I've decided that last night was going to be my last dose for this round. I lost half a pound today, so at least that's something. I'm embarking on the dreaded 72 as of now. I lost 24 lbs in 24 VLCDs. Not too shabby and yes, I count my load weight in there. Looking forward to an omlette from my fave Mexican place soon. I'm taking 3 weeks off and then doing another round. Yay for me! (cross posted)

I'm down exactly a pound today (vlcd #10, sublingual HCG), so I've lost 14.4 lb. from my start weight. I slept great, I feel great. My clothes are fitting better, my posture is better. HCG is amazing!!!

Lilly the first 48 hrs. aren't bad, but that last 24, are a killer for me. Just hang in there, those eggs and cheese are coming.

Some days are soooo frustrating! I really thought I would lose more today. I am only down .2! I drank more water and stayed very intentional. I found the grissini and ate one of those..I am wondering if that was the problem
Today I used a green apple in my salad and only half and no grissini! I hope tomorrow is better.

Mine comes every 3 weeks when I'm on protocol, I basically hemorrhage for 4-5 days, and it lingers another 4-5. Small price to pay, and then it goes back to normal.

I'm new to this, only 12 days in, but I have found that I will have a small loss one day, then a bigger loss the next. Hopefully you will have a great loss tomorrow.

This day 2 of my interruption and my weight held steady this morning after eating plenty of fat yesterday! I was needlessly a little nervous before weighing. Sometimes I can't quite believe this protocol and how you can go from eating 500 calories to triple the amount without gaining! I hadn't noticed significant changes in my body looking in the mirror, until last weekend when it seemed like my belly had suddenly noticeably shrunk. I guess it's apparent to others as I've started to get some comments on my weight loss this week. I'm going to go back on the juice on Sun or Mon.

Well today's report is much nicer than yesterday's! After practically opening a drug store out of my own bathroom (Candy I laughed out loud when I read that! ) I think I found something helpful. Last night my skin was UNBEARABLE so I straight up slathered on cortizone cream, thinking "to the wind with a loss tomorrow." This morning I woke up to much much happier skin AND a .8 lb loss! I was expecting to have to do an apple day and instead I'm down almost another pound!!! I'm within 5 lbs of my r1 ldw...creepin' along but with happier skin!

Thanks all for the love...I love you all too!!!! Hope you have wonderful losses, maintains, and shrinkages, you schmexy thangs!
Yay for happy skin and a .8lb loss!! I'd hate to add another product to your drug store, but I want to tell you that in the past I've bought hydrocortizone in a clear gel. I believe it was oil free. Maybe you can look for that if you're still worried about using the cream.

Congrats! I don't find the 72 hours dreaded as all. Maybe it's a psychological thing, but I guess knowing what I will be able to eat in a couple days makes the cravings/head hunger calm down and I feel fine!

All the loses count. Congrats on being .2 down! I find that after the first week I rarely see loses for more than 2 days in a row. But in the end it all adds up to a significant loss. Dr. S. mentioned that women may not see a change on the scale on a daily basis due to hormones, water being retained and lost, etc. So relax, stay intentional, and the weight will whoosh away!

VLCD 5, down 5 lbs. including loading weight.

I had some ground chicken left over from making 4 servings of spicy chipotle chili yesterday so I spiced it up to use for lettuce wraps. It was so good I thought I would share.

Spiced Beef for Lettuce Wraps - 2 servings
7 oz. ground chicken or very lean ground beef
2 Tbls minced onion
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (use more or less to taste)
4 sprays liquid aminos
4 Tbls. chicken broth
salt to taste

Brown the ground chicken/beef and drain well. Add spices, aminos, and broth to ground meat and simmer until broth is evaporated.

Sweetie,

I would not short yourself on the food. You are allowed only so little food. Please eat all allowed food EVERY DAY!!!! You will have days where you lose, (and lose big!!), where you will lose a bit (like you did today) and then when you gain (GASP!!). It is all explained in P&I and it is to be expected. This is not a straight downward trend on the scale for any of us. Please reconsider taking any food out of your day. These blips happen to us all.

Hi
I am on day 28 and losing great! I think I will go 23 more days and do the 48 hours with out the hhcg and move on to P3 the day of my birthday, feb 26th. That my husband can take me out to dinner. I am hoping I am at goal by then or very, very close.
I have a question. I have two boxes of melba toast. One box the melba was circles and the new box I just opened are rectangles and appear larger. I had those today and am hoping they are the correct ones. Any opinions?
Also, when entering P3 is it okay to have Organic Almond butter? A Tablespoon now and then sounds wonderful.

Good Morning my friends! I am down 1.2 lbs today and 3.8 lbs down under previous LDW. Meanwhile some time next week I will have to put a new hole in my belt and all the clothes that were tight on me after my last round are really starting to get loose! One of the ladies doing HHCG "quietly" told me she is down 6 lbs and is absolutely feeling great. See I love this protocol, I am going to shout it from the roof top and I do not care who knows it!. (I love the movie ELF) Anyway we are kicking some serious hiney and we are moving towards our goals and I am very thankful for everyone of you. Those of you who are not seeing the huge losses I feel your frustration but just focus on the inches part because I have lost only 3.8 lbs in 15 days due to being over LDW from last round but I am moving in the right direction and so are you. Thankfully we have not placed our lives on hold while we run down our new bodies. Enjoy the journey!

Finally!!!

After a week of slow losses I dropped 1.8 this morning!!!!!

I feel encouraged this morning. HCG is a wonderfull tool, but you just have to stick with it. Sometimes I get very distrustfull of my body and worry that I will be the minority that it doesn't work on. So this mornings weigh in has me pumped!!

I had the 3 egg whites to 1 whole egg last nite. Not sure if that helped or not. I will wait afew days and try it again and hope for another nice loss.

Have a great Saturday!!

Enjoy the journey!

there is a P3 boot camp over on another site. Sorry I cannot say the name or it will just get edited....it apparently is a program to give extra accountability and direction as P3 is atleast in my opinion the hardest phase. Some one sort of holds your hand and answers your questions and works with you through the different things you may face.

Happy Weekend

Hope the weekend is off to a great start for everyone. Weight today is 110 - officially at revised goal. Went up a bit yesterday from 110.8 to 112.2 (Bob - I think you were right about the half & half tweaks) but after a nice visit from Bernice today back down to 110! Monday is day 21 of VLCD so will probably be my last.

Em - So happy to hear you have happy skin ... and a happy release!

Looks like lots of nice losses this morning!

Wishing everyone a successful P2, P3 or P4 weekend!

-C
