It is so much easier to do the program at school, isn't it? I have to stay away from the teacher's lounge....everyone will bring their goodies from home because we are all dieting! Quite a few teachers have done the hcg or hhcg in my building!
I haven't told ANYBODY about HCG (not even my Mom). The only people I can confide in are my online friends. You are lucky to have people around you that are doing it too.

We usually have a biggest loser competition in January at school...so I look forward to joining in on the fun to keep motivated. I'm sure they will think I don't have anything left to lose, so won't worry about me winning...

Broccoli Cheese Soup

BTW, if anyone may be interested, I posted my Broccoli Cheese Soup recipe in the recipe section.

I made a double batch yesterday, and it sure fit the bill for the weather we've been having........brrrrrrrr! We love it! Tasty and so very satisfying!

Will be having it again this evening!

Chelangal, New territory is great isn't it, just found some myself. You've got a heck of a plan there. I don't think I could be in Hawaii and be INTENTIONAL, but I know you can. We want to know every detail of your trip and see some pics. Bernice showed up and I'm sending her your way

New territory is cool, I haven't been here in a while, about 6 lbs from now is going to be big for me. And yes its slow down time for me also, but that's OK, this is not a race. See you later, KUTGW.

I am up from my goal of 135 due to my cheats yesterday so I'm hoping by Wednesday that extra water weight will be gone, gone, gone. That's the day I'm shooting for to be my last HCG day then Thursday and Friday the 500 cal days w/o the HCG. I would like to start P3 on Saturday.
Sharon, if I have my pick between 40 degrees and 90 degrees, I take 90. I've had all the cold winters I could ever want while "throwing" up in New York . With all the weight I have lost, It don't take much for me to get cold. I use to never get cold. Have some eggs and cheese for me on Saturday, I could really go for some about now. I believe my last hCG day will be Jan. 18 (I hope), I'm pretty sure I'll make it .

I do feel better today. I am also using what you are using but I started out with 15 drops 3 x a day. I think that is what the bottle told me. Well, here I go! I hope I do not crave or miss. That is worse than hunger.

Hi Suzypepper: Yep I am totally blessed to be retired. I am 69 years young and HCG is giving me a new lease on life. Prior to dealing with my issues of life (food was my drug of choice) I pretty much isolated. Now watch out world here I come. Even bought a small travel trailer, which my dog and I use for a few weeks each year. So while in Maui for a month I will be of course totally exploring the island...coasting a bike down Hana (think I have the name right); snorkeling A LOT; trying body and boogie board surfing. I already found a market that will have my veal (98% lean) ground and ready to pick up on the day I land. Will not allow life to get in the way of saying 100% INTENTIONAL to pounds and inches protocol. Whale watching is high on my list: got the binocs for that....I love water anything so just excited to get my Maui Revealed book out and see all that I have underlined. Next Jan. I have already scheduled a month to Roatan, Honduras...found a neat rental right on the Caribbean - literally out the door into the water - and will take scuba before I go...so want to swim under the surface with the incredible animal life....Am I excited about life...you better believe it...my bucket list is getting reallllly long. This will "teach" you to be curious and nosey

I didn't get a chance to take a picture after they were sliced so I can only share pictures of the whole cakes.

Sharon,
is this your last round of HCG? I really want to keep track of how you do because that is the phase that worries me. I want to be able to get to P4 and eating like a normal thin person, enjoy my food and be able to keep my weight stabilized. I am tired of going up and down.
I am excited for you!

Just read that you are a teacher...along with others on this forum. Let you guys know I for teachers daily..now I can have names/faces to go with. I truly believe that being a teacher is one of the most honorable and difficult jobs (especially in this age of PC). We're starting at the same stats! I am at 176 (following my two load days) and I would love to get to where you are currently at. You're giving me HOPE!!

I'm feeling really good about HCG now. I'm on Day 3 and the first VLCD day. I feel great, no hunger whatsoever... I think it might actually be easy to stay within the 500 cal range. I'm excited.

BTW... I live in WA state too. Seattle!

Hi Laura Thanks for the compliment! I started protocol on Sept 15, at 175.8lbs - did 40-something days of P2, then 9 days of P3 (where I stabilized and lost little bit more - eating around 1600-1800 calories per day on P3) then loaded and went right back on to P2 for another round of 28 days. I've been on P3 now or 15 days, (LIW 135.2) stabilized and lost a little more (132.4 - love having wiggle room!). I'll load again on the 4th and 5th and hopefully this will be my last round - we'll see. I know there is some debate as to whether or not jump back in to P2 so quickly (cycling), but seems to be working for me, no signs of immunity and no difficulty with stabilizing. I think it's different for everyone - just need to decide if you want to take the risk I think key to not hitting immunity is reloading, building the fat stores again after so many days of no fat whatsoever - don't know, just hypothesizing.

Good luck to you!!! I'm just across the mountains from you. I lived in Seattle for 20 years, then moved over to this side of the Cascades about 6 years ago. I'l love to meet Washingtonians on this protocol - would be fun to have a simple gathering of like-mindedness regarding this great protocol!

I had sugar free ice cream while on P3. I would not recommend it though. For me, it made me crave real sugar items. The sugar content in the milk that ice cream is made from can be rather high.
thank you sharon for the compliment! i feel so much better too -- especially with ease of movement, what a joy! hmmm... thanks for your thoughts regarding the ice cream --- i think i'll take your advice and wait for loading days. p3 has been so easy to follow and stay on - don't want to throw it off just because i have a bit of a hankering for ice cream. it's not a strong craving - can easily wait for loading days!

Still waiting for my drops to come in - I hope they'll be in the mail today. Am very anxious to start loading! I did not do a correction day yesterday as needed, so I am still about 4 lbs above LDW. Will do an egg day today unless my drops come in, if they do then will jump right in to loading and R2. Have a great Saturday everyone!!

2009:R1 - 34 injections - 30 pounds/14 inches lost (I have 6 more injections before I'm done with this round!) I'm hoping for more inch loss during P3 and P4.

2010:60-75 pounds depending on clothing size/how I feel - assuming 2 to 3 more rounds.

The greatest thing is that just 2 months ago I was overwhelmed and never thought it could/would happen. Now I have such a peace because I KNOW it WILL happen. How great it is to have a "New Year's Resolution" that is going to come true!
Welcome!! You've done amazing. Post often!

So many of you have been a source of comfort and inspiration to me and I have seen my thoughts and concerns reflected in your posts.

Anyway, for the new year I have decided to jump on in!

I've done two rounds of Rx HCG. The first was 23 days but after a trip to Mexico one week after starting P3 I gained most back and so since it had only been 14 days since my LIW I called it an interruption and started VLCD again immediately and lost the weight again plus a little more. When I started P3 again I really struggled with stabilizing. I took advice offered on another message boards and started eating lots of avocados and other foods which I later found out I was allergic to (blood test). The advice was also to not immediately correct at 2lbs but see if changing foods, eating raw etc would bring the weight back down. Anyway, this led to a second round and this time I fared much better with stabilization after following the tips and advice shared on this board as well as learning from what many of you were trying and being successful with. I never went more than 1.6 lbs over my LIW of 115.8. When I started adding back starches in P4 I've had to do some correction days. Egg days work better for me than steak days - can usually count on a 2.5lb loss, steak days are around 1.6 - 1.8lbs.

Last night we had dinner out and I think I ate more carbs than I have in the past year put together! Ravioli appetizer, lasagne main course, gingerbread pudding with ice cream for dinner, chocolate and cheese! I fully expected to be 3-4 lbs up this morning but was only up .2. - perhaps the gain will show up tomorrow. I woke up this morning with a very puffy looking face and feeling like I had a hangover! Yuch! I did an egg day today (mostly) so hopefully it will mitigate the damage a little.

After eating out at friends and friends of friends many times over the holidays and not wanting to offend the hostesses I am about 5lbs over LIW - over the next week I will alternate correction days and P3 eating to see if I can get back down. If not I am thinking about doing another round - this time with HHCG.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

-C
Welcome! Thanks for sharing your success story, Very inspiring!

About 100 to go. I haven't been that thin since grade school, so I'm not sure exactly...
You've done great so far. I think you will surprise yourself and and achieve your goal!

Still 5 pounds over my LDW so I will exhale after that weight is gone and I'm into new territory. I think it's been 7-8 years since I've been the weight I'm going to be very soon.
Wow, that's a great release for your first day! You'll be in virgin territory real soon!

Great job losing "only" a pound a day! I hope to only lose that much!!

I found a recipe on Food Gawker for a red velvet cheesecake and made that. It was pretty good. I wasn't in "Da Bomb" category for me as far as taste goes, but it was still pretty delicious and it was all eaten. (The pumpkin cheesecake I made for Thanksgiving was in the "Da Bomb" category.) I also made my Southern Pecan Bundt cake. That is my favorite cake and it is really, really good.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture after they were sliced so I can only share pictures of the whole cakes.
Yummy!!

You are such an inspiration to me!! Your trips sound wonderful. BTW, I visited Roatan about 2 years ago and it is beautiful! I wish I had a month to spend there!

Oh, I looove House Hunters International. Nope doggie Murphy doesn't get to go..she stays with friends and she realllly likes it there...they even let her sleep on the bed (she is a Chessie-not a little dog). Nope don't know anyone in Maui, but since I will talk to a fence post figure that won't be a problem. Yep, solo adventure..keep looking for someone who would like to travel and we won't kill each other in the first 24 hrs...so far no takers!!! Never know what I might find on the beach!!! Had a successful shopping trip: 4 new shorts/shirts outfits and $5 spent...now I call that success....OK gotta get my food cooked..headed to the last New Year's party in a few minutes and my friend is an excellent cook and will have all these to die for things available, but not for me...I just pack my own...that is the neat thing about 500 protocol doesn't take up much space in my purse!!! Oh and wow someone's hero!!! But dang I can't put the superwoman cape back on...finally got the thing off after I discovered how many holes it really had and here for all those years I just knew I could do all and be all!!!

My bottle said 10 drops 3X day. If your bottle doesn't say, then I would start there and increase the drops a few if you feel too hungry after a week.

Tracy,

I haven't been on here for a few months, but I just saw your new picture. You are doing great!!! I love to see everyones pictures and the changes.

Starting a new round today for the new year!

Lost 23 lbs last round gained back 5 over Nov and December. Goal this year is to lose 35.

I just decided to weigh myself for the first time all month to see where I'm starting off from before I load. I've somehow lost FIVE pounds!! How is that possible? I've been eating whatever I want all month long. I expected to have gained at least 5 pounds. Oh well, I'll take it. Maybe my body is sending me a message?

I have a question and hopefully I can phrase this as to not violate any TOS. I will soon be going to a medical doctor, a weightloss clinic that offers a few different types of plans or combination of plans. The doctor is an actual doctor of internal medicine that does full exams as well as the medical weightloss unlike some doctors that weigh you, take your BP and give you a bottle of pills. Anyway, this center offers optifast, another brand of liquid diet, phentermine and now TrimYou hCG which I assume is an injection. So here is my question.

Is there a thread on here or can anyone tell me more about hCG and the type of plans you follow? Knowing hCG is the pregnancy hormone, I'm wondering if this is going to make me super nauseous like it did every time I was pregnant. lol So, if anyone can direct me or give me their takes I would appreciate it!

I had no issues with nausea or anything like that. I don't think anyone really does, except maybe in the first few days relating to sugar detox. I had normal sugar detox symptoms like a headache for a few days, but nothing bad. I go through a wellness clinic and take injections. I highly recommend that you fully read Dr. Simeons book Pounds and Inches. All hcg protocols are based off of his original work. It's the "bible" for hcg. Many clinics deviate from it, but most people on here will tell you not to deviate. You can get it for free several places online. Just google it.
