Yesterday I was up .4 and today down .6. 13 days until LIW. I have 5.8 to go to get to goal. Statistically I should be able to do it. I have enough hcg now to go a few more days if I need to. Unfortunately, a short round ends after the "dreaded" week 3.

I did measure myself yesterday. My first measurements were from when I "false started" at Thanksgiving. I have lost 4 inches since then. That certainly helped keep me intentional yesterday. While I don't remember back that far, perhaps 140/141 is an old set point for me.

I am technically in virgin territory now and that feels good. What will feel even better is to get in a lower decade.

Congrats on your loss of pounds and inches Beth. You'll make your goal in the 13 days left for this round. I just know you will.

Checking in...

I've been mia for the weekend but don't y'all start to thinking I had my head in a box of donuts!

I'm still at 151 (yadda yadda... Maybe my body wants to stabilize there)... But I've been eating fairly normally, I don't have an out of control appetite and I'm living life and eating somewhat like a normal person!

Of course, I want to see my ldw again.. and working on it.
I think in P4/maintenance, if you hit a wall, you need to eat fairly normally fir a day or two before going back to correction style days.

You guys all seem to be doing great and hello and welcome to all the new faces!!

Today is day 8 of P3. All is going well. The sugar and starch monsters seem to be held at bay. There have been little to no cravings for the last 3-4 days. I was at 132.4 this morning (1.4 lbs below my LDW of 133.8 and even more below my goal weight of 135.0).

I had my colonoscopy this morning and all went well. Unfortunately I have to do it again in 3 years (as opposed to 10 years) since my Dr. said I did not get everything out due to my drinking water to take the laxative horse pills instead of juice. The instructions just said clear liquids. I guess juice or ginger ale works better at totally cleaning everything out.

Anyway, two more weeks to go before I'm into P4. I am counting down the days. I hope the cravings stay away for these last two weeks and beyond. I really, really, really want to stabilize this go round.

Have a great day everyone.

We have another busy day today, including seeing "The Drowsy Chaperone".

Will check back later!

WOW! 10.5 in 4 days!!?? That is amazing. I'm down 10lbs in 6 days. Not as good, but I will take what I can get! LOL

Sounds like you are having a great time. Congrats on the releases. Hats off to you, I don't think I could do P2 on vacay. P3 yes, P2 NO way. KUTGW! Have fun.

New territory AND you're almost there! Hurray! Oooooweee I know this place is for hcg talk but I just had to let you know how green with envy I am over that cruise itinerary! Have so much fun!!! Yay! Shrinking out of your wardrobe I see? It's the most fun clothing problem to have

I am back from my AMAZING Berlin trip (sigh...) and on Load-in day 1 for my second round, feeling VERY full of food and rather large . I am just going to weigh myself on Tuesday when I start VLCDs; I know i've gained a lot back and I didn't want a pre load-in weight to make me shy away from loading to my fullest potential, so I'm just going to take all my numbers down from the first vlcd weight. I just mapped out my schedule for the next semester and can fit in a big (40 day) round and another short (23 day) round with p3 in between and plenty of time to get out of the hay by EXAMS (which we all learned this semester are the perfect way of me excusing mass protocol sabotage).

Anyhow, short story: I'm back! I'm back on the wagon! I know I made some big boo-boos but they're over with! And I am SO READY to be back on protocol!!!

Let the daily progress reports begin!
I'm glad you had an awesome trip. I can't wait to see your daily progress reports. GL, Happy Loading!

Today I feel great but yesterday I did not. I was sooo tired and weak and really wanted to cheat but I did not. Because I wanted to cheat I made and egg souffle with egg whites and a yolk, some coca and splenda(that is what the receipe used and I was to tired to care). It hit the spot and I did not go out to peanut and chocolate! Yay for me! I was surprised at my lost but I guess I was really off protocal. That receipe was suppose to be P2 friendly. Anyways I had been working alot of extra shifts and we have been really busy, so alot of extra labor work and late night while getting up early, so I guess I have been sleep deprived to. Well, off to a early night of bed since I work tomorrow night.

Thanks for the info, and to everyone who gave advice. I just did my first day VLC and actually GAINED 4.2 lbs. The only thing I can think is I ate Chinese as my "last meal" and my body's still holding water from the salt.

Heigh ho. Lucky for me I've done this diet before, and I know how great it is. I used to come here a lot, but sort of gave up writing and just hung about ghosting since any time I posted, when I got back from work there were 6 more pages(!!!). Back then, in my 1st round, I lost about 23lbs and in September was 150lbs, and fitting into things I could only wear when I was 140 (HCG just rocks on the bum and thigh fat!)

However, follow on an extremely crap year with an abusive drug addict boyfriend. It was all happening since about March with the drugs and on September 1st, I lost my job (thanks to him, since my attitude was so bad, but I couldn't tell them what was happening) and it escalated from then. You know it's bad when the ambulance crew know your dog's name! Xmas eve had the cops arresting him for domestic violence, and for these last couple of months, fast food joints in my square mile have been my lovers. Which is the same kind of relationship, isn't it girls? You give all that hot, greasy sexy food all your love and money, and it just leaves you feeling sick and ugly at the end of it, yet you keep coming back for more!

So here I am, back on the wagon. I've had to re-buy all my fat clothes, the big jumpers are out and the jogging bottoms back on, along with an extra 10 lbs from my fattest last year. But I only have 2 choices- get fatter, or get thinner, so I think I'm finally ready to start looking after myself.

On a lighter note, my mum, who was around 325lbs, has lost 50lbs, and even better, her blood pressure has dropped ridiculously and a lot of her meds are being cut out, or at least decreased. It breaks my heart for her that this stuff was around back when she started having problems with weight in the 80's (she spent her life at about 125lbs until she had my brother, when her thyroid packed in, we know know, 20 years too late), but you can't have everything. For me, HCG is about getting back my self respect, for her, it has literally saved her life. So sad that her doctor in Canada, who is so amazed by this stuff and so happy to be taking her off medications, isn't even allowed to prescribe it!

For all of you new to this diet, GO GO GO!!! Don't worry about the stalls and the gains, it just works. And when you DO stall, check how things are fitting, cos often the inches are going even though nothing's showing on the scales.

I know I'm gonna get a lot of messages of support and encouragement from you all, and I'm gonna thank you in advance, since as a waitress, I'm not online very often. It's good to be back in control, though, and I know it won't be too long before I'm feeling proud of myself once again.

I'm so happy for you that you have decided to make yourself the priority you deserve to be! I can't wait to follow your progress!

I'm checking in after being super busy the last several days. I'll try to catch up later. Today is VLCD 16. I really struggled last week with stalling and very small loses. I had 5 days in which I netted at total loss of .2. I was frustrated, but the only thing I could do was to buckle down and push through it. I knew I was 100% INTENTIONAL and my menu was no different than any other time. I'm happy to report that in the last 4 days I've lost 6.2 pounds, including 3.6 pounds since yesterday!!! I was surprised to see such a big drop at the start of week 3!!! I guess I was really battling a set point that I didn't remember. I'm firmly in virgin territory. I haven't been this weight in about 3 years.

I had a great weekend and I attended a workshop which was wonderful. I was giving rides to an 18-year old girl who was also participating. When I mentioned to her that I was on a diet, she looked at me all surprised and wide-eyed and asked, "Why are you on a diet? Where do you need to lose from???"
I was like, "I you!!! You are my new BFF!!!"

Lola, interruptions should only be done after 21 hCG days, and can last up to 14 days and no more. My interruption was after a complete 23 day round.

Quick question: What is the minimum number of VLCD's on P2? I was thinking 23...
I need to read P&I again. If week 3 is often times a slow week, I am thinking about doing a short round.
Have any of you done a short round vs a long round? What were your results? Which did you prefer?

Thanks for your help!

Dizzy, Thanks. I wish I could say I wish you team won, but this time I couldn't. Today was the first day I could eat P3 and last night wasn't easy. Today I had my eggs and cheese. It was great. And you remember that I "threw up in New York", that CRS must be kicking in again. Lived in the Bronx 31 years and bleed green and white. Living in South Florida 22 years, and still and always will bleed green and white.

Two of my nieces are also on protocol, one has lost about 9 lbs (she is struggling with cravings - she is in college where there is just so much junk), the other is a week behind the rest of us and has lost about 4 -5 (she didn't have much load weight).

Sounds like everyone is doing a great job of staying intentional, losing and maintaining! Hope to catch up in the next day or two!
Diana, still doing a great job, and so is your family.

Beth, congrats on being in virgin territory, my pretty much there myself. It's a good, but strange feeling because I haven't been here in about 25 years. KUTGW

Bob and Heather – thanks for the encouragement and support over the weekend! Bob – Yay for your Jets. I live in Charger-Town but am not really into sports!
Candy, 1.4 lb. loss is great, but be careful with the grissini and milk. Its only about two more weeks, you can do it without tweaking.

Alisa. that 6.2 lbs is great, sometimes we have stalls. Thats why they have apple days, but you fought though it. Good job

I need to read P&I again. If week 3 is often times a slow week, I am thinking about doing a short round.
Have any of you done a short round vs a long round? What were your results? Which did you prefer?

Thanks for your help!
Kimm, your right 23 days. I believe 23 is a short round and 40 is a long round. I have heard of some people going longer.

A little mindless handful of peanuts put me back up 1.2 yesterday.. and at a stall today. Wasn't thinking- just way to excited about the Jets. I sure learned my lesson. I am staying intentional, trying to remain positive.. I will be back on track in a day or two.
Lots of catching up to do.. hope you all enjoyed your long weekend! KUTGW

It's 23 days of hcg.. The usual 2 load and 21 vlcd's.
I did a long and short round and prefer the short.
For me, the losses just don't justify a longer round.

I will do a R3 and am planning for a 23 day round.
If it goes really well, though, I plan on doing what Bob and many have done and do an interruption and maybe a week or two more of vlcd's.

Thanks, I was thinking I had to do 23 vlcd's. I guess I will play it by ear. A friend of mine did really, really well doing the short rounds followed by P3 and right back onto a short round of P2.

Thanks again!

Today is VLCD #1 for me. I gained 1.5 lbs loading. I was worried this morning that it was going to be really hard, I actually considered doing another load day but decided against it. This has actually been much, much easier than I expected. I have had absolutely no cravings and haven't been hungry at all (guess this HCG really does work)!! Oh how I hope that will last!!!

I've heard a few women complain about that. Part of me wonders though, if everyone was wearing the correct cup-size before hand. I know that a shocking percentage number of women don't wear the correct size bra. They tend to lean toward having a smaller band size than they should with a larger cup size to compensate. If they gain weight, they'd rather assume they need a new cup size rather than a bigger band. (I'm guilty.) Professional sizing help is much more common now though, in part due to a show that Oprah did on this.

Good idea! Get back to being on protocol and in a few days you can see where you are.

Of course, I want to see my ldw again.. and working on it.
I think in P4/maintenance, if you hit a wall, you need to eat fairly normally fir a day or two before going back to correction style days.
You guys all seem to be doing great and hello and welcome to all the new faces!!
I think you’re right about a few days or normal eating … after I’d done a few successive egg days they seemed to not work as well … but I guess I only had one which resulted in 50% less loss than usual before going back on plan so maybe I shouldn’t jump to conclusions. KUTGW on living life and eating normally!

Wow – that amazing! 6.2 in 4 days! A good testimony for people who are in the middle of a stall – if you just stick to protocol the loss will come. It’s so great when someone unintentionally validates your losses. I still think of myself as a fat person so when people say things like – “Oh, you’re a thin person” I’m always surprised but it feels so good.

Yes, I had to buy all new bras! I went from a 34B to an 32A … I didn’t have much to lose! Maybe with the money I saved with HCG over lipo I can get a boob job instead. ;o)

You’re right about being able to stay OP for 2 more weeks and in the case of the couple of tspns of milk a day it does apply. With the Grissini though – when I said I was adding a second one it was of the two allowed. I am carb sensitive and so I’ve been scared of them. My last two rounds I didn’t have them at al,l mainly because I couldn’t find them, but decided this round I would try and see how I did with them. For the first few days I had none – then started having one a day and on Sunday had the second allowed. So far so good. Today I forgot to have one at lunch so I had one and a half at dinner. Hope the carbs so late aren’t an issue.

Isn’t HCG wonderful! It will last – you’ll be amazed at how you aren’t even slightly tempted by foods you usually love and how satisfying the protocol foods are. Look forward to seeing your losses.

Hope those doing VLCDs wake to great losses tomorrow morning and those in P3/P4 wake up to stable weights! G'night!

Hello everyone!!

I haven't posted in a while due to being super busy and when I finally got caught up-----my mouse died.

Today is day 8 of P2/R2 and I'm happy to report a loss of 11 lbs!!! I'm almost back to LIW-I gained 7lbs the first week of January and 8lbs loading.

I am really going to work hard to eat clean in P3/P4 so as not to undue the success I amgoing to have this round.

I went the spray route this time (verses injections R1) and have had wonderfull results. No hunger and great losses.

I am considering going 23 days and then doing an interruption. It seems to work really well for some and I just don't want to do the 40 day jaunt.
I am also worrying about the slowed losses that I had in my 3rd week.

Congrats to all of you with the great losses, to all the newbies, and stay INTENTIONAL to all of you having some bumps.

AND....... you people are KILLING me with the sugar free candy talk!!!!!
I drive past a Russell Stover factory everyday, and I love their s/f candy!!
They have free samples in there!!!

QUESTION FOR SPRAY USERS:
I know several people here have gone the spray route. Since it dissipates and doesn't stay in your system---can you go straight into P3 or must you do 72 hours eating P2 with no HCG in your system?????

Keila, that head in the donut box sounds pretty good, got me thinking about Donut paradise. Congrats on eating normal. ( that's about as far as we should go on the normal thing ) Your doing a great job.

Sharon, your doing a great job, WILL get stabilized this time, I know it.

Of course, I want to see my ldw again.. and working on it.
I think in P4/maintenance, if you hit a wall, you need to eat fairly normally fir a day or two before going back to correction style days.

You guys all seem to be doing great and hello and welcome to all the new faces!!
Good plan KMM way to go and not stress ! Keep on living gurl and enjoy every day

Sharon you are ROCKIN this P3. Way to go, so glad it's been easier then your last. You'll breeze thru the rest of P3 & P4
Hey so with your colonoscopy you didn't have to drink a gallon of that nasty laxitive stuff ...you just took pills? I'm asking cause 4 of my family members have had colon cancer, my mom (who had to do kemo), grandpa, great aunt and great uncle who all had to have surgery, so I even though I'm in my 30's I have to do a colonoscopy every 5 years and HATE that drink stuff a pill would be so much easier

Fitatforty: Good afternoon to all- Well I'm committed now today is R1P2 VLCD#1 and so far so good.... 2 days of loading and I was about 1.5 lbs . still doing alot of reading and I am so impressed by how wonderful everyone is and the great losses- I am going to stay intentional and do a 43 day round along w/my DH- he only needs to lose about 20 obs and for me I'd like to lose 30.... I know this is gonna work for me and I'm totally thrilled to finally be OP and part of the action.... so off for now and talk to you all again soon....

Klittle: Today is VLCD #1 for me.

Now that's what I call a WHOOSH 3.6 POUNDS in one night ! (I know alot of smilies but that is just AWESOME!) I bet you where doing a major happy dance! KUTGW way to stay 100% Intentional and the reward is grand

Lots of catching up to do.. hope you all enjoyed your long weekend! KUTGW
Hi lilly make sure and drink lots of extra water and stick with it. You may stall out but the HCG will reward you! Don't stress over it just keep on going girl

Good morning to all- Newbie here- Well today is VLCD#2 and had a loss of 4 lbs this morning!!! OMG I am totally thrilled with that number and totally makes for a great day... DH is also down 2 this morning.... Quick question for the fruit it says organic strawberries is anyone using just regular ones and not the organic? the price of organic is like $7 for a carton?? that might get spendy after awhile. Also is there anyone here doing the protocol that is a cancer survivor? I am 3 yrs a breast cancer survivor and was just wondering if anyone else who has had cancer is doing this also. Tks for all your help guys-

Down another pound today, making my total 12 lbs in 6 days of VLCD.

I don't have access to update my stats, so my current weight is 190.2 and I am about to break into the 180's tomorrow!

Congrats to all you big losers!

Tracy

Fit, 4 lbs is a great start, and don't believe you have to eat organic.

Yes my chest and cup sizes are smaller since doing hcg. Small sacrifice for better health.
