If you are going to eat normally you should stop the drops, they are adding 1500-4000 calories on top of everything else you eat. You can google Pounds & Inches and download it for free on-line. Good luck.

I'm sorry you are having such a tough time. Today is a new day, forget about the past. Stay intentional. You can do this! I know you won't be sorry. Just stick to protocol. You will be glad you did.

Thanks you guys, I didn't know if because of those days I'd have to do something to make up for them. But back in the saddle today. I spoke with my mom and she's going help me when I'm over there. (I usually stay for dinner there every night since my hubby works out of town and they watch my daughter while I work) But I've packed my stuff for intentional eating and should be good to go. At least I didn't gain anything over those couple of days. I'm now at 265.6, just bumming that I could have lost more.

Good for you. You are VERY lucky you didn't gain. In my first round, I cheated once for dinner, and I gained 4lbs! Then, it took almost 2 weeks to loose those 4lbs and finally get back to losing. I learned my lesson! It just isn't worth it. Now, if I could just stay intentional in P3! That is where I am having a hard time...

Hey all! I've been MIA for a while. I am two days away from P3 and a bit nervous! There isn't much help in P&I on P3. I am 29 pounds down! Woohoo! I'm just hoping that I can stabilize in P3 and I don't mess up what I've done.

THANKS!! Yep, those are my stats! My first VLCD was 1/10/2010 and I tried to be super-careful, with no cheats, and come to LCF for support. My last injection weight (LIW) was 184.1 yesterday and I'm at 183.6 today, which equals 29 pounds down since 1/10!

That's part of the reason I'm so worried about P3...don't want to go backwards.

Great job! You'll be fine in P3 if you just follow protocol to a "T". I think I had to do 3 correction days in P3, not too bad. The best advice is to just keep things simple - meat, eggs, cheese, veggies, etc. It's when I started eated 6 cream cheese muffins in a day that I started having troubles I did actually eat some sugar free chocolate and Atkins bars and my body seemed okay with it.

Thanks. I just don't do as well without strict guidelines. If I just had a calorie and carb limit or other nutritional stat guidelines, I'd feel much better.

Mmmm...cream cheese muffins sound so yum! Must remember not to eat 6.

Daily check-in

Good morning All. Today is R3P3D16, and my weight today is 181 lbs., a 1.5 lb. loss from yesterday. The Bizinator at Bootcamp told me to lower my protein and up my fats, so I cut out my cold cuts (protein), and added nuts (high fat, low protein). Result 1.5 lb. loss, never though adding fat would help me lose, never in a million years. Today I will use a similar diet and see what happens. Gotta go now.

Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day.

Good Morning, sorry I have been out of the forums for a while. A few things I gained 2.7 pounds and tried the egg day because of my medication I couldn't do the steak day. Didn't work, didn't lose anything at all. I had 6 eggs, 1 slice of cheese and a bit of mayo no sugar and coffee with cream all day like 4 cups. Not sure if the cream did it. I took a break on P2 to take the medications and was planning to re-start P2 before 14 days but I was told yesterday I need surgery on Monday so no point to start the shots yet. Very frustrated, cried yesterday all morning. So I asked the clinic I go and they told me to just do 1 loading day when I re-start hopefully sometime next week. I have many questions, do you think my cheese was the problem or the cream. I had cream on my coffee yesterday (and also had like 3 cups) with eggs for breakfast, filet mignon with avocado and tomatoe for lunch, lobster for dinner and I was still hungry so I had 2 fried eggs with like 5 bacon organic without nitrate for dinner and I didn't gain any weight. So I don't think is the cream I think I may have a problem with the cheese. I still need to lose like 25 pounds and I was hoping when I re-start I can lose it all. I was told minimum of 21 days but I wanted to go for as long as it takes to lose all 25 pounds. Any thoughts... I will try to do a high protein diet today.

Where are you getting a copy of P&I??? I sure hope you did NOT pay for it because it is on the web for free!! Just google and you will find it. You have to be determined on this plan to follow exactly the directions in it otherwise you will gain weight and worse off will NOT maintain the loss when done. I have a family of 6 and I am the only one who is on this plan. I cook for my family while on P2--I even baked some Valentine cupcakes!! Not even a lick of my finger when the frosting got on them. I posted about the spaghetti dinner I made for them too. The smells were just too much, but I perservered!!! If I can do this anyone can!! I just kept thinking about how I wanted to be lower on the scale the next day as well as skinnnier!!! It worked for me!! Good luck!!!!! I have come to the realization it is a mental thing as well as a food thing. You have to work on your mind as well as your food prep. Bring your dinner/food with you where ever you go. I was out of the house for 2 meals yesterday and brought my food with me. I was prepared. You should be making some of your food ahead of time so you don't have the excuse of "I just didn't have time to prepare my food".

You know where to find us!!! I have to cook today. I am out of my stash of P2 foods and I have to work every day this weekend!! I have chicken, ground beef and fish thawing. I will be busy today. I have to cut up my cabbage and make those radishes too!! I have had a sore throat this week and have included in my day some chicken broth. I has not effected my losses, I am actually losing so much it is scary!!, and I will continue to include it. It makes a tasty meal!!! I add garlic to it so it will kill whatever is in my throat. I am surprised you are starting the rx--why did you decide to switch? Curious minds and all.... Have a great weekend!!!! Happy loading and have a great next week on P2!!! I know you can do it!!!

Wow!!! I am still in shock! Down .6 today!!! I have looked at my total weight loss since beginning hcg. I was motivated by Em's numbers when she posted she is this close to 40 pounds down. I am 36.4 pounds down from when I started back in May of 2009. I never imagined I could get this far down. I am amazed at the inches gone and my shape that has resulted in the hcg taking the abnormal fat. I am very pleased!! Happy Friday!!!

You have done very well with this protocol!!! You should plan a nice "me day" where you reward yourself (without food!) - like a pedicure, manicure, massage or something! (after P2 of course!)

Result 1.5 lb. loss, never though adding fat would help me lose, never in a million years. Today I will use a similar diet and see what happens. Gotta go now.

Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day.
Great job Bob!

Sorry to hear you will have to go through surgery. I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Great job! Happy Friday to you as well!

Okay, hi I'm Dessa and I'm on P1D2. Finally decided to go for it after several months of contemplation (thanks, Gracie). I'm very nervous about it not working. Not really concerned about not being able to complete it b/c I've done much more restrictive things in my quest for thinness, and mostly to no avail.

My goal for 2010 is to lose 100lbs. If the first round works, I will definitely continue through to goal and follow with LC lower fat maintenance as a WOL.

Hi Dessa! So, you are on your second load day? Oh, please have a big raspberry filled jelly donut for me You're gonna do great! I know you have made it through fasts before - this will be cake compared to that! The hcg totally curbs your hunger. I will be here for you - you're gonna do great! 100 pounds is totally doable - I would say 4 rounds at 25 pounds per round. If you do a 40 day round, the average loss is 34 pounds - so you could lose it in 3 rounds. I do short rounds usually because I seem to think in 3 week intervals! LOL
