Today is laundry day here on vacation in Atlanta. Fortunately the hotel has a coin-op. I can do it all at once and then get on with our day.

We are going to the Coca Cola museum and then to Underground Atlanta. It is what the older boys really want to do. Trying to do at least one thing on the top of each person's list.

Unfortunately I am up 4.8 over my modified LIW of 143. I set a 5# gain limit for vacation and am almost there. Yesterday was a complete indulgence day. We went to The Varsity (a complete greasy spoon) for lunch. I had two chili dogs, onion rings and most of an orange frosty. For dinner we went to a Persian place and I had bread and lots of basmati rice. For dessert we went somewhere else and I had tripple chocolate cake.

I figured it was better to do it all in one day rather than spread it out. Today will be extreme P3 with lots and lots of water. TOM is very overdue and I woke up with puffy fingers. I know it has to do with what I ate yesterday.

I told DH about my 5# goal during the vacations. His response: "Is that hard to do?" Duh!!! I explained that, yes it is, especially because you don't know what is in anything you eat. Take the sausages for breakfast, they could have sugar, corn syrup, hfcs, etc. I think he got it though.

Fingers already feel better since I have been up and moving. Am also going to drink lots of oolong tea. It certainly can't hurt.

I have also decided to do R2 when I get back. TOM should have paid his visit by then, and if not, I'll start as soon as he has been here for a few days.
Have a great time, it's been years since I've been to underground Atlanta, I heard it is really nice now. Are you planning to go to the aquarium? I've heard it's worth a visit.

got some Good Earth tea from my sisterinlaw for Christmas; has peach, pineapple and mango. it sure is good with some lemon Stevita!! I have been drinking it hot and cold. MMM good. I don't like the Yerba - to me it's nasty, but I will drink it. I know what it's like to wake up with swollen fingers - boy, I hate that feeling! Best of luck...you're gonna make it!!

back!! I don't have young children in my house, but I continued to cook for my teenage daughter and my husband - wasn't even tempted to eat what they were eating - my reaching my goals was more important. I continued to bake cookies and bread for them while on protocol and never once cheated in P2. Keep your eye on the prize and you'll be fine!

Happy New Year to all!

Good morning, fellow HCG'ers,

It's been good to be back reading how everyone has done...I had a fairly good P3 and P4, maintaining within 3 lbs of my LIW. I started loading yesterday and will finish loading today. I was up to 142.9 after one day of loading (wow!) and we'll see what tomorrow brings.

73 lbs gone in 2009
50+ lbs to go in 2010

All possible because of hcg!

DH took me to my favorite pizza buffet last evening, I'm sorry to say it really tasted good. We didn't get home last evening from square dancing and party at my mom's until after 5 a.m. (freezing rain to drive home in). Put cabbage/kraut/apple sauce/pork chops in the crock pot for lunch and slept until noon. Up .7 lbs today, so feeling really good that it wasn't more with the pizza and ice cream sundae fun at my mom's.

Hope everyone had a great new year's day and that we all have much success in 2010!

Janeann, thanks for what you posted! Really enjoyed that.

Congratulations everyone on your BIG losing in 2009.....You guys have all inspired me since September when I began nose-holing in on your daily conversations!

Today is my 3rd VLCD day....I don't think I will eat tomatoes today! They must stall me a little....

Question: How many of you eat BOTH apples daily to feel more full? I also ate two apples yesterday along with the chicken/tomato chunk soup I made.

Congrats! You should be proud of how well you've done. I bet when you show up in your new clothes people will be wanting to know how you did it. Now get rid of the old clothes, so you don't risk reverting back to them. Clothes that are too big make it too easy to gain weight and not notice.

Happy New Year

Hi HCG Friends,

Just popping in to wish each and every one of you a Blessed New Year!

Haven't decided when I'll start R2, but right now doing really well with maintenance. Now that the holidays are finally over, I'll have more time to be on the computer and check in more often.

Congratulations to all those who have released unwanted fat, and a most warm welcome to all the newbies.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

This is my second day of loading. I don't feel as bad as I did the first time, but it's still pretty hard to get the food in. I'm up over 4 pounds since yesterday. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow.

In 2009 I lost 24 pounds.

In 2010 I will lose 50 - 60 pounds. More if I need to.

2nd day of loading. I hope I am eating enough. I feel like such a cow. I also have a headache yesterday and today(never get those). I am also completely exhausted. Is this just by chance. I turned down work tonight because I am going to bed now. Tomorrow will be my first low cal day, do you think I will feel better. I did not even have the energy to go shopping and my head hurts so that doesn't help. Since Airborne has a canola oil in it, I will go by vitamin C caps instead. I bought baby lotion and mineral oil and will get some vaseline. I will you kids bubble gum toothpaste and will baby wash to wash with too. Do you think I will do fine then? I have done 15 drops 3x a day, do you think I should 4x instead? Off to lay down and hope I feel better tomorrow. I have to waitress tomorrow night so I need my head to be clear.

Tomatoes stall me every time I eat them--even give me a slight gain. I love the P2 legal chili...but eat it only on P3/P4 cause of tomato issue. Great detective work on what and how your body reacts. NOPE< NOPE NOPE...only 1 apple a day...suppose to never eat the same of anything...different protein, different veggie, different fruit - oh well, grissini and melba you can have 2 of!!!!! What you are doing is what HCG protocol is all about...with those records you will be able to see a pattern and know what and how to do ... I am on R3P2 and NO tomatoes, NO oranges..was just not looking at my comparisons of 3 rounds and every round I have been within .2 of the previous round loss for the day.....if I can't be 100% INTENTIONAL to the way Dr. S wrote it, I will not have success....My intention is that by the time I have lost my 100+ lbs I will also have LEARNED to reset my metabolism ... already know that the last week of P4 is when I get cocky and relax and sabotage myself...Happy New Year and anxious to join you on your incredible journey to lower scale numbers.
