Ingredients
1/3 cup skim milk
1 (.25 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup white sugar (substitute Splenda)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
1.Pour milk into a small bowl, and stir in the gelatin powder. Set aside.
2.In a saucepan, stir together the heavy cream and sugar, and set over medium heat. Bring to a full boil, watching carefully, as the cream will quickly rise to the top of the pan. Pour the gelatin and milk into the cream, stirring until completely dissolved. Cook for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla and pour into six individual ramekin dishes.
3.Cool the ramekins uncovered at room temperature. When cool, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight before serving.

This diet is so amazing to me. I just can't believe that I am rarely hungry and that the craving are just not there. The hubby and kiddos chowed down on a wonderful looking pizza this weekend. It sure did look good, but it didn't tempt me. Yea!!

I LOVE HCG!!!!
Kristi, 8.8 lbs is amazing. KUTGW.

Fit, great loss.

Bob, so sorry about the Jets (my husband is from NY and we were hoping for a win too!)!! Does anyone have any great P3 friendly recipes for Super Bowl snacks??

Hope everyone has a great start to the new week!!
Thanks Diana, I'm pretty happy the way we finished the year, hopefully next year will be better, we're a young team. I like your plan, make sure you stay low carb, and keep an eye on the scale. I'll be P3 for the superbowl and I'm gonna eat me some wings.

Today is VLCD 21, and I am down -.2 from yesterday. Kinda bummed. I will take an interruption next week, but I would love to lose a few lbs before I do. I went to hot yoga yesterday which I assumed given the amount I sweat for an hour and a half, that I would have a nice surprise low this morning. Oh well, here's hoping for a big release today!

Have a great day everyone!
Lilly, your doing great, just watch the exercise. When your on hCG and you stress the body you stall. PLease remind me if I ever meet you not to have a bottle on wine in my hand. You gals are brutal.

2.6 loss today, so it looks like my stall is over for now, and I'm back in the running to reach my goal of somewhere in the low 50's by Feb 9th.

Gotta run, y'all have a great day!!

I guess those fat cell are trying to hang on, poor gut, they have one foot out the door, and the other on a banana peel. Yesterday I even went to the range, hit some balls and took my walk. Talk to you guys later. Have a great and INTENTIONAL day.

Your activity really could be part of the reason for the gain. I know I could tell that I was going to have some trouble after my shopping weekend when I walked so much, and I did. It seems so counter productive, but it really seems better to stay inactive. At least for me. Of course, you know you'll make up for it soon

Donia, it might be, But before this round when I was on P4, I was walking 4.5 miles everyday, and when I started this round I cut it down to 2.2 miles, and was losing. Then the cold spell hit , and I stopped for about 10 days. Maybe my body just has to get use to it again, I hope.

I love your metaphors! Way to go with the plan, and chances are that bit of exercise might have had something to do with the gain.

Dang, I wish this diet could be shared with the world. There's so many people who need it, but the pharmaceutical companies will make sure it stays underground. I worry that as soon as the media get hold of it here, problems will start with it being banned. Europe keeps trying to make things like vitamin C in doses larger than 250 prescription only! Idiots.

I hope I don't sound like a big whiner.. but no loss today. 3 days with barely a budge. I'm doing an apple day. If it's just psycological.. I'll take it anyway. I'm going to stop injections Sunday for my interruption, and I want to make this week count. I have a pretty busy day anyway, so apple day shouldn't bother me. (Am I developing crazy eyes yet?)

Tomorrow will be a doozy. I am being sent to Atlanta for a Spelling workshop. I will be gone from 5am until close to 6pm. They will provide lunch for us there but I will try to keep an apple and maybe some hard boiled egg whites in my purse? Yikes. And even worse, these crazy teachers I will be with want to make a day of it and hit Cheesecake Factory before our drive home. Are they kidding?! I guess I'll wear my game face and try to disguise the fact that I'm not eating.. order a prop.. maybe some soup? and sip water and chew a piece of sf gum?

Oh Week 4, I loathe you right now..

Have a wonderful day all! Shrink, Shrink, Shrink away!

Maybe your body is just getting used to this new low weight. Or maybe not. Your banana peel suggestion sounds about right

I'm down 2.6 today! 5 pound loss for the week and a total of 29.6 lbs on VLCD day 26. Me likey!!

Everyone is doing so well! Yay!! Keila, love the new pic...so pretty!

Em, I'm wondering if your rash is from the actual drops, considering it never left you til you were into P3. Oy.

Good morning to everyone..... well vlcd#9 and down another .6 !!
Not alot but any loss is a victory for me... so that puts me @ about 10.2 pesky lbs gone forever in my eyes!!!
So how is everyone else doing these days.... Still trying to get over this awful cold- I have been drinking lots of water and tea and have had an occasional Excedrin when my headache has gotten way bad so considering all this going on I'll take the little loss today- ... DH lost 2.5 this morning- so he is holding strong @ a loss of about 17 lbs.... we both are well on our way to getting to that -30 lb mark... anyhow off for now hope you all have a great intentional day!!

I'll post it in the recipes, but here you go:

Any one of these: celery, cucumber, onion, or tomato
Any one of these: apple, strawberries or tomato (tomato can be counted as either a fruit or a veggie)
Chicken
toss with ACV, 1 tsp dijon mustard (mine is from Whole Foods, 5 cals, no carbs, no sugar), stevia, a little salt or any other spices you like.

My favorite mixtures are:
Chicken, apple, celery (or cucumber)
Chicken, strawberries, celery (or cucumber)
Chicken, onion, tomato

Gooooood Morning All!
Glad to report that I didn't have a big multi-day stall to face: 1.2 lbs down this morning, putting me at 179 even and a 12.4 lb loss for my first week of VLCD !!! Size wise I swear I'm right where I was at my smallest of last round because I'm wearing my Thanksgiving day outfit (which was my teensiest) and I think it actually fits better than it did in November! I'm so happy!!! I'm only 6 lbs from my ldw (173), and once I get under 171.8 I'm in totally new protocol territory! Totally doable!!!! Cannot stop smiling
The rash is back on my chest but still not full force, and regardless of what I think it may be I'm just gonna up my water intake and hope it dilutes whatever's making me itch. Please remind me that it's worth it when I'm complaining in week 3 that "I'm not even losing any freaking weight and I have this stupid rash blahblahblah it's not worth it!" Just as a heads up
And thank you to everyone who wished me luck in my auditions and callbacks because I was cast! I'm in the ensemble for Pippin! I had doubts because I actually fell during the dance audition, but I guess they saw something they liked .
Love to you all and have great losses and maintains!

Daily Update

Good morning Peeps! I broke into a new decade today 259.8 I know it is by the skin of my teeth but I will take it. That is a .4 loss from yesterday. I am amazed at the way this program works and I am very excited to see the friends around me (on HHCG) losing very nicely as well. I think I may have actually ate a bit to much vegetables yesterday...Atleast for me it seems like they were pretty big portions. I also worked out last night and was very happy with my energy level and really went all out for about 35 minutes.

Great news Em! Sorry about the rash, I am praying for you and am telling the rash to go back where it came from! Great losses, so exciting! Do you know that you are destined for greatness? Well you are and this weight loss is part of your journey so please enjoy the process. As much weight as I have lost I have lost that much in emotional and spiritual baggage! I love change because it keeps us young!

Does anyone know if cabbage can stall you or cause a gain? I thought I had read that somewhere, but can't find it right now.

Today is VLCD #9 and I had a .2 gain this morning and the only thing I ate differently yesterday was I made come coleslaw last night with cabbage, dijon mustard, ACV, and spices. So, I can't think of what else it could be. I'm not going to worry too much about it. I'll up the water today and hope for a nice loss tomorrow.

I have heard that and always stayed away but recently I have been eating some and so far so good. I think everyone is different and you just have to keep an eye on it. I love the extra crunch and heartiness of cabbage so I for one hope it does not cause me an issue in the future. I have not had it raw yet, will try your cole slaw this week cause it sounds really good!

24 hours of the "Dreaded 72" are done. I was up .2 this morning but I think it's cause I was up at 2am and weighted then instead of at 5am like I normally do. I've not be able to sleep the last 3 nights so I just get up have my coffee and start my day.

Here's to Happy, Healthy and Maintaining/Reducing to you all!!

Congrats on the new decade, Slim, and thank you for what you said! Out with the old weight baggage, and bring on the greatness!!

Cabbage stalls many people. I've never eaten it on protocol because of that.

I promise you the Lotrimin works!! Like a charm. If it can get rid of diaper rash overnight, (and since you don't have kids I will tell you this...being covered in a wet diaper all night makes it hard for any type of rash to go away), your rash will be gone superfast!! Get thee to a store pronto!!! And that is for anyone else who is experiencing this "detox rash" as I now have named it!! How can I not name it that since you, Em, have come up with "Detox Diet"???

And congrats on the role you got!! We all knew you would get it!! Let us just hope they don't have to alter your costume too much this time around, huh? Or maybe that would be a good thing!!!

I have to start work soon, so I'll just give you all a big YAY for doing so well!

I stayed the same today but I was expecting it since I lost almost 5 pounds in 3 days. Need to lose 4 pounds by Feb. 4th to hit my goal for this round. I really hope I do it!!

WOE: Protein Power for 20lb loss, 2 Rounds of Rx HCG
Start Date: 1st Round HCG - 24 May 2009
Week 2 Starts Here!

Just a quick drive by check in this morning. 112.2 which is 0.2 down. I did have about 10g more protein at each meal yesterday since I did a strenuous strength training workout and thought my body might need a bit more protein. I also had about 2 tsps of cocoa which I haven't had before in P2 and some extra milk so I guess a loss is a bonus. I'll just inch my way down. So far I am really pleased with the 'reshaping' aspect of this round. No more loss on my face or 'girls' and loss of inches from the 'junk in my trunk'. I'd be really happy with around 112-112.6 being the top end of my LDW+2lb range so I probably need to get LDW to around 110 for that to be the case. I think 110 would be a little too skinny long term but if my last P3 is an indication I will probably stabilize closer to the top of the 2lb range.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hello everyone. I'm new to HCG. I started sublingual on 1/18/10. I follow Simeons' protocol faithfully and I'm having wonderful success. I've had very little hunger, I'm sleeping better, and I couldn't be happier. Woohoo!
