Hi JayJay. Today I had two eggs scrambled in bacon grease with some jalepeno jack cheese, two slices of thick bacon and a cup of decaf coffee with chocolate stevia and HWC. For lunch I had tuna salad and some hot chocolate made w/ heavy whipping cream, unsweetened cocoa and chocolate stevia. For dinner I had a chicken leg that was wrapped in bacon and baked, collard greens and hot lemon water. I've also had about a full hand full of mixed nuts and a couple pieces of Chocolate Delight made with almond butter and chopped cashews.

Linda wrote her book before she started recommending the homeopathic so she only has instructions for the Rx. Thanks! I mainly want to use it for P3 and to pass on to friends who want to do the protocol. They will most likely be using HHCG so it's a bit of a problem that it only refers to the Rx. These are also folks who are unlikely to spend much time combing the web and forums for info so the guide should be useful for them for all phases.

I also wanted to ask - what does she recommend about how much to eat. After decades of low carbing I am very capable of avoiding starches and sugars but I think there is more to a successful P3 than that since I had two unsuccessful P3s even while completely avoiding the starches & sugars.

It's way too early.. I'm climbing in a cold car to Atlanta for my silly workshop. I have 2 apples and some melba packed. If I drink lots of coffee (which they have to have plenty of at these conferences) I should be okay.

Today is VLCD 23, down -1.2 from yesterday. Apple day did the trick, even if it was just putting my crazy eyes back in my head.

Have a wonderful day friends, stay intentional. I will check in with you later!

Good morning All. Today is day 28 of R3, and my weight is 183 lbs., a 1lb. loss from yesterday. Bernice has paid me a visit, and I' m pretty happy about that, she hadn't been around in about 5 days. I'm getting alot of compliments at work about my weight, which is pretty nice. I have alot of catching up to do because I've been pretty busy and Today I'll be in a training so, I'll have to catch up tonight.

Everyone have a great day and stay INTENTIONAL.

I took mine every single day while in P2. I was using the homeopathic though. In P&I Dr Simeon says to skip a day a week in order to avoid immunity. But he used the injected Rx kind. So it really depends on how you are taking your hcg.

I will have to go and get the book from upstairs to check and make sure. However, I remember with the food list she has in it, they are listed as an Ok food or a no food and then a maybe food. For P3, most were maybe....and only because your body may have a reaction and someone else's may not. So it really is trial and error. Like soy milk, almonds, they seem like safe P3 foods however she puts them in the maybe category. She also lists peanut butter in several areas as OK in P3 as well as sugar free fat free pudding (which clearly states starch in the ingredients!!), whereas I totally disagree that it should be allowed. The other thing that is up for debate is that she believes in low fat dairy products versus the full fat dairy that I enjoy. That is how I read into it anyhow. But she has lists of cosmetics in there that are "safe". However, I don't agree with the list at all!! So, I didn't get out of it what I put out for it!!! It was like $29 with the shipping thrown in I will have to check back in with the specifics of P3 and calorie levels, though. Ok, book is in hand right now and she mentions that 1500 is a minimum and that you don't want to exist forever on 1500 calories!! So that should be a min and not a max. Hope this helps!!

Lilly< here is hoping that you will be successful today, stay intentional nad the scale will reward you tomorrow. No matter what they have or serve it is simply not worth going off protocol or worth changing your mind for. You are doing extremely well and we have faith you will continue to succeed in your goals.

Phenomenal! You're off to an INCREDIBLE start!! Good for you

Well just like the day before yesterday I am at a stall from yesterday. I'm not worried...it took more than three days to regain these six pounds back to ldw so I'm not gonna freak if I can't lose them in the same time. And I know I'm still shrinking, and I'm staying on protocol, so I know success is happening
And funny you mentioned costumes, Dawn, because I went in to have my measurements taken for the show yesterday and compared them to my last show's measurements (taken when I was -7 lbs into R1), and even taking different clothes and different people doing measurements I'm tons of inches down! 4ish from my lower hip, almost 2 from my upper hip, 3 from my ribcage, almost 4 (!!) from my waist, 1 from my thigh, 1 from my upper arm...I've definitely lost over a foot!
Lots of water today...I've been tea-ing a lot which always makes me feel good but I know nothing beats plain ole' water, so maybe it'll gimme a little extra somethin' in my loss tomorrow

Bah! Scratch that! I'd weighed myself just out of the shower which was silly. Drying off later, still no eating or drinking for the day, and I'd actually lost .6 lbs today Gosh protocol is just full of pleasant surprised :-D!

48 hours of the "Dreaded 72" down! I'm still at my LDW of 121.2 I'm hoping that I'd get some wiggle room but my body seems to really like 121.2. I'm hoping that I will be able to stabilize easily this P3.

Good Morning everyone!! Thank you for all of your advise on cabbage. I am going to avoid it for not and assume that is what caused my .2 gain. I might try it cooked instead of raw eventually, we'll see. I would like to be able to eat it, I'm not a huge cabbage lover, but it adds a little variety.

Anyway, I am down 1.8 this morning, so yea, that totally makes up for my .2 gain yesterday!!

Have a great HCG day everyone!!!

Popping in an popping out today. Nothing to report - still 112.2. I was expecting to be at least 111.8 this morning based on my pre-bed weight but I guess maybe it's the 'fat cells holding on to the water' part for me ... inches , baby! Also no visit from B in a few days. Anyway, down to the last week of P2 now.

Dawn - Thanks for the info
Sharon - Thanks for sharing the menu
Em - Awesome loss of inches!! Better warn those costume folks not to make the stitches on your costume too tight because you'll be shrinking even more.

Everyone with losses - HIGH FIVE! Those waiting, maintaining - hang in there.

Hope everyone has a perfect P2, P3 or P4 day!

I went UP two days in a row and found that cutting all fruits, and eating very clean..just chicken and a tomato one meal and chicken and asparagus for the other (I DID have my Grissini both meals, also) did the trick. I am now moving again.

Thanks for the advice. May be my next plan of action. I REALLY wanted to lose 4 pounds and I have 5 more HCG days.

I really want to speed my loss up, too, since my DD is returning from South Korea March 2 and I would really like to lose thee last 10# or so of this round! I may need to lose 10 more at some point in the future. I have to sort of wait and see...

It sounds like you're doing really well though. I know all about the wait and see thing. So much of it seems to be that way. I just hope I hit my goal for this round. It would be the first time in about 10 years that I'll be under 300 pounds. I'm soooo ready!!

I think we have to determine to just stick with it no matter what and eventually that scale moves!!

What are you eating? Are you exercising? Getting all your water? What about lotions, etc? I had to wear gloves on P2 to do so many things like putting on twins diaper creams, preparing kids meals that had fat and such. I know that it seems so drastic, but I took it to heart due to this from P&I:
The point is so important that I will illustrate it with two cases. A lady who was cooperating perfectly suddenly
increased half a pound. Careful questioning brought nothing to light. She had certainly made no dietary error nor
had she used any kind of face cream, and she was already in the menopause. As we felt that we could trust her
implicitly, we left the question suspended. Yet just as she was about to leave the consulting room she suddenly
stopped, turned and snapped her fingers. “I've got it,” she said. This is what had happened : She had bought
herself a new set of make-up pots and bottles and, using her fingers, had transferred her large assortment of
cosmetics to the new containers in anticipation of the day she would be able to use them again after her
treatment.
The other case concerns a man who impressed us as being very conscientious. He was about 20 lbs. overweight
but did not lose satisfactorily from the onset of treatment. Again and again we tried to find the reason but with
no success, until one day he said:” I never told you this, but I have a glass eye. In fact, I have a whole set of
them. I frequently change them, and every time I do that I put a special ointment in my eye socket.. Do you
think that could have anything to do with it?” As we thought just that, we asked him to stop using this ointment,
and from that day on his weight-loss was regular.

Anyway...I know how frustrating it is to be SO CLOSE. Keep the faith, you are doing an amazing job and your goal is in reach.:

I think I'm doing really well with all of those things except my water. I know I haven't been great about getting it all in. No exercise at all, though. I guess it will be loads of water with my protein and veg today and I'll see what happens!
