Hi everyone,
I survived my first day of low calories. I lost 5.4 pounds this morning. Yes, I was hungry but I also tend to wait forever to eat. And I figure after eating lots your stomach is in shock with only few calories, so I figure I will adjust. I am curious, why is mineral oil allowed. Thank goodness because I relyed on my baby lotion for my hands at work last night but just curious. tracey |

It is a tad difficult to get back to routine, especially since we've had so much fun.....but, then again, we've made good memories. Quote:
Someone else will chime in cause I didn't have to use the mineral oil, as I live in Florida, and the humidity here allowed my hands to stay rather moist...there were times I did use a moisture (water-based) spray that Barbara recommended, but it's put away right now, and don't remember the name. |

Yes. I have literally not done anything today. It's priceless to know that the tracker says I've burned 888 calories since midnight. Of course, I know this can't be 100% accurate but to just have a trustworthy ballpark is incredible to me. And hi Gracie! In actually looking forward to a more regular routine. Although good lord do I love being lazy. It looks like today might be a half correction day. I have a massage at 7:30 and I'm not hungry. Maybe I'll just have two shakes for the rest if the day. ![]() |

I'm really curious as to the differences in forms and what a WL center vs. just getting the homeopathic and following the eating plan is. I'm trying to do Atkins induction today since I have no way to buy the hCG and it sucks LOL I'm not used to eating this much. I know there has to be some high cal days on Simeons and I'm not sure about that either.

I've been on more diets than I can count, and though they have been successful at getting the weight off, keeping it off has been more of a struggle; I've never "gained it all back" but it always creeps up until i am 5-10 lbs over my low weight. I get embarrassed at my "failure" and usually slink away, never to be seen again. You have been a great example of "dusting off and climbing back on the horse", and I thank you for being so open and honest about your situation. It helps me know that I can depend on the group for support even when I screw up. kate ![]() |

You can do it yourself!

I hate to see you spend your hard earned money to go through a clinic, especially since it seems (from your posts) that money is tight right now. In my opinion (which is worth very little, but hey...) you should try the cheap route first and only go through a clinic if that doesn't suit you. You can get the hhcg drops for sublingual use for less than $30 a bottle; you may even be able to get it locally. Even in the small city I live in, the naturopathic store sells a 2 oz bottle for $21 and there's NO shipping. We will be happy to help! kate |

Just enjoyed my Outback loading for all of you. Aussie cheese fries are like a heart attack served on a plate. It's been hard to get all of my food down today. And Bernice has been keeping me company, which I suppose I should enjoy for the next few days- I'm sure our visits will be few and far between by the end of the week.

Thanks everyone. I found after I ate my first meal today (fish and tomatoes and strawberries) I was very satisfied and have yet to have dinner. That surprises me because usually if I eat healthy low carb fat really satisfies me. It must be the hcg. I do so look forward to when I can add my teaspoon of oil supplement back into my diet. I bought some veal at the supermarket today but need some recipes for it. Any ideas? I think right now I will have a veal burger and an apple baked with cinnamen and stevia. I will do some exercise and go to bed.
Thanks so much ladies. sharon, I will look forward to how you fare with stabiliation as I am tired of regaining and feeling lousey. Tracey |

![]() i am tempted to use hcg and just do protein powder with no apples or breadsticks that tempt me... and i am kind of kicking myself for stopping when i was on a roll... this doing it in series seems counterproductive to me... im mad that i lost 26, gained 10, so at the end of a WHOLE series im only down 15 net and that's if i do it as well as last time which i hear is unlikely... thanks for listening...

If someone would be so inclined.... could you give me an idea of what a "round" consists of when it comes to how often you take the hCG and what type of calorie counts/foods you are eating? Just to get an overview. Reading pounds and inches was a bit confusing.

P&I covers it all pretty clearly. You can do a 40 day round, or 23 day round of hcg. The phase where you are taking doses of hcg is Phase 2 or P2, then you enter Phase 3 to stabilize, which is a slow addition of fats. A lot of info is out there. Do some google searches, read some blogs, even searching through some of videos on youtube are extremely helpful.

i am pulling out all the stops this round to get the very most out of round 2... i am using the 5k vials but only for 20 days then throw it out and start a fresh one. i am doing 175 iu hoping that will help. i did not start the day after my period which might prove problematic but i wanted to just get started in the new year. i thinnk i will forfeit the breadsticks as i was too tempted to have more than just the one per meal. any other proven shortcuts that might make r2 really really effective? id ADORE releasing 30+!!!!! is it possible?!?!?!?!? thanks all~

). I would encourage you to do the protocol as it is written. People who have the most success are those who follow the protocol as Dr. S wrote it. It's only 23-40 days. You can do it! Quote:
I am on day 3 of VLCD and today I ate this: 1 apple 100 g chicken, grilled 1 cup celery (I cut up the apple, chicken and celery, tossed it with apple cider vinegar and stevia and ate it like a salad) 1 grassini 100 g chicken, grilled (not supposed to eat the same protein twice in one day but it's all I had) 1 cup asparagus 100 grams strawberries 1 grassini I take 10 drops (I use homeopathic HcG) 3x a day, with nothing to eat or drink 30 minutes before or after. Does that help?

Sorry, there are no short cuts. Don't mess with protocol...it was written as is for a reason. If you cut out fruit and breadsticks you may become carb sensitive which will really make P3 and P4 difficult.

thank you soooo much for your reply dizzybell! i was feeling huuuuuge and restarted right in the mniddle of the holidays as i just wanted to drop some for the parties and i did drop like 5 in 10 days (nothing like the 15 in 10 days of r1!) and got too discouraged and stopped. thats when i mostly put on all the weight from my last round... they arent kidding about dont dare load with hcg in your system!
so i am doing my start now - i am just sooo impreessed with your success! wow - i am short on time - it is really hard for me to have a social life on this protocol so i am thinking of doing what you did taking only a 10 day bereak and just get this weight off once and for all!... i'll see how it goes. thanks so much for your insights! |
