Well, thankfully my blip up from yesterday is gone. Unfortunately it didn't take any friends with it!! But I am fine with it all. I am feeling good and know I followed plan. That is the plan for today too! I hope to get a few cups of hot tea in today. I didn't yesterday. I ate no veggie at lunch yesterday so I could compensate for the chicken broth I had. And I had my Cold Eeze for my sore throat hoping it won't catch on and become a full blown cold. Kyle (my 4 year old) has been coughing for a couple of weeks now and I am sure that is what I am fighting off. I have to make sure I leave myself some time today too for cooking some on protocol foods. I have to make some fish and portion out some shrimp and cook veggies for this week. I work Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun!!! So good-to-go foods are the best during those rush times.

I have not updated for a few days. I started my VLCD #1 at 129 I have never lost 8 pounds in a week in any other round!!! This is my third and while I thought it would be a sculpting round it seems like it is turning into a losing round!! I am all for that!!! Happy Weds everyone!!!
Wow Dawn!!! 8 pounds in your first week is incredible I know you are re-shaping this round - can you tell yet where you seem to be losing inches? It's really weird for me - Round 1 , I lost alot in my butt, thighs and this Round 2 I seem to be losing in my tummy. When I looked at my tummy the other day there was a "divet" - it looked like it was sunk in like there used to be fat there!!! Very weird. I have had 3 kids, one c-section and two normal births. I'm hoping to re-shape and loose my pooch too!

I have not paid much attention to where it is coming off. I don't need or want my butt, boobs or face losing any fat!! But my tummy is smaller because some of my jeans I got at the end of last round that were just "this close" to being too tight to wear are now wearable. I did measure my waist and hips this weekend for underwear shopping. So, I have that as a guide this round. I also can see my waist getting more defined. I remember that when I went to a plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck consult years ago, he mentioned "I can give you a waist again!!". I wasn't even aware of me losing mine. But I have a great one now!!! Hhcg is a much cheaper alternative and less painful alternative to surgery!!!

Well, my first increase in weight since starting this protocol. I'm on VLCD-29 of round 1 of sublingual HCG, and I'm up .2 pounds. I'm thinking it's from not enough sleep again -- 5 1/2 hours last night. Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

Well, today I lost .8. I was hoping for more, but it is only the 2nd day of TOM.
I was also worried because I had to take some Advil and also Nasonex. I try to only take my thyroid med while on P2. But, it couldn't be helped.

OK, I don't eat seafood, so I am getting a little sick of chicken breast, lean ground beef, and lean steak. I also don't eat Pork. I hate the "fishy" smell and taste of seafood. I was raised a vegatarian, so I'm sure that has an influence over my taste buds. What about Talipea (sp?), does it taste "fishy"? I have, in the past, tasted and hated: tuna, fish sticks, shrimp, & crab. Any suggestions would be great. But, if I need to keep on with my chicken and beef, I will do it to keep the weight losses coming!

Here's to a great day of losses for all!

I've done eggs with no problem. Use 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites. I either hard boil them and add a little brown mustard for an egg salad or I scramble them with onions. It's a nice change when I'm sick of meat. I've actually done it for about 5 meals this round with no adverse effects.

I think .8 is a great loss. It is more than the average of .5 Dr S says we women can expect!

Really Kim there is no need to change anything IF you are fine with what you are eating. I am sure that I read Diana (DeeDee is her avi name) from long, long ago did a round with just chicken as her protein. It didn't hurt her or her losses but I can understand about the boredom. I would just suggest switching up the seasonings maybe. You can grind up the chicken breast so you can have a chicken chili or chicken hamburger. There are a bunch of recipes in that sticky so that you can have a bunch of different ways to experience the chicken. I love tilapia. But then again I am a seafood lover. I might even try scallops on this round as I have some in the freezer. Pork is not an acceptable P2 food so it is good you don't like it!! I believe that veal is allowed. How are you on veal? Loretta just posted about which kind to get...or at least asked! And Dr S did say for a change we could do the eggs. I was thinking of doing that once or twice this round too. I don't remember the ratio of whole eggs to egg whites, but it is in P&I. I hope this gives you more ideas.

Here's to a big loss tomorrow!
I am on my 3rd round, [40lbs (31 days), 33.4lbs (42 days) and 19.6 lbs [still going]. My brother is down 105 in 3 rounds. Keep in mind get a picture of you being thin even if you have to cut your head out of your picture and glue on someone elses body. Once you can see it in your mind it is over. You are already there and the journey becomes so much more enjoyable.

Thanks Dawn, such good advice. To be honest, I don't even know what veal is...I think baby meat, but not sure which kind... Sorry, I was raised a strict vegetarian! LOL
I think I may try eggs just to switch it up a bit. I do love the P2 chili. I made a pretty good soup last night. I just avoid soup broth.

Thanks again

I am so impressed. Thank you for your kind words of encouragment. I know I have a ways to go, but I didn't get this big overnight either! I am commited to becoming healthy. Always before, I thought if I could just get into Onderland I would be happy. Well, not good enough for me with the HCG! I know I can actually get to that healhty weight. It may take me awhile, but at least I am heading in the right direction. I have found some pics of me when I was dating DH, wearing a size 2 mini leather skirt! I keep looking at that picture. My goal is about 20lbs more than I weighed in that picture.

What an amazing job y'all have done! KUTGW

Slim is wonderful for encouraging us here at LCFs!! That is why we love him!! I am right now below my original goal weight of 133, which is what I call my "normal adult weight". It was what I could maintain pretty easily eating whatever pre-kids!! I am also in the beginning of my 3rd round!! I am currently at 121!! Oh, I guess I should change my stats!! I forgot to do that. So I believe that the hcg does make us pretty greedy. Dr S says that this should restart or reset our set point so I am going to test it and see how I do. I am all for trying!!

yeah, I did post a question asking about the veal and I still am lost. I still don't know what I'm looking for in the store or what to ask for. I'd like to try it.

Veal is allowed on P2 and veal is a young calf...I personally do not eat due to how they are treated but to each their own. And DEB you were asking how DH is doing- he is doing wonderful also- he has lost approx. 33 lbs or so thus far and I am ever sooooo close to that 20 lbs mark- .4 away- hope to hit it tomorrow- will see but nonetheless I will get there before we are done with our 40 day protocol which is a week from tomorrow I beleive then on to P3- can't wait... anyhow alot of great success on here today- KUTGW folks

I agree completely! In fact if I can go lower than the 140's, I would be thrilled. I just want to be HEALTHY! I was in the 140's for a long time many years ago, and even though I wasn't a size 2, I was a 7/8. Right now, that seems awesome. But who knows, I may go for the size 2's someday...It is just so hard to even imagine as I sit here a size 24!

So I don't know what to do. My copy of P&I is on the way but until then I've really messed up. I've still been doing the drops but the last couple of days I've had dinner with my parents and dad is one of those meat and potatoes kinda guys. Well, I had no will power and just ate with everyone else. I don't know what to do now. Any advice is appreciated.

Dr. ATW Simeons "Pounds and Inches"

You can go here for a free pounds and inches , or google Simeons-Pounds-and-Inches right on your computer for free.

You need to get back on the horse and be good to
yourself.

Maybe you could think of yourself as being someone that has allergies, and all foods off program will make you feel bad.
Pretend your a young child that needs your help.
It's only for a short time and you will feel so much better . Be loving to yourself , your worth it .

I enjoyed 1 egg and 3 egg whites , I also liked cottage cheese, really good
with strawberries .

WOE: Now on HGC and LOVE IT!

Hi everyone,
I'm down .8 this morning and have reached my first goal of 25 pounds lost! I'm giddy with joy!!!

Before hearing about HCG, I'd never have believed that I could start at 262.2 and weight 236.8 just 32 days later -- and feel great the whole time! HCG is heaven on earth.

Hope everyone is having a thrilling Thursday.
