Thanks Sharon, Your encouragement is always appreciated, I need it. This morning was bacon, eggs and 1/2 a cannoli, brunch w/her Mom will be eggs benedict at Lester's. Than when she gets home, there's a burrito place we seen that I always wanted to try, so we'll pick something up there for lunch. There's the BB butter peacan ice cream, dark chocolate covered almonds and prezels, and dinner looks like the top of a loaded pizza. I'm trying to get her to load better that her last round that wasn't that great. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Ok Dizzy , this book thing you and Danielle, are talking about has me in Goolge searching for a title of a book "I'm getting more attention from men because I'm so darn HOT!".

I could find a song I'm so darn HOT !
Hmmm obviously, I need your help  Dizzy please ! I have no idea !. If you would be so kind to share the title of the book you recommended to Danielle, it would make me happy and my guess other's here would be interested in the read also, thanks Dizzy.

Dizzy you would have made Dr. S proud. I enjoy hearing your postive results, good job.

I hope Em is in Germany by now having a great time , and rested from you long disruptive flight.

Donia, great news on releasing 5 lbs. during a month of "regular" eating

It has taken me since August, I lost 40 in August took off my time did 3 weeks in Oct til my Grandma died lost 23 then. And now down 12.8 this week of round 3...Hope that helps you figure a time frame...Good Luck....
Great results Melissa

[quote=Brown;12932779Ok, so I took a break from 12/28 through tomorrow, 1/3. On 12/28 I was 152.8. This morning, I was 158-something. Tomorrow's sunday and I'd be skipping my hCG anyway, so I'm going to just try to eat decently, not 500 cals since I don't have any hCG in my system. On Monday, i'll pick back up the hCG, and have 15 more injections, and 19 more VLCDs before doing p3.

12/16-12/28 I lost 6.6 (not counting loading). I'm fairly sure this past week-ish of not being on protocol has pretty much put me back where I was, which was 159.4 on 12/28. So I'm pretty much going to throw out the first part of this round (pre-break) and start anew from 1/4 and finish up the 15 more injections/19 more VLCDs.[/QUOTE]
Good luck Brown on starting anew and finishing up the 15 more injections.

It has definitely taught me the super importance of P3 (maybe the most important phase where no cheats should be allowed in ordr o reset the hypothalamus correctly). I am really hoping to do a better job this P3 coming up.
Sharon, my story is the same as yours. I'm also with you on doing a correction round. I also did too many correction days and didn't reset properly in P3. This round will be much better for both of us

Even trying to eat P3 is hard when my Mom cooks something but hey, I may not make it down here for another two years so I've decided to enjoy myself. I am exercising, enjoying taking long walks in the great weather.

So - I'll get my weight back under control when I'm home and there is not temptation around every corner. I will have until early February to get back to LDW and I've been at the high range this entire P3/P4 anyway.

I've noticed I"m getting more attention from men in Florida. Maybe it's because I'm on vacation and have a different attitude. Maybe it's the book Dizzy told me to read, but hey, it's been nice.

I probably won't be on or post until I get back home next week. I hope everyone is doing great.
Glad you are enjoying your time with your parent in Florida. Getting more attention from the guys is always a big boost. Good for you Danielle

Must be 100% intentional to follow it as Dr. Simeon's wrote it. So far the hardest part for me to honor that is: first round P3 and last 2 weeks of P4; 2nd round P3 and last week of P4. Ah, I see a progression of someone stepping out of denial, owning 100% how she eats and owning the results. If I want to stabilize and maintain then I need to reset my metabolism. Hmmmm..big notes to self. But Dizzy you and Em are such living proof of when you do it Dr. S's way the results are awesome...thank you for setting such a fine example for all of us.
Well stated! I agree with you 100% on this is miracle weight loss when the plan is followed and we our honest with ourselves and take responsibility for our actions and the consequences when we don't stay 100% intentional. I know these last two week of P4 have been the hardest for me for keeping on plan.

Hey Suzy! I woke up at 4 am today!!! I can never sleep more than 5-6 hours so if I go to bed before 11-12 I'm screwed. Ninety-nine percent of the time I'm the first one here posting each day. Em is with a group from her school (UVA), doing a 2.5 week program in Berlin. She comes home on the 16th and goes right back to Charlottesville.

Pepper, we were going to, but she had to do a indium scan for her knee. We didn't know if the hCG would affect it, I didn't think so, but better safe than sorry

Or just more confident. It's hard to be attracted to someone who looks like they don't even like looking in the mirror. I notice a vast difference in the attention I get, probably simply because I'm not looking at the ground anymore.

Wow - that is amazing! What a wonderful break from the scale for a whole month! And then to find yourself down 5lbs after eating freely. Did you still exclude sugars/starches or did you eat those too?

This will be my first round of HCG and I have at least 6 or 7 rounds to do. Because of that, I decided that I wasn't going to limit myself at all through the month of December and yes, I even ate sugars and starches, a lot of them, really. I did pay a little bit of attention to trying to only eat while I was hungry and my portion sizes, but that's it. Honestly, it gives me hope that I'm going to do fine through P3, which is obviously always a concern.
Reads as if you were prepping yourself for a successful round that I'm sure you'll have!

Dizzy, I so look forward to your scale results each day. What a role model you've become.
And, btw, I would love to know the name of that book also, as long as it doesn't break any TOS rules.

The load shopping yesterday was no picnic either. This is golng to be a bad two days for me. I never thought I'd say it, but thank God I'm going back to work tomorrow Everyone have a great and INTENTIONAL day.
Bob, I feel so proud of you for being such a persistent HCGer.

My particular mantra that has served me well is: Want power vs will power.
Those 5 words serve me quite well, even in maintenance, and makes my decision much more easy on an emotional level. Started way back when I was an Atkins gal, still am, actually, and is one of the reasons P3 is so easy for me.

Hello hcg friends,

After a brief stint with hcg last year (derailed due to stress/life-- yada yada) I am diving into the world of hcg again. I am REALLY amped this time, and know I'm going to succeed.

But I have a question for you experts. I purchased some homeopathic hcg drops shortly before Christmas. Unfortunately I was out of town when it arrived, and so it sat outside in my mailbox for approximately 7 or 8 days. I am in Northern Virginia and the temps have been below freezing much of that time.

I have read that hhcg can tolerate freezing, but just not heat. But in your alls opinion, do you think this batch of hhcg still usable/effective, or should I scrapt it and purchase another bottle?

Thanks soooo much in advance!

-LA

!! I think it should be ok. It is mixed with alcohol which freezes at about -114 degrees. If you survived that, you'll survive protocol

Thank you Chelangel. I'm still a little confused though. I read pounds and inches but its not really sinking in. I have not been to the WL Center yet because I don't have the money. What is it they do differently than the way it was intended by Dr. Simmeon? I notice he was giving daily injections. Are most of you doing the nasal or sublingual? I appreciate everyone's insight as I'm not finding as much information online as I had hoped.

Miss me?

Hi Guys and Happy New Year!

I'm back at home.. got back NYE actually (well, at 11:30 pm on NYE because my stupid flight out of Miami was late) and have been ignoring most forms of communication.

My trip to PR was good.. I enjoyed my friends and family and really didn't worry TOO much about what I ate.

Came back and have been eating kind of whatever I want and per my signature line, I'm 1 pound over LDW but not really doing a correction day.. because I just don't feel like it.

I've been testing my limits, sort of and on NYD, S and I tore into a Brie en croute, made a pork loin roast or something.. had mac and cheese, creamed spinach, ice cream, bread, croissants.. it was a pretty decadent day... and I was only up .6 the next day. So it feels good to eat "bad things" and not be terrified. I go back to work on Monday, so starting tomrrow, I'll work on getting back into range.

OH and my fitbit arrived. It's AWESOME.
I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is interested in tracking their calories burned, sleep patterns, steps taken, etc.

I guess it's time I venture out? Or at least think about it. I haven't been home since getting back to LA and I GUESS I should buy groceries and stuff. I hate getting back to real life.

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Years! xo

DANCE BREAK
Apparently Dr. S meant it when he said loading weight is usually lost within 48 hours!
WooT! That is a huge drop! Good for you!! Doesn't it feel good?

HCG works, be accountable and say "well there is no reason why I can't [fill in the blank with whatever the change is] do this because this was written so looooong ago]. All that said to say, as I have said multiple times: HCG is the closest thing to a miracle for weight loss that I have ever found. My part? Must be 100% intentional to follow it as Dr. Simeon's wrote it. So far the hardest part for me to honor that is: first round P3 and last 2 weeks of P4; 2nd round P3 and last week of P4. Ah, I see a progression of someone stepping out of denial, owning 100% how she eats and owning the results. If I want to stabilize and maintain then I need to reset my metabolism. Hmmmm..big notes to self.
Well said! I tried my very best to stick to the protocol exactly as written and to do P2 and P3 exactly the way Dr S prescribed and it has worked for me so far! I think when people add things in and say "Oh I still lost using x or y" they forget that the biggest part is the resetting of your hypothalamus in P3 and tweaking P2 may not stop the weight loss but it will make it impossible to stay at your LDW in P3 and P4. I want the long term stability more than the fast weight drop.

Day 16 P3 and still only .5 over my LDW today! I ate like a pig yesterday, had two huge bowls of pumpkin sausage soup with sour cream, a half an apple, a huge chicken salad with avocado and napa cabbage, cheese and of course mounds of whipped cream on my coffee

I keep expecting a huge gain and have a steak ready for a correction day but so far I haven't needed one!

If I could eat like this for the rest of my life and not gain I would be so happy, forget P4 I am really resisting the temptation to jump back into another round of P2 to lose the last of the weight. I know I need to take the time to do it right but I want it gone now
