Help - Lost in P3 World
Help!! My first post (but have been an ardent reader/admirer of all members).
This is my 3rd day in P3 (after what seemed a successful HCG drops -P1/P2 (42 days - 25 lbs) and Lo & Behold....Already up a whopping 3 lbs.. I woke up with a headache and immediately gorged on two oatmeal cookies to keep my eyes popping out (sic!). I guess I need to go shopping to buy P3 friendly foods... Any help is appreciated. Thanks |

Has anyone experienced this? I'm on P3 right now, whenever I eat dinner, I gain 1 pound next morning and whenever I don't, I lose 1 pound next morning... I've never been over by 2 pounds because I've always found a way to solve it, but it seems if I don't eat dinner, I might be losing 1 pound everyday on P3... I've tried increasing my calorie intake then not eat dinner (and I'm not hungry at all), but I still lose 1 pound next morning.... anyone experienced this?

That would have been helpful in your first post ![]() ![]() I have Greek yogurt, my daughter (who is a type 1 diabetic) loves chicken salad--just a can of chicken with added mayo and mustard and a bit of onion powder. She just had this like a sandwich with a slice of bacon and wrapped in a slice of gouda cheese. Talk about yum Another of her favorites--sausage patties, sausage links, cream cheese muffins, leftover low carb casseroles--favorite being scalloped ham and cauliflower. Another favorite is chicken, cabbage, cheese, bacon casserole. They can be found on linda sue's low carb site. My daughter will also eat leftover cauliflower soup. I could go on........anything you can eat at lunch or dinner makes great breakfast food. My kids (the ones who don't low carb) eat egg rolls, chicken patty sandwiches, even leftover pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs.........

New here...tale of my woes. I began P3 last Wed, after a 36 lb loss on P2. Had a couple of days of intestinal issues and went 1.2 below LDW. Then I was able to eat P3 friendly for 1 day and when I weighed on Saturday morning I was back up to 2.6 above LDW. So I did an egg day yesterday. I ate 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast, 2 soft boiled eggs for lunch, 2 eggs made into eggnog (non alcoholic), and then 4 eggs deviled for dinner. I was up a pound this morning. Maybe it was the eggnog...maybe it was not drinking enough water, whatever it was, I was not happy. Today I am going to try a chicken day and make sure I get my water in. I am very nervous about P3, especially with this kind of a start!

) but the very NEXT day, I am down a couple of pounds. I would NOT do a correction day 2 days in a row. Just hang in there, eat clean P3 (that means no cheese, no nuts) and you should be back down. Good luck!! Do not freak out. |

Trying hard not to
Lol...actually I am more than anything because I don't know what I am doing wrong. I will keep on keeping on even though this morning I was up another .6. ![]() But I do find it hard to down all the water I need. I just don't like water and a whole gallon in a day??? ![]() Also wondering if anyone has an opinion whether or not the RX or Homeopathic HCG has a bearing on how your P3 goes. Thanks! |

Hmm.....that is very
What are you eating? Something every day you could be sensitive to? I know of a poster that was unable to have almond flour in P3. Every time she made a goodie with almond flour she would gain the very next day. If you are eating eggs every day, then that could be a culprit. Think of something you are eating every day, eliminate that, and then see how you are the next day on the scale. I know of someone else who had trouble with eggs on P3. Even though it is "P3 legal" you can still be sensitive to it. I also know of someone who loved steak days. She loved nothing more than eating a huge steak at the end of the day. Could not do it in P3. She was devastated. She loved beef but found out she could not eat it and maintain, let alone lose. You have to be your own detective--let us know what you find out!!!I agree with the water. Very important. I get in 2 32 oz water jugs a day. You don't need a whole gallon, could be bad for you! But you do need to continue that water. Now that it is winter, I find it very hard to get in. Have to make myself get it in. I normally get in 3 32 oz water jugs a day, but just cannot do it in the winter. Last edited by dawnyama; 11-20-2012 at 04:11 AM.. |

One thing I have found helpful with water, especially first thing in the day, is to have HOT water with lemon and a little sweetener. It's kind of like Neo Citran without the medicine (or hot lemonade, if you will).

New Here
Hi all,
I'm new to this forum. I'm here because I want my p3 to be successful and after reading through a lot of your posts, I've found a lot of good info. A little about myself...I started hcg on 8/19/12. I made a risky decision from the start. I decided to go until I met my initial goal or reached immunity. I actually surpassed my original goal so I decided to head to p3. My journey was 100 days and a loss of 63lbs. I am a vegetarian so p2 was a bit harder than some I suppose but overall it was pretty good. I had no issues, no setbacks, only stalled during my monthly madness with immediate water loss afterwards, and felt great the entire time. I am now praying for the same good fortune in p3. I start tomorrow(well later today since its 1 am). I have decided that for the first couple of days, I am sticking to p2 foods with a protein increase, veggie increase and adding cream to my coffee finally(yes!!!). I'll start adding foods on day 3 to give my system time to get used to the increases. It's a bit overwhelming after eating 500 calories for so long. I'm open to any and all tips/tricks/advice. I plan to stick around here for a while. |

Are coconut and/or almond flour allowed in P3? Or is that really considered "rouge," and if I want to be by-the-book, wait until P4? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if they are "allowed" technically, but I did have mug cakes in P3 (the recipe with 1 Tbsp of coconut flour) as well as small amounts of cheese, HWC/olive oil/butter, different fruits and veggies and of course, more protein. I didn't have almond flour, though. My P3 went REALLY well, too.
