Hang in there some of mine were 4 oz too ...if it seems to stall you cut a small piece off what you take out of the freezer

Hi! You said it! I feel exactly the same way! I have 5 lbs to whittle off to get back to LIW. Look forward to hearing how your shake day goes. What is a reset day?

Wow - 6lbs in one day of regular P3 eating - that is amazing! A a Happy and Healthy New Year to you too and good luck to your daughter with the protocol.

Awesome job! I used Apple Cider Vinegar with my salads throughout protocol ... and stevia in my coffee so it should be fine to use them both.

It's so great to see so many nice losses this morning!

Dizzy - as ever your losses are super! I think you must be breaking all records for losses for females on protocol.

So, starting today to release 5lbs - starting at 120.6 and want to get to 115.5. Not doing a typical correction day today since we have leftovers from yesterday but will be super low carb and low cal. Wondering if the weight will come off my butt and thighs though - seem like the only time the fat there has been released has been with the help of HCG.

I am finishing up Loading Day 2, and I feel as though I am about to bust. I am saving just enough room for PB Choc ice cream during The Bachelor tonight. I am really rooting for myself to put on more today than I did yesterday (only +1.2). I am even more excited to start seeing the scale move in the RIGHT direction though. VLCD starts tomorrow.

Question.. Any teachers out there? I have a terribly hard time getting all my water in when I have to run out of the classroom every 20 minutes!! I guess I'll just be getting most of my fluids in the evenings.

I'm not a teacher, but I get one 10 minute break an hour, so I use it to run and pee. Sometimes I do need to go before/after that break, but you only pee every 5 seconds at first. Once your body gets used to it, your bladder won't be the size of a pea anymore.

By the way, I tend to get my water in during the day, then not drink much after 6-7, so I make sure to sleep through the night.

You don't necessarily NEED to put on weight during loading - some people even lose. You just need to eat lots of fat - if you like Macadamia nuts try a whole jar of macadamia but butter. Yum and totally high fat. I confess I've consumed a whole jar without the excuse of loading. ;o)

Lilly,
I feel like I am 100 ft. from the restroom...So...I will get up 15 min. earlier than usual, weigh, put drops under tongue, shower, makeup and clothes..by then it has been about 30 min. after dropping and I will drink a huge glass of water, my coffee, and another glass of water before I leave for school. I hope this helps so that I can eliminate a lot of fluids before 8:10 in the morning. (Let's hope it works!!)

Hello my friends!

to all the new posters and "window shoppers" who have joined the group! This is a GREAT group of people!

Sorry I've been MIA! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! I took vacation from Christmas Eve to yestaurday and stayed very busy. I also took an interruption during that time. Today is my 1st day back on VLCD and I must say I was ready to go back. Well, I do miss the Starbucks Light Fraps I was having while on the interruption (won't be having those is P3, to much sugar but enjoyed them on my interruption:blush. I will be ending this round by the end of January hopefully at my goal of 120 or less.

Happy, Healthy HCGing to all!!

Hi Lilly,

I am a teacher too. I know what you mean about only being able to go to the bathroom at certain times of the day. Luckily, we have an open concept at our school (no doors) and my neighbor is pregnant (totally understands) so we can take turns watching the kids. I drink water all day long.

Wow... ok so... how does it work? You put in your height/weight/some other info, and it figures out how many calories you've burned by just going about your normal day? Is that including your BMR, or on top of your BMR?

-------
My break is over. Tomorrow, I'm back on hCG for another 19 VLCDs. I did well today until I got home and my boyfriend wanted to take me out to dinner (he's usually broke), so I went. And THAT started out good with low-carb wings at B-dub's. But then, I had a couple fried mushrooms. And then a brownie. :-/ Could've been worse, I suppose, since I ate low carb the rest of the day. Ah well...

I also busted out my old scale, which is in .5 increments. I think it's a lot cleaner/neater looking to document in .5s rather than .2s. .2s are more precise, but it's so little and messy looking. So.. i'll probably weigh on both and figure out which one I want to go by.
You clip it on your waist/bra strap and it uses whatever technology the wii uses to track your movement and stuff. Somehow, magically it comes up with a number of calories you've burned.

I don't think BMR really comes into play.. because assuming you have it on for 24 hours, it monitors what you burn while you're doing whatever your doing.. driving, walking, sitting, etc. Or am I being dense? All I know is I love it.

Will I wear it 24/7 for forever? No. But is it useful - absolutely.

I will get it all off over the next 12 days before my round 3. clean P3 and some reset days will get me back in window. Frustrating to let myself have that much fun with food but I really enjoyed my time with family and friends. Sooooooo, I am not perfect but I am forgiven. Anyway so many new people. You all have to stay with us and be accountable and stay intentional. Really folks we have all tweaked Dr. S. protocol a bit here and there and I have not heard one success story from the alterations. Stay on plan and we will all be thin and healthy before we know it. I am very excited that so many people I know and care about are doing this protocol and are winning big time. I am really enjoying my work outs and I am loving the way I feel after I am done.

Bob, Dizzy, Chelangal, Melissa, and so many others...You are losing wonderfully and I am so proud of you all for crossing your t's and dotting your i's. You all do not know how much you have helped me on my journey and I am very thankful for you!

Is there anyone out there loading on the 16th and 17th? I am starting that weekend and I am so excited to be starting again.

So many new people you will do well and be successful. Most of us have not used a clinic as the cost can be pretty high. My family has lost closed to 400 lbs and we have all used the HHCG and followed P&I by Dr S. to do it. After reading it and you have questions then ask away but please read it. I know I have to read it again before my next round. None of my family has gone to a clinic to lose the weight.

Chelangal have a great trip in Hawaii! I would love to travel more and am contemplating a part time job so I can...

Keila: glad your home safe and was able to stay so close to your LDW.

Lindy: I miss you but suspect you will be starting another round soon...I think you and I were on P2 together for a good bit of our last round. Hope things are well for you and your family.
Thanks!! I need to buckle down and do a proper correction day, though!!

Melissa - It is good to see you back! And you are rocking this round! KUTGW!
That's amazing!

Also, there's that whole thing of if you just POUND a liter of water, it will do basically no good. That's why you'll just pee immediately. It's best to space out your water and give your body a chance to use it properly.

Nothing exciting over here today.. back at work (been off since the 21st) and I'm exhausted. Didn't get much sleep last night and I STILL haven't been to the market so by lunchtime, I was RAVENOUS. I had a salad (romaine, chicken, pico de gallo) and a side of guacamole (3 tbsp) and used my own dressing. I also had a bag of nuts... and 3 pieces of almond roca. Dinner, if you can call it that, will be a protein shake.

All you P2-ers - congrats on your losses! I'm jealous AND happy not to be in P2 at the same time.

Do you mean a chart for long term success? I've never seen one. I know that for the first time in my life I was able to maintain my weight (within a few pounds either way) from the end of October through December on Phases 3 and 4. I figured out how to eat to do that so I'm not worried about my future success.

I just wondered if you input your height/weight/bodyfat/whatever, and it'd incorporate how much you burn just sitting there, too.. so, like, assuming your BMR is 1200, and you clipped it on and sat there doing nothing for 10 minutes, would it show that you just burned 8.3 calories (1,440 minutes in a day and a BMR of 1200). It's not a dealbreaker or anything, I'm just wondering what all it includes/does.

This thing ate my response.

You do enter your height and weight... And can even enter stride length.

The thing is, at least to me (and we might be going in semantic circles here), it throws the whole idea of bmr/rmr out the window.

It resets to zero at midnight every day and collects info for the 24 hour period.

You can, on the website, go back and specify what you were doing at any given time... But the calories burned/used info has already been recorded. And specifying what you were doing doesn't change the the calories burned/used number.

Does this help?

Huh. So it doesn't ONLY tell you what you burned by whatever exercise you were doing, it tells you (an approximate, of course, not exact) how many calories you burned that 24 hours, period?

Ok, apparently I'm extra slow today. Sorry. I'm going to bed.

GREAT to be back!

Looking forward to VLCD day 2 and my first losses tomorrow. Glad to return to the clean eating, though I did feel peckish all day...seems like that was gone within a couple of days last time. Lots of hot tea and water to save my A**

Oooooooh, I can't wait till you get up and post your loss!!

Down 1.2 today, a much more reasonable loss. 1.6 pounds away from virgin territory that I haven't seen in 7-8 years! I made a bunch of mini goals and noted them on my WLT. They all appear doable, so I'm confident this will be a great round!

I see all of us melting and maintaining!!

Not feeling great this morning- which may be due to all the crap I forced down the last 2 days. Hoping it will pass.

Happy losing today everyone!

Well.......Did you ever wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and you just FELT thinner? I did.................

and then this morning.......weighed the same as yesterday. Sigh...............I know "this to shall pass!" Is it normal on the HHCG to not have a visit from bernice in 7 days?

I'm getting a little worried...........???

Daily check-in

Good morning All. Today is VLCD 11, and my weight today is 193, the same as yesterday. This is the first day I have not lost weight, but that can be expected. The only thing I did different was, last night I had a large SB coffee, instead of a med. McD's coffee. I will try and catch up during the day or tonight. Everyone have a great day and stay INTENTIONAL.

Daily Update

1.8 lbs. down this a.m. released 3.8 lbs in two VLCD, 5.8 lbs. away from LDW

Bob, sorry to hear the scale didn't move down this a.m. Maybe tomorrow you'll see a whoosh, hope so.

Suzypepper, take magnesium. I like the magnesium ultra capsules.

Mlily, 1.6 from loading is o.k. I gain that from just one load day. Hope you feel better, take apple cider vinegar to help your tummy.

Simone, 4.2 lbs. is terrific

Dizzy, on setting new goals and being so close to virgin territory. 1.2 lbs. is great after an almost 15 lb. release in 3 days, woo-hoo

Welcome back River Goddess, hope your tummy is feeling better today. Glad your operation is over and you are back with us.

Enjoy your loading days Mz. Grits. Remember to eat plenty of fats, eggs, avacados, cream cheese, all cheeses, ice cream, nuts, bacon, pork, etc. Go easy on the sugar & starches.

Melissa, Lindy, Sharon, David, Kim, Gracie, Janeann, Brown, Keila, Ashley, Squirtam, Ashley, Karie, Chelangal, Sharon, IC, Meri, Deb, Candy, Tracy, Traceym1, Candy and all in hCG land.

8.4 pounds

Ok I swear I am not lying yesterday I was 271.2 pounds ughh.... that number hurt and was embarrassing to post but...did 3 shakes yesterday and my exercise routine and 2 visits from BERNICE and today I weighed in at 263.8 which is am amazing 8.4 pounds. I hope my scale is not screwing with me....Anyways I am excited to not have to pay for all the debauchery of eating over the holidays. A couple more days of eating normal and I should be back within range and hopefully lower before my next round. Andrea and Kimberly are both maintaining nicely in P3. Seems like my body wanted to get back to the set point that was created during P3. To me that is very exciting...A body that wants to go down on the scale when given the chance instead of going up. Everyone have a great day of losing and maintaining and be a blessing to someone today.
