Hi Miz Grits. Since my bio-identical hormones came in cream form, I stopped using them during P2. I had to take a maletonin before bed to help me sleep though since I wasn't getting the progesterone that helps with sleeping. Otherwise I haven't had a problem with not taking the cream. I'm not having any issues with hot flashes or night sweats when I'm on the HCG.

Hi Colleen. It's great seeing you again. How are you doing? It's great getting your daughter to try the plan also. I give blood every 2 months. I had no problem giving while in P2. In fact, the first time I gave while on the HCG my cholesteral dropped from 189 to 135.

Woke this morning to yet another loading day and the icky stomach lives on - waiting for the reprieve that will come tomorrow! Tonight going for onion rings and bacon burger with avocado - that should take care of any fear of not loading on enough fat! We'll see what tomorrow's gain will be! I must say, love not being worried about it - it'll drop off in the first few VLCD days
That's too funny! My stomach has been feeling yucky, too. I'm REALLY looking forward to eating low calories tomorrow!! I've been doing a lot of fat. I still have a pint of banana pudding ice cream to eat tonight and then I'm done. Finally! lol Can't wait to see how we both do

Mis Grits, I'm post-menopausal and have continued to take my hormones throughout all of protocol with no problems at all. The hormones/supplements I take are estrogen, progesterone, DHEA, Vit D and Vit B12. The B12 I take sporadically along with iodine - just because sometimes I forget

It doesn't matter when you take them, although you should space them out during your day. Also, you know that you wait 30 minutes before AND after taking them to eat or drink anything, right?

Down another 1.6 pounds! Looked back at my WLT and I'm in virgin territory by .2 pounds (from my lowest weight during P4). I'm going to take my measurements today...haven't done that in a month or more and I'm curious to see what's up (or down ). Have a great day, HcGers!

Colleen, glad to see you pop in. I don't know if you can, but if you can donate blood when your pregnant, you should have no problem with donating while on hCG. Pop in more often.

I just pop up, and am wide awake. It's not like I'm groggy or worried, or anything like that....I'm just...awake. I've decided to get into agreement with it rather than fighting it so today I got out of bed, read, got dressed, and started my day! I'd love some company here in the wee hours, so pop on when you're up early

I do my first drops when I get up. Second dosage about 2:00 PM and, as recommended by my supplier, late, like about 8:00 PM for my last dosage.

Today is VLCD 2.

Yesterday my final Loading weight was 150.6 and this morning I am down -2.8. Yay, loading weight gone and then some.

I am, however, still dealing with the ucky tummy. Yesterday I blamed the nausea on the loading, but this morning was even worse. I pulled the car over on my way to work and barely got the door open before losing all my water on the side of the road. (TMI- I know) Anyway, I left work as I continued to feel sick.

I am committed to this protocol, so I am going to hang tough, I just wondered if anyone had any similar issues. I notice I'm a little shaky in the morning so my first guess is low blood sugar. So I have skipped the coffee in the morning. As much as I'd like to wait til lunch to eat, I may have to try having a few apple slices tomorrow morning to see if it makes any difference.

I'm going to use the day off to nap and work on report cards- wishing you all big losses this morning!
