TUESDAY'S Roll Call, July 22

Tuesday, thinking of doing a Costco run, and picking up Silas in the afternoon. Going to be a hot day, typical day.

Have a restful night, if you can swing it!!

Never did get here yesterday. Oops.

Have fun tomorrow with Silas and hope the heat doesn't bother you too much.

Going to be hot and really humid here too. UGH!!

Getting sick of this getting old. Damned elbow developed bursitis.

See you all tomorrow.

For once I agree with Linda. This getting old is the pits. Whatever happened to a day or two of rest and fluids and you are ready to rejoin the human race?

My husband declares many times, that whomever said these were the "Golden Years", he wants to meet him and beat them up, one side and down the other. It's "Gold" to doctors and pharmacists, therapists, plastic surgeons, etc. though.

I have problems with my right hand/thumb area, so some days my handwriting is awful, still can type though. Even though it's warm here, I don't detect that it does much better for arthritis at all.

Oh well, thankfully we can vent on here, and go about our lives in one way or another, ((hugs)) to ALL of us, and special ((hugs)) to Louise, MaryT, Verleen, Mary and I'm going to stop here because I think all of us have "something" just not right...................we just don't mention it.

dh is going to vacuum right after breakfast, and than off we go to Costco, need trout, fish, meat, and those other odds and ends that creep into the cart.

Good Morning!
My significant other (hard to refer to him as my "boyfriend" at our ages!!) just returned from a trip to Yosemite National Park...we met there 40 years ago. I got news -- we didn't hike to Vernal Falls this time with as much piss and vinegar as we did when I was 18 and he was 22! To be honest, I could not make the last two-tenths of the mile up so Ed went on without me. I told him to go for it -- I knew that I would be sprawled out on the same rock when he returned! I am still hurting 3 days later. We had a great time though

Good morning all...slept like a babe last night which was a relief (no, I didn't wake up at three ayem crying and with a wet diaper). Since I didn't make it in to the Spanish class this morning, I've nothing else planned for the day...maybe I'll clean out my fridge's freezer as I'm sure I've just been throwing stuff in there and I don't think I could get anything else if I had to. My freezer in the garage has been a boon as we've been slowly emptying it, but it's still full, too.

Anyway, staying home in the coolth fershure as the temps start climbing here into the triple digits. Have a great day and find something pleasant just for you. Hugs to all.

MIL said years ago that "Getting old is not for sissies".

Been feeling it here too. One day it's a hip, the next day it's my back, then my foot, then my shoulder, etc.... Some times all the above.

Getting really hot this week. The patio out back is already showing 120 before 1PM.

As soon as Jo gets through a couple medical tests this week we will be hitting the road, going north, for at least a couple weeks.

Doug, you guys could bake something on your patio!!! I think we could bake something in our garage, I wonder why no one has air conditioning in the garage here, it's pitiful, I feel sorry for the car.
I'm glad you guys are heading north for a spell, to visit your friends and relatives from where you used to live, I presume! Good

We are off to pick up Silas soon, I need to fix up an iced drink for him, lol.

Mary, I'm glad you slept last night, better than a baby!!!

Doris, lots of people have ac in garage,I think all it takes is having vents put in.I would like a screen door between the garage and utility room. When I go out to feed I open both doors to air it out, helps some.
Mary,I took your place and stood watch.lol

So sorry to hear this, Babette. What kind of treatment will you have to do?

That's too bad , Babette. Pneumonia is a nasty thing. Usually get it myself at least once a year.
