Fit - I found a hand lotion at Walmart. It is Vaseline brand and is called Deep Moisture Creamy Formula. It is made with petroleum jelly cream. So far, it doesn't seem to have effected me. It has little to no same. It says it is fragrance free, but I can smell just a hint of sweetness when I put it on. (Maybe that is sugar deprivation talking ). Hope you find something that works for you!!!

Good Morning everyone!! Hope you are all doing well - for those of you with great losses - good job!!!

I had a .2 loss this morning. Not big, but I'll take it. I didn't expect a big loss after losing 1.8 yesterday.

I had the best chicken last night, so I thought I would share for all of you that are getting tired of same old, same old....

I made 4 chicken breasts for the whole family, I marinated them in the following:

juice of 1 lemon
large tablespoon of chopped garlic
1 finely diced jalepeno
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 tablespoon of ground cumin
large pinch of salt

I let them sit in that for about 1 hour, then grilled them, they were sooo tender and tasted like fajitas - yum. I also sliced up one onion and sprinkled it with a little salt and pepper and chili powder, then wrapped it in foil and threw it on the grill too. One of the best P2 meals so far!!!

Have a super day everyone!!!

Grissini

Where do you buy grissini and how much is it? I was looking at buying one of the HCG books. It is $25.92 for 12. I don't know if that is a good price or not. I am trying to decide which book to buy! Also, can we eat oranges?
I was down .5 pound today....I little frustrating as I have recommitted myself this week and have been following it to a T. The only thing I can think is that I had p2 chili and I wonder if the tomatoes is the cause.

Thanks

I purchased my Grissini at Tom Thumb (Safeway if your on the west coast). They were about $3 or so and at least 24, maybe more to a package. They are in the bakery section.

I used Aquaphor. It is a bit greasy, but did wonders for my alligator sensitive skin and chapped lips. Also really helped the eczema on my hands.

Em, get some Benadryl spray. It won't make it go away or keep more from coming, but it will stop the itching. That combined w/cortisone might help. Sorry, Lumpkin

I found mine at Big Lots after someone on here said that's where they were. Only $1 and a great deal! I've seen them at Safeway in the fresh area and also at Kroger/Fred Meyer's where the spaghetti sauce is.

I am claiming today as vlcd1 again since I can't get my groove but I keep trying! I can do this. I was going for the 40 day but will now go for 23 days and see how I do and do the last week only if I feel I am strong enough. It's easier to see the light with 3 weeks

I need some advise, or knowledge. When taking the HHCG, I know you are suppose to dose three times a day and wait at least 30 minutes before you eat or drink anything. I normally dose before each meal, however, on days like today, do you HAVE to dose before you eat? For instance, I took my first dose at 10 AM (I was in a meeting at work and couldn't do it before that). So, now I'm getting ready to eat lunch at 12 PM, my first meal of the day, but I don't want to dose again since it has only been 2 hours. Can I wait and dose again at 2 PM or so? Then I'll take my last dose this evening.

VLCD 16

Last night's pre-bed weigh tipped me off to a nice loss this morning but it exceeded my expectations - 1.4 lbs ... in week 2. I don't think I've ever had that nice of a loss in my second week. So today is 110.8! I am sooo excited and never in my wildest dreams would have believed I'd see that number on the scale ... particularly not at 40 years of age.

I re-read Pounds & Inches and am watching for what Simeon mentioned:

"As soon as such patients have lost all their abnormal superfluous fat, they at once begin to feel ravenously hungry with continued injections. This is because HCG only puts abnormal fat into circulation and cannot, in the doses used, liberate normal fat deposits; indeed, it seems to prevent their consumption. The HCG method ... is self limiting. It becomes completely ineffective as soon as all abnormal fat is consumed."

So far no hunger and definitely no ravenous hunger. Continuing with VLCD with a little extra milk/half and half. Tomorrow I have a strength training session so I'll have a little more protein.

Gonna get to the replies etc. now ...

Hi,

I do my morning dose 30 mins before tea or wait an hour before coffee. I do my second dose at least an hour after lunch so lunch is usually 12pm and then I dose at about 2pm or 2:30pm. Sometimes as late as 3pm. I do my last dose at least one hour after dinner - usually between 8:30 and 9:30pm.

This schedule has been working fine for me as far as controlling hunger. I do 12 drops each time.

Not sure where you live but in San Diego I found some at Henry's Marketplace. I'd looked at just about every other store and found none.

I was really proud of myself. Anyway, today is VLCD 24, and no loss from yesterday. I feel like the potency of my "juice" may be wearing off, as I am finding myself hungrier and hungrier. My losses have slowed a lot, and I just really feel like my body is telling me I need a break. Today was my last injection. I will start my P3 interruption on Sunday (72 hrs) and enjoy some eggs and cheese for a week. I plan to start P2 again the following Monday 2/8, after I've mixed up a fresh batch of juice to release those pounds and inches! I have been happy with my results so far. But I don't want my mind to be so wrapped up on food, and losses. Emotionally, I need a break too. I need to prove to myself P3 is doable, without being out of control. you all! have a wonderful day, and stay intentional!!
WTG on avoiding all the temptations and staying intentional. It sounds like you're really in touch with your body and emotions so a break should do you good. I think interruptions are great. P3 is totally doable and you'll be fine because I think the key to success is being in touch with your body and watching for what works/doesn't work for you and you totally are.

I'm trying cortizone cream today...I don't mind stalling a few days at ALL if it means I can clear this up for the next few weeks of R2. In the meantime, water water water is the winner!!!! I hope you all have good losses/shrinkages/maintains!! Lotsa love to all!

Sorry to hear about the itchies and scratchies. Maybe try an Aloe Vera cooling gel? You're going to be able to open a drugstore if you get all the things we've suggested but I hope you find something that works. Hang in there - you know if you stick to it the losses will come!

WooHoo to shedding a good solid pound. Can't make an suggestions on the dry hands other than to suggest trying coconut oil - some people can use it on P2 without it stalling them. I use it for deodorant and still had a nice loss today. You could try it and back off if it stalls you.

2 lbs in 2 days is ... thanks for sharing the Chicken recipe. It's always interesting to see what others do. I also made a yummy one. Fried up mine in a bit of chicken stock, teaspoon of stoneground mustard, a little salt, a little curry powder and it was yummy.

That's a good loss anyway - typical average. You might try omitting tomatoes for a bit and see because they do stall some people. The P&I have doesn't include oranges - possibly because they aren't as good as apples, strawberries or grapefruit for the losses.

That's great losing all your load weight in one VLCD - mine took 3 days. You're doing great!

Thanks! Yes, I ordered the Linda Prinster but I was kind of thinking maybe I should have got the Grace one. I'll let you know when I get it what I think.

Yesterday I had 2 x Americanos with tbsp goat's milk and a dash of HnH in each. Lunch was 100g of chicken breast cooked in a little stock, mustard, curry powder with spinach, apple & ACV. I usually chop up half my apple into the spinach and spray ACV over it all then eat the other half of the apple after the meal.

I did an NAET treatment for Vit A yesterday so all I could eat for dinner was 100g of chicken, just plain and an apple. Usually I wouldn't have the same protein for dinner.

About 3 cups of green tea with stevia. 2.5L of water.

I am really boring - I eat pretty much the same foods day in and day out.

One interesting thing though - the naturopath who I did my Rx HCG through last time recommended to another client eating only green apples for faster weight loss. I don't like them though so I always eat honeycrisp or red gala.

Afternoon all, working different hours today so therefore later post. I lost .2 lbs yesterday. I am ok with it and know the drill. So many of you are doing so amazingly well. Good for you! I feel better today and did not work out yesterday and might not get a work out in today either but I think I am losing inches but do not want to measure until later in the round as it will add to my motivation. Any who have a great day! My friends are losing weight like fiends and could not be more excited. It is exciting to have them doing this round with me. they help keep me focused and motivated.

It must be such an amazing feeling to know that you are helping your friends release weight! In some ways I'm sure that is even more rewarding than shedding weight yourself. I have a couple of friends who so need the help ... I'm working up to sharing with them.

It is truly my main motivation this round. Seeing them lose just makes me happy. 5 people are doing it with me at work/church and all are losing successfully and all had trouble losing before this protocol and all are absolutely flabergasted like we were when we tried it. Plus I am accountable to several of them so It forces me to stay intentional and I like the accountability.

I ordered the HCG book from Grace yesterday and should get it next week. I'll try and give an opinion then. I just needed a bit of a hands on book for a boost. I thought it was a bit pricey so I hope it helps me

Dizzy.....salad was awesome! I wasn't sure about trying it at first. Now I think I found a replacement for the chili that I love! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Candy....thanks for sharing your menu from yesterday. I too could just eat the same thing everyday. (as long as I like it) LOL It keeps it simple for me. Although I am really glad I tried Dizzy salad!

Thanks pjs. You can be our 'guinea pig' for that book! From what I see on the yahoo groups that she is the moderator for, it should be a good one!

You're welcome. There is also a P2 chicken celery soup that I used last time around which I really enjoyed. Will see if I can dig up the recipe and post it for you. Especially nice in cold weather.

I thought I knew all the Yahoo groups for HCG but I don't seem to have seen the one with Harmony Grace moderating. Must look for it.

YaaHooooooo! Can't help thinking about those Yahoo ads.
