Gracie - I too am one of those who cannot handle cheese in P3 and even have to watch in P4. I am always so envious of those like Bob and Keila who can have cheesy omelets in P3.

I use 4-5 pumps of DaVinci SF syrup every morning in my coffee thru both of my rounds. I started at 168 pds and am now 4.6 away from my goal of 120. So for me they are okay...if your okay with Splenda. I use Stevia to sweetin everything else...just love my DaVinci flavorings for my coffee.

I can't believe it, .6 more pounds gone this morning!! Only 4.6 to go to reach my goal and I still technically have 2 more wks that I can do P2 before I must go into P3. I am so going to make my goal I see it ahead!

Thanks IC, I'm starting to feel a little hungry now, I guess the hCG is getting out of my system. I'm sure I'll make . If I go to sleep hungry, I wake up to Eggs and cheese tomorrow morning. Congrats on another .6 lbs you'll never see again.

That's so great!!! I don't know if I could do so well in that position.

I have stayed the same again. I spent a few hours shopping last night though and then we were at a party all night. I didn't cheat but I know my body isn't used to be so active. Hopefully, the scale will start to go down in the next couple of days so I won't have to do an apple day.

Down a full pound!!!!

Well, this a.m. I am down a full pound. Only 3 lbs. away from the 180's...
Yesterday was an incredible day of whale watching. Went on a zodiac and the whales were within came to less than 10 ft. from us; would go back and forth under the craft...turn on their backs, which they were probably 20 ft down. so even without an underwater camera I got this incredible water shots..their white markings all look turquoise like the water...so cool. I took over 1154 pictures but ended up with a very few good shots and 1 incredible one of the whale coming up out of the water...As you can tell it was awesome. Let's see which experience is the best..close whale encounter of moonlight beach massage...dang guess I gotta have a twofer in first place!!! Today is a laid back, gonna take a book and sit on the beach day. Have a great day.

Oh yes, I have no doubt you can do whatever you set your mind to. Yes, I also, get frustrated when the scales don't move, go up a little before moving down. My only suggestion is stay absolutely 100% INTENTIONAL to Dr. S protocol and eventually you will see the scales going through. I get frustrated, share on this group (venting here helps keep me focused on staying intentional), but then when I look at my records from previous rounds I am right on target. 1/2 way through this 40 day round and down another 16 # - well above the 1/2# average for women. Gotta just love HCG and the support that comes from forums such as this one.

Today has been a bit harder for vlcd2 as my head is raging but we are holding strong. Scale was down 4 pounds so that was huge. I'm not really craving anything or having trouble but my usual when my head is raging is to comfort myself with food. This time I am going to take a nap and hope to feel better when I wake up. Also have had some weird dreams the last couple of nights

What a cute pic you have! Way to go on that 4 lb. loss....
Those weigh-ins really help to keep us motivated.

Which MEdiral are you taking? I wish I had ordered the detox one.....a friend of mine is having way less cravings than I am!
Maybe I will up my drops from 12 to 15 each time.

my instructions were to use 15 from the start by all means up that dose!! i have tried both and preferred the detox but both worked well!

I am back from my AMAZING Berlin trip (sigh...) and on Load-in day 1 for my second round, feeling VERY full of food and rather large . I am just going to weigh myself on Tuesday when I start VLCDs; I know i've gained a lot back and I didn't want a pre load-in weight to make me shy away from loading to my fullest potential, so I'm just going to take all my numbers down from the first vlcd weight. I just mapped out my schedule for the next semester and can fit in a big (40 day) round and another short (23 day) round with p3 in between and plenty of time to get out of the hay by EXAMS (which we all learned this semester are the perfect way of me excusing mass protocol sabotage).

Anyhow, short story: I'm back! I'm back on the wagon! I know I made some big boo-boos but they're over with! And I am SO READY to be back on protocol!!!

Hi everyone,
I am down 2.4 today and .2 yesterday. It seems I do that everyother day or two; a small drop and than a bigger one. it is day 16 for me and 17.4 pounds gone. Today I feel great but yesterday I did not. I was sooo tired and weak and really wanted to cheat but I did not. Because I wanted to cheat I made and egg souffle with egg whites and a yolk, some coca and splenda(that is what the receipe used and I was to tired to care). It hit the spot and I did not go out to peanut and chocolate! Yay for me! I was surprised at my lost but I guess I was really off protocal. That receipe was suppose to be P2 friendly. Anyways I had been working alot of extra shifts and we have been really busy, so alot of extra labor work and late night while getting up early, so I guess I have been sleep deprived to. Well, off to a early night of bed since I work tomorrow night.

I am on Maui - Kihei area. Maui has lots and lots of wonderful sandy beaches. I also enjoy the Big Island--but very limited beaches...BUT a larger variety of type - white, black & even green sand. Kauai has limited beaches but is called the garden island because of all the lush vegetation. Neat thing is that Hawaiian beaches are all open to the public. If I can be of any other help just ask. Hawaii would be an incredible setting for a wedding: At sunset??? ahhhh how romantic....

I use 4-5 pumps of DaVinci SF syrup every morning in my coffee thru both of my rounds. I started at 168 pds and am now 4.6 away from my goal of 120. So for me they are okay...if your okay with Splenda. I use Stevia to sweetin everything else...just love my DaVinci flavorings for my coffee.

Thanks for the info, and to everyone who gave advice. I just did my first day VLC and actually GAINED 4.2 lbs. The only thing I can think is I ate Chinese as my "last meal" and my body's still holding water from the salt.

Heigh ho. Lucky for me I've done this diet before, and I know how great it is. I used to come here a lot, but sort of gave up writing and just hung about ghosting since any time I posted, when I got back from work there were 6 more pages(!!!). Back then, in my 1st round, I lost about 23lbs and in September was 150lbs, and fitting into things I could only wear when I was 140 (HCG just rocks on the bum and thigh fat!)

However, follow on an extremely crap year with an abusive drug addict boyfriend. It was all happening since about March with the drugs and on September 1st, I lost my job (thanks to him, since my attitude was so bad, but I couldn't tell them what was happening) and it escalated from then. You know it's bad when the ambulance crew know your dog's name! Xmas eve had the cops arresting him for domestic violence, and for these last couple of months, fast food joints in my square mile have been my lovers. Which is the same kind of relationship, isn't it girls? You give all that hot, greasy sexy food all your love and money, and it just leaves you feeling sick and ugly at the end of it, yet you keep coming back for more!

So here I am, back on the wagon. I've had to re-buy all my fat clothes, the big jumpers are out and the jogging bottoms back on, along with an extra 10 lbs from my fattest last year. But I only have 2 choices- get fatter, or get thinner, so I think I'm finally ready to start looking after myself.

On a lighter note, my mum, who was around 325lbs, has lost 50lbs, and even better, her blood pressure has dropped ridiculously and a lot of her meds are being cut out, or at least decreased. It breaks my heart for her that this stuff was around back when she started having problems with weight in the 80's (she spent her life at about 125lbs until she had my brother, when her thyroid packed in, we know know, 20 years too late), but you can't have everything. For me, HCG is about getting back my self respect, for her, it has literally saved her life. So sad that her doctor in Canada, who is so amazed by this stuff and so happy to be taking her off medications, isn't even allowed to prescribe it!

For all of you new to this diet, GO GO GO!!! Don't worry about the stalls and the gains, it just works. And when you DO stall, check how things are fitting, cos often the inches are going even though nothing's showing on the scales.

I know I'm gonna get a lot of messages of support and encouragement from you all, and I'm gonna thank you in advance, since as a waitress, I'm not online very often. It's good to be back in control, though, and I know it won't be too long before I'm feeling proud of myself once again.

How long do you do an interruption for? Is there a certain amount of days you should do?
