My weight bounced up .2 to 233.8. My first rise on VLCD days. At least it gave me an opportunity to use the confused smilie.
