All possible because of hcg!

DH took me to my favorite pizza buffet last evening, I'm sorry to say it really tasted good. We didn't get home last evening from square dancing and party at my mom's until after 5 a.m. (freezing rain to drive home in). Put cabbage/kraut/apple sauce/pork chops in the crock pot for lunch and slept until noon. Up .7 lbs today, so feeling really good that it wasn't more with the pizza and ice cream sundae fun at my mom's.

Hope everyone had a great new year's day and that we all have much success in 2010!

Janeann, thanks for what you posted! Really enjoyed that.

You guys have me so excited to start this diet, I love how active you all are in this thread and your results just speak for themselves. I just ordered some Mediral HCG, but I may not receive them until the middle of the week. I'm dying to get started, but I think I may have to wait until Friday, since I'm going on a road trip I think that might be better to let that coincide with my 'loading days' instead of starting and putting myself in a challenging position of being @ a weekend conference where temptations will be. I hope everyone had a fantastic New Years Eve!

I did not even have the energy to go shopping and my head hurts so that doesn't help. Since Airborne has a canola oil in it, I will go by vitamin C caps instead. I bought baby lotion and mineral oil and will get some vaseline. I will you kids bubble gum toothpaste and will baby wash to wash with too. Do you think I will do fine then? I have done 15 drops 3x a day, do you think I should 4x instead? Off to lay down and hope I feel better tomorrow. I have to waitress tomorrow night so I need my head to be clear.
Tracey
Tracey....I also had headaches the first 3 days. I've read on this message board that many people get them. (Perhaps from detoxing?)
I do homeopathic drops (MEDIRAL) and I only do 10 drops 3 times a day. I think I read that people start with 10 and if they still have hunger they increase their drops slightly.

I am sipping french roast coffee with a good two inches of freshly whipped heavy cream on top and feeling very proud and indulgent

I want to lose another 30 next round and then maintain for life so in late Jan if all goes well on P4 I will be doing another round.

Have a great and intentional day everyone!

I am definitely a lurker on this thread but wanted to add my 2009/2010 stats because it always inspires me to read about others' results.

2009:R1 - 34 injections - 30 pounds/14 inches lost (I have 6 more injections before I'm done with this round!) I'm hoping for more inch loss during P3 and P4.

2010:60-75 pounds depending on clothing size/how I feel - assuming 2 to 3 more rounds.

The greatest thing is that just 2 months ago I was overwhelmed and never thought it could/would happen. Now I have such a peace because I KNOW it WILL happen. How great it is to have a "New Year's Resolution" that is going to come true!

WOE: Protein Power for 20lb loss, 2 Rounds of Rx HCG
Start Date: 1st Round HCG - 24 May 2009
De-Lurking And Hello!

Happy New Year to everyone! Lurking sounds so seedy but I guess in net-lingo that's what I've been doing! I just want to thank everyone who contributes this board for being such a great support for those who declare themselves and countless more like me who haven't. So many of you have been a source of comfort and inspiration to me and I have seen my thoughts and concerns reflected in your posts.

Anyway, for the new year I have decided to jump on in!

I've done two rounds of Rx HCG. The first was 23 days but after a trip to Mexico one week after starting P3 I gained most back and so since it had only been 14 days since my LIW I called it an interruption and started VLCD again immediately and lost the weight again plus a little more. When I started P3 again I really struggled with stabilizing. I took advice offered on another message boards and started eating lots of avocados and other foods which I later found out I was allergic to (blood test). The advice was also to not immediately correct at 2lbs but see if changing foods, eating raw etc would bring the weight back down. Anyway, this led to a second round and this time I fared much better with stabilization after following the tips and advice shared on this board as well as learning from what many of you were trying and being successful with. I never went more than 1.6 lbs over my LIW of 115.8. When I started adding back starches in P4 I've had to do some correction days. Egg days work better for me than steak days - can usually count on a 2.5lb loss, steak days are around 1.6 - 1.8lbs.

Last night we had dinner out and I think I ate more carbs than I have in the past year put together! Ravioli appetizer, lasagne main course, gingerbread pudding with ice cream for dinner, chocolate and cheese! I fully expected to be 3-4 lbs up this morning but was only up .2. - perhaps the gain will show up tomorrow. I woke up this morning with a very puffy looking face and feeling like I had a hangover! Yuch! I did an egg day today (mostly) so hopefully it will mitigate the damage a little.

After eating out at friends and friends of friends many times over the holidays and not wanting to offend the hostesses I am about 5lbs over LIW - over the next week I will alternate correction days and P3 eating to see if I can get back down. If not I am thinking about doing another round - this time with HHCG.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

-C

Suzy, I've eaten all my apples, all my grissini bread sticks and tomatos on both my rounds before this, and have done well. Follow Dr. S protocol to the T and you'll lose Pounds and Inches. Give the plan a chance, you just started. Don't tweak to soon.

Hey fellow ex-lurker! What you said about having peace is so true! In the past when Atkins wasn't working for me anymore and my weight kept going up I felt like I was out of control and had a sense of helplessness and desperation. Now I know that HCG works and is there if I need it. Even considering having another baby doesn't scare me because I feel sure I would lose the baby weight. The only uncertainty for me is stabilization - I have had one failed attempt so worry that might happen again.

Congrats on your losses to date and good luck for your next rounds!

Great losses in 2009! So many people have managed to achieve weights they haven't seen in decades - for me I got to a weight I hadn't been since I was 21 (turning 40 in a few months). My original goal was 125 but when I got there I could see that I could get lower and still had a week or so of VLCD left. In no time you'll lose the 100 and then you can see/feel and decide whether to go lower or not.

I was really fatigued the first few days and I had a headache at the end of the first week too. I think the headache is detox, all the bad crap is being eliminated from your body as you start eating so clean. It will go away, and this is where drinking a lot of water really helps too. I used kiddies strawberry toothpaste all through my first round I think the 3x a day dose is ok unless you are hungry, then maybe up it to 17 drops. But only mess with the dose if you feel real hunger. The fatigue will go away but you probably will sleep more than you normally do while doing P2.

I took a lot of detox baths with baking soda and epsom salts to help clear out the toxins from my pores and they seemed to help me a lot and I usually had nice losses the day after I had a detox bath.

You can do it! It gets easier!

Thanks for sharing your stats and thoughts! Congrats on your success to date and keep it going into the new year and the next rounds. You can do it!

I know what you mean about feeling overwhelmed at the start, I researched this protocol for almost a year before I even posted asking about it and I was totally overwhelmed to begin with. This group are great and DebK was awesome helping me through all the little baby steps at the start

Come back and post more often and let us know how you are doing.

Candy and thanks for sharing. I am just into my first P3 and going through the same issues about what to eat and how much. I think that it is really important to correct as soon as you hit that 2 lb mark per Dr S. It is a lot harder in P3 to figure it all out. Come back often and share your results with us!

Good morning!

Yesterday was VLCD day 1 for me and I let go of 4.6 pounds! I'm fighting a cold and expecting my period, so I'm a little foggy feeling, but other than that, everything is great! Still 5 pounds over my LDW so I will exhale after that weight is gone and I'm into new territory. I think it's been 7-8 years since I've been the weight I'm going to be very soon.

to all the newcomers...you're in the right place!! Congrats on making the decision to stand for your body in 2010!

Daily check-in

Good morning All, Today is VLCD 8 of R3, and my weight is 195.5 lbs, a 1 lb. loss from yesterday. This is probably what I'll lose daily from now on or less, but I'll gladly take it. Every lb. or less released is a lb or less closer to our goals. Everyone have a great day.

Way to Go Bob, 1 lb. down is great and I hope it continues day after day.
