I purchased enough for the shorter round b/c I wanted to make sure if it was worth the investment. I'm giving myself to day 10, if it's working marvelously I'll rush to get another vial to complete the 40....oh, let this be the answer I seek!!!!!!!
And I will not rest, I will not waver until I find a raspberry donut for you!

My goal for 2010 is to lose 100lbs. If the first round works, I will definitely continue through to goal and follow with LC lower fat maintenance as a WOL.
To HCG. You will be amazed!! I too have tried almost everything. This is the one thing that works for me. Enjoy your load days!

Ooooh, I did that too!! When I first started I was going to give it 2 weeks, just like Atkins says. After the first 2 days when I lost so much weight I was hooked. You will be surprised how well hcg works. It really does!! I think everyone goes through that stage where we say "oh, this will never work for me". And then it does!! It works for everyone as long as they stay intentional to Dr Simeons' original manuscript. It is when we start tweaking the diet ourselves that things go wrong!! Good luck!!!

Didn't work, didn't lose anything at all. I had 6 eggs, 1 slice of cheese and a bit of mayo no sugar and coffee with cream all day like 4 cups. Not sure if the cream did it. I took a break on P2 to take the medications and was planning to re-start P2 before 14 days but I was told yesterday I need surgery on Monday so no point to start the shots yet. Very frustrated, cried yesterday all morning. So I asked the clinic I go and they told me to just do 1 loading day when I re-start hopefully sometime next week. I have many questions, do you think my cheese was the problem or the cream. I had cream on my coffee yesterday (and also had like 3 cups) with eggs for breakfast, filet mignon with avocado and tomatoe for lunch, lobster for dinner and I was still hungry so I had 2 fried eggs with like 5 bacon organic without nitrate for dinner and I didn't gain any weight. So I don't think is the cream I think I may have a problem with the cheese. I still need to lose like 25 pounds and I was hoping when I re-start I can lose it all. I was told minimum of 21 days but I wanted to go for as long as it takes to lose all 25 pounds. Any thoughts... I will try to do a high protein diet today.
I am not sure I understand what it is that you want. Your post is all over the place!! But if you are asking what to do now that you are over your LDW....have you seen what Bob posted about doing a high fat day? I think those are recommended over high protein. I heard that your fat could be as high as 80%. I had a problem with cheese. My last P3 when I had it with every meal (some days are just like that--it was a bit unusual for every meal to have cheese in it!!) I gained. I had to cut back, not totally out.

And if you are having surgery, the weight would be the last thing on my mind. Just the IV drip and anesthesia will inflate your weight. Your body will be busy healing and that should be your priority. You should concentrate on healing and that means lots of good proteins. I wish you good luck.

I am sorry if I came on too strong, that happens sometimes with my words on the computer. But wanted to get my point across and my intention is to inform not berate!!! Here are healing hugs to you

Hi all.
Didn't lose or gain today. I guess it's too soon to call it a stall, hahahaha. But seriously, being 25 pounds lighter in about a month, I'm absolutely thrilled with the magic of HCG weight loss!!!!!!

I asked a question a couple days ago and didn't see an answer, so I'll ask again:

A question for those on R2 or greater of sublingal HCG (not homeopathic):
  • How many days did you stay on VLCD before switching to phase 3?
  • My neighbor, who's going to an HCG diet doctor, is on day VLCD 60+ and still losing. I'm hoping to stay on it that long too (without any diet doctor).
  • Thanks for taking the time to share your experience!

I'm on VLCD-31 today so I'm getting closer to needing to decide.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Thank you Dawn, I know is hard for me to write exactly what I want to say. I am frustrated because I thought I would just do a normal interruption per Dr S and be back on P2 before 14 days but is not working out that way. Then I am frustrated because the CD did not work. I haven't tried nuts at all yet so maybe I'll do the high fat tomorrow. I just wish I could go down the 2 pounds before the surgery so when I gain weight due to anesthesia and all I am not like 5 over. I only lost 16 pounds on this round 23 days and if I gain too much before I re-start is not going to be very productive.

I guess I am also hoping that someone that had done interruptions or just finish at 23 days how long when re-start? How many days maximum can you do now? Like When I re-start I am wondering if I can do 40 days so basically it will be like starting all over again. I called my center but the truth is I rather get answer from someone that have gone through the same process. This was my P3 but I did normal rounds before I never had a planned interruption but it seems the interruption is turning out into a normal P2-P3.

I can't even really explain what I am trying to ask so I am sorry.

Dawn I really appreciate you always reading my posts and answer. I was at the organic shop I usually go by my house and saw they have the same whey powder zero carb cookies and cream you recommended. I may also try to do the protein drink this weekend. Thanks again for your support and help

Sorry, I'm not the one to answer your question about rounds. I am planning to go for 40 days (VLCD), and then having a cycle. Basically a planned interruption for about 7 - 10 days, then right back to P2.
I know this isn't strict protocol, but I want to see how my body will respond to it. I still have many rounds to do, and I know my last 2 rounds I will do a full P3 and P4. I think it will help in maintenance if I do the full rounds.

GL, you are doing great. I just realized I am on VLCD 35 today, so I am looking forward to my P3 break!

Have a great day, full of losses! LOL

Your clinic is who you should be listening to. They are the ones you are paying!!! They should help you. I would seriously consider their advice. They know your medical history and what you should do. My first round was a 23 day round because I was leaving on vacation so I stopped and did the P3 and P4 just like in P&I. The 15 pounds I lost stayed off and I felt great!! My next round I did a break because I was STARVING!! Just wanted to not feel so hungry right after eating. I had planned on doing the break for the 14 days because I wanted to make sure I was taking OFF the abnormal fat and not the necessary fat. But I was gaining so much that I just hopped back on much sooner than I planned. I think it was like 5 days I took off. But it was well within the 14 day window. I went on until I hit goal--or actually 2 pounds under to have that window in my LDW. Right now I don't even remember how long that was. But I know none of my rounds lasted 40 days straight.

You have to decide for yourself what to do. I don't know what surgery you are having so I cannot help you there. When I had surgery on my wrist I was in a cast for 2 weeks after so I was very limited in what I could afterwards. I would not have made it on P2 after that surgery. I could barely change my baby's diaper!! It was difficult and I never thought about the "after" when I scheduled it!! But if you are having a tummy tuck where you cannot even walk!! NO way should you even think of P2 for at least 6 weeks. Someone on the yahoo groups had gall bladder surgery and was resigned to not start up another round until her doctor deemed her well enough. But just a few days and she was feeling much better. See what I mean?? Different procedures require different recoup times.

For folks like me who want to lose 100 pounds or more, just ahng in there. There's a guy on YouTube who went from 315 to 206 in 11 months. (
Guys may lose faster, but still, it shows that a 100-pound loss can be accomplished.

I am down 2.6lbs today!

So, I am on VLCD 35 and down 30.4lbs. I am very happy with my progress. I took a 3 day interruption (at VLCD 21), and gained back 5lbs, because I didn't eat well. So, my 30.4lbs, doesn't count those pesky 5lbs I had to re-loose.

Thanks Cleo, first things first, You need to get your health straight. I say eat clean, what ever phase your in until surgery, have your surgery, then worry about losing weight. Your surgery is probably putting some stress on you, don't add to it. What stage are you in? I have done two interruptions, so I can probably help you with that. I did a 5 day interruption, then went another ten days on hCG.

Wow!!! I am still in shock! Down .6 today!!! I have looked at my total weight loss since beginning hcg. I was motivated by Em's numbers when she posted she is this close to 40 pounds down. I am 36.4 pounds down from when I started back in May of 2009. I never imagined I could get this far down. I am amazed at the inches gone and my shape that has resulted in the hcg taking the abnormal fat. I am very pleased!! Happy Friday!!!
Dawn, me and you both. I believe I posted that I never thought that I would ever see under 200 in my lifetime, and here I am at 180. Unbelieveable.

Sorry, I don't think you are not being ignored. I just don't think anyone here is doing the sublingual method. Most of us do the homeopathic. I hope someone chimes in for you!!

I am down a total of 60.2lbs, but I am still 140lbs from my goal. UGH!
My goal is to be down 100lbs, by the 1 year anniversary of my diet. So, I need to loose about 40lbs by the beginning of June. Considering I have lost just over 30lbs in the last 35 VLCD, I am positive I will make my mini goal!

Since TOM showed up 3 days ago, I am down 4.2lbs. I usually hold, or gain right before TOM, then loose when it gets here. Other than that, I'm drinking my water and staying intentional.

thank you so much for being there for me and my whole family Dawn i can't express how much my friends have helped me and my whole family on this journey!

i will have to be careful with the cabbage and it made a tasty slaw with stevia and vinegar but cause a stall on each of my previous rounds...not so for my DH he even ate part of one of my mock egg rolls and lost(the rat) they were delicious but i won't be risking it again i don't think

oh yeah just having some of that warm broth helps so much! i even cut up my protein that was already cooked last round and make a good size cup of soup and holding it in that warm mug made it better! GREAT job on your continued losses (and your job and DH and Kids wowza!)but you are so tiny anyways!! don't stand sideways we won't see ya!

you will be amazed!! i started my first round at 352 pounds and lost 21.8 pounds in 23 days!! stabilized that time at 328 which is a set point i was at for years and it talks about that in P&I i believe
on my 2nd round i lost a net of 16 pounds down to 312 in 23 days but i also count the 10 i gained loading that time! so i am counting 26 pounds lost that round
haven't stabilized so well this P3 go from 312 to 322.4 and back and forthand there doesn't seem to be a pattern or reason to it SO i am cutting my 2nd P3 short and going to round 3 MONDAY eek! i had it easy the first 2 rounds because my husband and son were doing it with me they have stabilized perfectly so they are continuing on P4 as they are supposed to...

i just was NOT going to take a chance on gaining all that back!

sorry for the repeat for everyone who has heard my ramblings before

anyways i wanted to welcome you to the board oh and even with my fluctuations i haven't gained those inches back!!

Danyama! That is awesome news! I'm right behind you. Well not exactly. Good job!

It works for everyone as long as they stay intentional to Dr Simeons' original manuscript. It is when we start tweaking the diet ourselves that things go wrong!! Good luck!!!
Thanks so much for that...tomorrow tomorrow...uhh....

Gracie514- well yes when I do finally get to P3 I am gonna reward myself with a nice 1/2 hr massage.... I used to get a massage every other wknd abd since I've been on this 40 day protocol I have not had any so I am wayyyy overdue for one so that will be my P3 legal treat to myself....

ARGHHHHHH Up .2 this morning... I am so upset and frustrated.... that only makes a loss of like 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks.... makes me so angry I just want to scream... all this hard work for a lowsy 2 lbs in 2 wks- give me a break... so not starting off on a good foot this morning.... Should have gotten TOM last Sat and still not here yet- who knows... I'm telling myself I'm retaining water to alleviate the stress and anger some whether I am or not thats my excuse I'm using today.... hahaha

Daily check-in

Good morning All. Today is R3P3D17, and my weight is 180lbs., a 1 lb. loss from yesterday. The high fat/lower protein plan seems to be working. I'll be staying on it at least 4 more days, until I get to P4, which starts Thursday. I'll see what kind of plan Biz has for me then.

Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day.

Hi everyone,
I was down 1.6 pounds this morning. I guess that makes up for 4 straight days of small losses and no losses. Yesterday, for the first time, I added B-complex and B-12 suppliments. I'm gonna take them daily and see what happens.

Hope everyone has a super sassy Saturday!!!
