This thread has a few versions! This is one of those 'can't go wrong' kind of recipes.

I am wondering if any of you eat any type of fruit, such as bananas and pineapple on P3.
Dr. S says: the patients free to eat anything they please except sugar and starches for the next three weeks. |

Nope! Those fruits you listed are the fruits that are too high in sugar. He does caution against eating fruits that are too high in sugar!!!

Mine is a bit different than this one, mine is posted in the recipe sticky for us hcgers. This is on the web:
Buffalo Chicken Dip Ingredients * 2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained * 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened * 1 cup Ranch dressing * 3/4 cup pepper sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot®) * 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese * * 1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces * 1 (8 ounce) box chicken-flavored crackers Directions 1. Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm. Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on Low setting until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks and crackers.

I use Duke's Mayo. It is the only one that I have been able to find that doesn't have sugar in it. You have to get the regular, not the low fat! And it doesn't say sugar free on the label, but if you check out the ingredients you will not see sugar listed. |

Lindy,
Mine is exactly like that--look to the left of the black circle and see the red ribbon? That says sugar free!! (Then states that it is not a reduced calorie food LOL) I know it is not plastered over the label--but it displays it nontheless!! |

OK, this chicken wing dip is what I make!!! I don't know what happened and why in the world I posted the one above!!!. But this is awesome!!! I double the chicken in it---actually I just use up what I have. If I have a lot I use it all--if I have a little then just a little. I also cut the pepper sauce down to 1/2 cup as my DH says 3/4 is too salty tasting. And he loves HOT stuff!! I don't know what I was thinking when I posted the above recipe LOL. I will be loading with this tomorrow or the next day.
Chicken Wing Dip Ingredients * 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened * 3/4 cup pepper sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot®) * 1 cup Ranch-style salad dressing * 2 cups diced cooked chicken * 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese Directions 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese and hot pepper sauce until well blended. Mix in the Ranch dressing, chicken and Cheddar cheese. Spread into a 9x13 inch baking dish. 3. Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. If oil collects on the top, dab it off using a paper towel. Serve with tortilla chips. I'm reading all that I can to get ready for P3 which starts for me on Saturday.
I do have a couple of questions. Can you all give me suggestions on nutrients or anything else you can think of that I should be taking in addition to the food on P3? I read about probiotics and other things. If you could tell me what each thing does, that would be helpful too. I'm not big on taking pills and need to know why a certain thing is recommended before I can get in the mindset of taking them. I'm just very anti-chemicals/pills/medication for some reason. Also, just to be double sure.. is Almond Flour and Coconut Flour allowed on P3? What about SF chocolate (I'm talking maybe 1 small piece, every other day). Thanks in advance for your help!

I did well using the almond flour and coconut flour in my P3s. You will have to try them and see if you will do! Just be sure to use one, one day and the other another day so you can tell which one you are sensitive to, if you are at all!! I have also used almond butter without any troubles. But you certainly have to exercise portion control!!! And I have had chocolate on my P3s. I have had the sugar free--great in the cream cheese muffins as well as the good dark kind that does have sugar, but only a bit because I buy the 72% and 88% kind. |

I was looking all over last night trying to find a P3 tip thread and couldn't find it. Now M wants to try and go a few more days and see if she can reach a 20 lb. loss before moving on.

Omg, I am so excited about starting p3 on Tuesday!
I stocked up on broccoli, green beans, avocados, stuff for cauliflower fried rice, got a nice box of ripe organic white peaches and some organic cream, pork ribs, chicken apricot sausage, honeycrisp apples... I AM SO EXCITED!! I was so excited I planned my first two days menus out. I'm at 1000 calories Tuesday and 1200 calories Wednesday, and I don't even know if I will be able to finish, lol. |
