start making your loading wish list now . Read P&I and then reread it a few times. Make some menus and shopping list for loading and for you first few days or week of VLCD. Come here to ask any questions you have after reading. You'll on your way to REDUCING soon!

Put the drops in a small glass of water and gently stir to evaporate the alcohol. Use a chopstick and stir gently. Try to swish the water under your tongue a bit then swallow. That should help eliminate the alcohol.

Happy losing everyone!
Awesome update! It's all good - I was also amazed at how post-protocol I never - well, hardly ever - felt tempted by the bread basket. There was just one time where it was soft, white, piping-hot-straight-from-the-oven bread that I had a moment of longing. Feel the same way about pasta and potatoes - never thought I'd no longer miss them.

Holding thumbs that despite good eatin' today you will not need to do a correction day tomorrow!

I've done two rounds of Rx HCG shots and if I do another round I will be trying HHCG because so many people have had great success with it! I'm positive you will too. If I can't shake these lbs that I gained over the holidays I may be joining you on VLCD next week.

Happy loading when your HHCG arrives!

HI everyone,
I am feeling so much better after a hungry and weird feeling day Monday. I actually ate a meal earlier than usual today but was afraid to because I did not want that hungry, empty feeling and guess what? I have been satisfied all day, not feeling the need to eat. I also feel clear and energetic. Is this the hhcg? I just received my book "HCG Diet Made Simple" and can't wait to read and use the receipes! Also, I was doing some searching and found this wonderful post from someone who has maintained 4 months so far. Here it is:

Just wanted to send an update about where I'm at after the holidays. I did homeopathic HCG drops for 51 days, lost a total of 38 on HCG ended at 156.6 pounds. I ended at the beginning of September. I'm now floating between 145-148 depending on the day. And that's AFTER the holidays. I let myself enjoy them without going overboard (too much). My metabolism is completely fantastic. I can go out to eat, and go up a pound or two the next day, but it's right off the following. I feel much better, look better, and this program changed my life! So all of you in the middle of the diet, I hope my story can encourage you all to keep going! I had a few slip ups on the diet, but always got back on track. So Best of luck to all of you!!

I found this encouraging!

Yes, I did .. a LOT! Was worried for a while there when it came out in handfuls each time I washed it. I didn't really do anything about it and after a while started seeing some new hair growth along my path so I thought it would probably grow back. Just cut my hair short until the new growth grows in a bit. I have seen some recommendations on other boards about supplements to take but can't remember what they are. Maybe a Google search will find them.

You having that problem?

Yes, and I am still losing it. (haven't had any rx hCG since end of August)
My mother and aunt, both who used rx, had the same problem. Mom got a supplement that really has helped, and aunt used hair loss topical system that helped.

Thanks Aggie, Grizzy and Sharon. That pic was three years ago, while I was playing with my BFF in Flagstaff.

I'm having VLCD 2 today, and I showed a 2 pound loss this morning. I'll take it!

I've had some hunger spells, but I figure I'm just adjusting.

Grizzy, I stopped my thyroid and BHRT, just to see how my body would react. So far, so good. Hot flashes during the night while loading, but none last night. I'm incredibly COLD for the first time in my life.

If I can find HoneyCrisp Apples....I use them. Sometimes they cost so much $ per lb......BUT....I found a box of 6 at Sam's Club for less than $6.00. They are HUGE....so I don't even eat a whole one each day.

OH...and with them lemon in the salad...they stay really white and pretty

I really will have to try this recipe. I love honey crisp apples. We planted one a few years ago after discovering this variety at one of my board member's orchards. Hopefully the tree survives the damage that a deer decided to do to it this fall by sharpening it's antlers on the bark. We still have a year or two to wait on harvesting our own apples from it.

Great! Thanks for the info - I'm pretty sure I'm going to start a new round next week because I am having trouble shaking the 5 lbs I gained after the holidays. Egg days always gave me 2.5 lb loss but my latest was .8. Steak day was 1.4 but this morning was up .4 even though I ate clean yesterday. I was thinking that this resistent weight loss is why I did hcg in the first place.

Am going to ask my NAET doc to treat for alcohol but will also what you suggested. Thank goodness I found alcohol-free stevia!

Hope you have a great weekend.

I had hair loss after doing Fat Flush for a few months years ago. I took Biotin but I don't recall the dosage. It stopped the hairloss and eventually it filled back in. I have a ton of hair so it wasn't a big issue.

Question

What is the least expensive yet still as effective way to get started on the hcg plan? The clinic here wants 200$ every 6 week cycle. Is that a good price?

I was very cold all through vlc days for the first time in my life too. It was most unusual I would take hot baths to warm up. I didn't have any hot flashes or night sweats at all when I took the hHCG and I slept very well. The night sweats started about the third day after I stopped P2 and moved on to P2 which is about when the HCG leaves your body.

Ragdoll (Barbara) gave us a list of supplements that she found out about. Search her posts from maybe Sept or Oct. or search the threads for hair loss. Also, Mom found her supplement by googling "hair loss hcg". She gets it at GNC. Btw, your family is beautiful

Oh I forgot about that one! Thanks Dizzy! Biotin is definitely one of the hair/nail powerhouses. Oh, and I will now think of you as "the incredible shrinking woman". You are really a poster child for protocol!! KUTGW!!

Today is VLCD 5, and I am down -1.0 this morning.

After washing dishes for an hour last night (by hand), I had a big -oh-no- moment, and hoped the soap wouldn't stall me this morning. I also had P2 chili yesterday and was nervous about how my body would react to tomatoes. All that worrying for nothing

My biggest challenge is knowing how to respond when being invited over to someone's home for lunch or dinner/ I've been able to get out of the invites so far, but I won't be able to forever. It might be a little rude to show up with a tupperware of chili.

How have you handled situations like this in the past?
