12 min. rebounder, phone rang, so that was the end of that. Jack LaLanne chair exercises and only 2 rounds of 8 lb. weights.

So were we, Loretta, no reason why, either, maybe getting older or something?

dh parked and I walked from one store to another at 3 different stores, Bed Bath & Beyond, 1/2 Price Books and Office Max, so that gave me some speed walking in. Squats in the living room and weights in here, and I'm done, Silas will be here later.

This is my PT day so will be moving and a groovin. Had a nice visit with daughter yesterday while she waited here for her car service so didn't feel like walking after that. But got my bike in after she was back on the road heading for home.

rebounder for 19 minutes and 8 lb. weights in here. 2 sets of squats and that is that.

Well, when Silas's Dad came, Silas wanted to go out back, which I didn't want to do, but they went out for about 12 min. because he wanted to bat his tee ball around, they both came in sweaty and red and thirsty, so maybe that will stick in his mind, lol. I go back and forth with him in the house, balls down the hallways, and then we look at books, color, do his letters and he has some Lego's, etc. We try to get him to talk a lot and do new words. But he also tries to help in the kitchen. Just a lot going on, no sitting around on the computer, that is for sure. And dh takes over, too. He just likes to RUN all over the place.

I got some great news at therapy yesterday. I'm at 95% now with my knee and looks like I'll be able to spread my wings and leave that nest. My therapist told me that I can soon be done. Now I'm thinking about getting a stepper that you sit on the floor and step up and down on. I use to have one but it went when I slacked off and started the ole gaining wt. again. Don't think that will happen again as my new knee is way too precious to screw up. Don and I will be starting the walking trails soon. There are a couple I want to try that look like fun. Want to see those panorama views.

Look at yard sales for some step ups, Sharon!! Especially now that summer is almost gone, and people go back into holiday thinking and eating, and shun the exercise stuff...........I look for weights now. Here there are local groups on Facebook, so you don't even have to drive around looking for yardsales. Good Luck! I'm thinking your area also has yard sales on F/B, too.

Today is squats and wall pushups day for me, here and there, all over the house, while waiting for the laundry, things to boil, etc.

Most of the vegetation is dry here because of the drought. I do some leaves changing colors and the daylight is getting shorter.

Walk, so far. Need yet to exercise.

well, I did 30 minutes on the Wii today...at least I'm trying.

Has anyone read the Strong Women books....Strong Women have strong bones is one? Why I ask is the doctor who wrote the books has an excellent web site with exercise programs. That's one I need to start up again...

Mary, I am always learning from you! I had never heard of the 'Strong Women' program and looked it up, but, of course there wasn't a group anywhere near me (boo!), BUT I did discover a 'Walk with a Doc' program not too far away. I'm going to try and join them on the 13th.

Thanks to you, I'm motivated to get moving, too!

Yes, Susan enjoys walking with friends, it's a good way to get going and have some companionship, too! And the weather is going to get better, thankfully.

Today is walk the alleys time for me, dh is busy with his soccer and the bike. So far, no coyotes lately, but several folks have lost cats in our vicinity.
